NOTE: This is a long-form review. If you dont want to take the time to read it all, my conclusion is that Id absolutely recommend Piazza Mazda of Reading to anyone interested in purchasing a Mazda, even if youre not from the area. I enjoyed doing business with them so much, Id make another out-of-state, 2 1/2 hour drive to them for my next car purchase. ***FULL REVIEW*** Being a New Jersey resident, I initially began the process of purchasing my 2017 Mazda 3 GT Hatchback at a local New Jersey-based Mazda dealership. After receiving extremely poor service from them over the course of a week while they tried to locate the car I wanted, which they ultimately failed to do so and then lied to me about the reasons why, I decided to pull my $500 deposit and look elsewhere. I searched on Mazdas official website for the exact car, color, and trim level I wanted, and the closest dealership with an exact match was Piazza Mazda of Reading. I called them immediately, and spoke with Kristen Fink. I explained my situation to Kristen and told her that if they had the car on the lot and we could agree on a fair price, I would make the 2 1/2 hour drive out to Pennsylvania to buy it the following day. Kristen understood and got straight to the point with me. To give perspective on how efficiently Kristen worked, let me just say that my outgoing phone call was at 1:44 PM. By 2:58 PM, Kristen had: 1) confirmed the car was on the lot, 2) negotiated a reasonable price with me, 3) obtained my trade-in info and gave me a ballpark value, 4) obtained my personal info, 5) ran my credit request, 6) confirmed my interest rate and payment amount with me, and 7) made an appointment with me for 10:00 AM the next day. Kristen did more in that hour or so than my local NJ dealership did in a week. The following day, my girlfriend and I arrived at the dealership around 10:00 AM to see the Mazda 3 I intended to purchase was freshly detailed and waiting for me in front of the dealership building, just as Kristen had promised. Kristen promptly greeted us upon entering the building, and we got right down to business. There were no tricks or reneging on anything we discussed over the phone. The sales price was as agreed. The zero percent interest rate was as agreed. I got the exact amount I wanted for my trade-in on my first request; there was no annoying back-and-forth haggling. We were in and out as quickly as possible with no wasted time. Overall, I am extremely impressed and pleased with Piazza Mazda of Reading. Every person I dealt with that day --- the trade-in manager, the finance manager, Kristen --- was honest, straightforward, and professional. Its how car-buying should be everywhere, but sadly isnt. That makes Piazza Mazda of Reading very special, in my opinion. PS - This dealership apparently changed ownership back around August 2016, so if you see negative reviews, check the date of the review. It most likely is discussing the dealership under the previous owners, NOT the current owners.

We recently were in the market for a new crossover and decided to check out a CX-3 at our local dealer. When negotiations broke down we reached out to multiple Mazda dealers who had the vehicle we wanted in stock, of all these dealers Piazza Mazda really stood out from the pack. Darian Freese was our contact from dealerships internet department. She was always polite, professional and quick to reply to my messages. Their initial offer on the vehicle was aggressive, but when another dealer beat their price they were quick to offer an even more aggressive price on this newer vehicle. Even though I had a slightly better price elsewhere, I decided to make the drive to them based on the service alone. Upon arriving at the dealership I was handed off to Kristen Fink who had the vehicle waiting out front for my inspection. I appreciated that the car had not been touched since delivery and still had the coverings on the paint and all the seats. Some people prefer the car be all detailed and ready to go, but I appreciated knowing it was literally brand new and never driven before. I certainly didnt mind waiting for detailing after the purchase was finalized To be fair Kristen really didnt have to do much since I had already test driven the car previously and the price had been worked out before I arrived. Still she was very personable and had a natural way of dealing with people. She seemed well suited for sales even though she said she had only been doing it a short time. If you want a fun and enjoyable sales experience she is definitely the one to seek out when you go to this dealership. Having played the deal game with different dealerships I really appreciated the no nonsense pricing I received before I visited Piazza. Their price on my trade was equally aggressive and in the end it was definitely worth the trip. No doubt about it, any problems this dealership had before have been completely rectified with the new ownership. I cant recommend them enough for a Mazda purchase if your looking for a great deal and excellent service. We will definitely be back when we look to purchase another CX-5.

NO! NO ! NO! NO! I STRONLY SUGGEST TO DONT BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE WHAT-SO-EVER! Everyone was sooo hapily to help sell me a car a certified pre-owned car, but within 2 week there was an issue with the rear. And let me tell you what! Dealing with this mess and group of people has been aweful! I was promised by the service dept my car would be ready the next day, and a week later after I called every manager I possibly could, Just trying to find out where my car was some service guy calls and says "oh didnt anyone call you, your car has been ready." I was told by one manager that they will replace the parts causing the issue, then the next manager tells me that all they can do is add a preventative fluid and have no clue why I was told the parts would be replaced. Just total cluelessness and disrespect from every single person out there.. Typical sales people, best friends trying to sell the car, but could care less when you need help. And god-forbid you try to get someone to call you back after leaving a voicemail. I should have listened to every person who told me that there shady and aweful service. Never again will I go to them or even refer someone to them. Just keep looking somewhere else for a vehicle. This place is not worth it at all!

Found a car through USAA. I requested info and received a call from the dealer about 5 min later. The lady I spoke with on the phone said they had the car on the lot and we set up an appointment for the day after new years. She offered to place the car on a hold and put it in the back lot until my appointment. She did not ask for any kind of deposit (I would have if asked, as this was exactly the car I wanted). When I called the day of my appointment to verify who I was meeting with, they had no way of telling me if I had an appointment or with who. They said the car sold a few days ago. I mentioned the hold I was offered, she said there was no hold if I did not put a $500 deposit(again, I was not asked to). I finally got to speak with the sales manager, and he said that they never do holds (so now, yet a different story) but he was able to see that I had an appointment at least. He apologized that I was told incorrect and offered no other assistance or try to resolve the issue. This dealership is full of liers and piss poor communication between scheduling, sales and management. I prefer an honest business to spend my $20,000+ at and one that tries to resolve issues not just lie to you. Hope this is a helpful review to other shoppers.
