My wife and I just recently bought a new, 2015, Subaru Outback from Roberts Subaru, Downingtown, PA.. Chad Vail, our young salesman, was personable, knowledgeable, patient, kind, and not pushy. He did a fine job and we were pleased with how we were treated through the whole experience. Prior to going to the dealership, we got a prompt estimate of the proposed car costs from Alex at Roberts internet sales department, after first doing our homework with Edmunds. The closing experience went smoothly and we bit for some of the car warranty offers, since these warranties have saved us a bundle with other cars in the past. The extended warranty is always just a matter of customer preference. Taking or leaving the car extended warranty offers doesnt alter the pleasant experience we had had with Chad in sales, Anthony in finance, Kim in the service department and in the welcoming tour. Everyone needs to make a living and to feed their families, but not everyone is kind and runs their business with a caring and relaxed attitude. Roberts Subaru was a nice place for us to have purchased our new car. We intend to use their service department as the miles are put on our new car. In the end, we have a solid Subaru, a decent dealer and a good memory of the way we were treated. The 5-stars out of 5 was an easy rating decision on our part for Roberts Subaru. It was nice to hear the words, "Thank you for buying your new car from us," instead of the typical "There you go" and "No problem" comments that we all hear so often at so many places. Thank you, Chad, Anthony, Kim and Alex.

Over the last two years, Ive purchased three new Subarus from Roberts. I have been driving SAABs since 1983 and since their demise, I decided to give Subaru a go. My first was a BRZ, 2013. The second purchase was a 2014 Forester2.5i and the most recent, a 2015 Forester XT. I am extremely particular about my vehicles and how each is maintained and treated. Im sure Robers picked up on this during my first purchase, the BRZ which was my first encounter with the dealership. Obviously I could not be more pleased with a dealership. Each purchase was done with minimal negotiation, a win win for everyone. My vehicles were properly prepared, and my returns for routine service on each have been totally with out incident. I found the sales and service staff to be helpful and courteous. The Subaru service manager, Dan Peluso listens to what I want, discusses my interests in a way that demonstrates that he appreciates my concerns for my vehicles and always has the work completed on time and to my satisfaction. Dan knows his Subarus and is a great resource for service and information. Greg Sly the sales manager and Dave Paisley are in my opinion real professionals in their business. I never felt like I was being taken advantage of and through three new car purchases, I was totally satisfied with the sale and the follow up service. I highly recommend Roberts. I am also very pleased to be driving Subarus. No regrets regarding the loss of SAAB. Dan Rappucci

The best place to buy a car!!! Aly Lutte was our sales rep and she was beyond amazing. We actually drove 6 hours from Ohio to Pennslyvania because the price of the Honda we wanted was so competitively priced. We were purchasing a used vehicle so before we made that long trip, Aly sent us close up pictures of anything that she thought would have been an imperfection so we could make an informed decision before we took the time and effort to drive all the way there. So amazing! Many dealerships now days, would lie to you to get you in their dealership so they can pressure you into buying. Not so with her! She was so accommodating. She helped us in so many other ways as well before we got there. But it didnt end there! She filled out van with a full tank of gas to help get us home, and even offered to give us $50 of her own money to help with toll costs. Even though we would except that, this kind of service from a car dealership is SO rare! The help didnt stop after we got home. She called that night to make sure we arrived home safely and that we enjoyed the new vehicle. The whole Roberts Auto Mall experience was wonderful! I would drive another 12 hours again the next time we need a new vehicle.

Woldnt tell me car price unless I let them run my credit! First off, I already hate when dealers dont put their prices on their cars, and I usually wont even go to a place that doesnt. But, a couple cars caught my eye so I thought I would stop in. I picked out several cars and went to ask for pricing. They wouldnt tell me. They said lets get your info (run my credit) and well see what we can put you in. This is when i ask for the manager and he came and told me this is the only way they can give me any pricing. Im usually pretty smart about this but for some reason this day I gave in and started giving them my info. I then started getting mad and told them forget about it Im leaving (b4 they even went to put my info in the computer). As Im walking out the door I told the manager "this is crazy what if I wanted to pay in cash and you wont even give me a price". And he yells across the parking lot as I was walking to my car "I dont think you have the cash anyway" Two weeks later I got 2 letters in the mail saying I was denied credit.....these clowns ran my credit twice after I left there...they dont deserve anyones business with these shoddy practices

Purchased a 2013 Black Diamond Avalanche, knew I wanted to upgrade but not sure I was ready, in talking with Al Mummert (sales) he informed me this was the last model year and if I wanted one I should move quick because they didnt stick around, between him and Angelo the service they provided to make the deal comfortable was one I will never forget, they were prepared to stay after closing hours to get the paperwork done and make sure the vehicle was clean and ready to go, This was the fourth vehicle my family purchased from Roberts and the company I work for has bought several vehicles as well, it is the no pressure sales and polite service people who make you want to come back. They are the only dealer I ever dealt with that follows up to make sure you are happy and that everything is good with the decision you made. They even will notify you when the vehicle is due for inspection, recommended service, etc. all without pressure, and if you dont want them to contact you they respect that as well. Keep up the good work, there is another vehicle sales in the future for us and we look forward the same service.

Had a need to get my Ridgeline serviced. Email them to get a price for a B13 service and received confirmations that they received my email but nothing further. Called the service department three times. One time they were ALL out to lunch and the other two they wanted me to leave voice mails. Finally I went in yesterday with their Express Service coupons only to be told they had no Express Service at the time. One wonders why have Express Service coupons online when there is no express service. Told them about my email and this rude guy Doug asks my name, searches the emails and says I didnt send any email to them. Basically he called me out and indicated I was a liar. I will be sending them copies of their responses to my email. This reminds me of the time years ago when I and my neighbor ran into the same problem with them and we finally went to Scotts and bought two Ridgelines and a CRV in one sale. Bottom line, I went to Scotts Express Service. They were extremely curtious. They honored Roberts online Express Service coupons and I was out of there in 1 1/2 hours. So where would you go???
