I had the unfortunate experience of buying a jacket and decided to return it the next day in its original condition without the receipt. If you dont have a receipt, Columbia (Castle Rock) will not refund your purchase if you paid by credit card. They will only offer you a store credit despite being misinformed by an employee who indicated that it would not be a problem for a full refund. The manager will make no exceptions to Columbias store policy. I asked him twice--NO EXCEPTION. I asked why Columbia will not refund a purchase without a receipt if you paid by credit card. His reason was "loss control". He didnt say Im sorry its our policy with a reason that could be more palatable. The answer was simply loss control, which typically means theft or shrinkage. The manager further indicated that video surveillance is being used to monitor customer transactions. I said perfect, then you can pull the video to see I paid for the merchandise with my credit card. You get the feeling youre guilty unless proven innocent.

Love the outlets here, but this is definitely one store you must visit. The deals here bring the prices down to a good buy. Though they dont ever feel like a steal, you are getting Columbia quality. The staff is always helpful. Theyve held onto items for me, price checked, and even found ways to get the most of any extra discounta going on.

Person who check out today, he is so rude. They marked down boots price which I am going to buy. But he keep telling that price they put on the shoes are mistake or something. I could give him big 0. They suppose to sell that price which marked on the product. Other stores they always adjust those price because they did mistake

Staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Normal pricing was pretty fair, but the sales were incredible! I saved so much money on my snow gear. 50-60% off.
