I love Stop & Shop. The good thing about the stores that they carry all the main grocery items as well as some finer food products. For example, they have a lot of different types of cheeses like st. Andres and Saint angels. Additionally, they have a great selection of meats. They have prime rib, dry aged beef, wag use strips comma and that sort of thing in addition to basic grilling type beef and pork. The self-checkout is fast. They also have a great bakery that makes amazing fresh bread like soft baguette and brioche loaf. They always have a good deal on soda and seltzer as well. As far as prices go, I would assume it might be a little bit more expensive than some of the other chain Grocers like ShopRite, but when you compare the quality and shopping experience of the ShopRite in the Stop & Shop that are right next to my house, there is no comparison. Stop & Shop is just Superior in every way.

This afternoon l had a very good experience at St&Sh in Mt Kisco. Lately l have been very disenchanted with Mrs. Greens and have not been such a steady customer. I had no idea that St&Sh carried many of the same products. As a vegetarian l find the store suprisingly meeting many of my needs. I like the wide isles and the ability to manuver easily. Smaller, cramped stores like Shoprite can be a stressful experience. I pick up a few things at the deli and the older man who waits on me is very kind + patient, deserving of praise. Overall, staff is very friendly, helpful + interactive with customers. I consider myself lucky to have the store close by to my neighborhood where l have easy access to it anytime.

Was visiting my sister from Florida and needed somewhere to shop and she suggested this store and I I had a horrible experience. Not sure if it was because my sister had wic checks and Danielle was the only one apparently that can process these checks( which I think is really Ridiculous for such a big store) but she was not happy and she clearly showed it. I never felt so unwelcome. If you are visiting or have wic, safe your self the embarrassment, its worth it to find the closest Trader Joes

Its fine in terms of a S&S. Major cons are that the Scanners for Scan as you go are almost always out. Ive been there a few times where the wifi system is totally out making the iPhone app a no go, and that doesnt include the two deli ordering computers which are out more often. The deli line itself is always absurdly long for some reason. Also be prepared for people to scan 437 items in the self check out lanes for some reason. Really dont get these people.

Very disappointed in their produce. Bought two avocados and they were both completely black inside. Bought a container of sliced carrots and celery to make soup. When I opened the container the next day, both things were slimy and soft. Obviously had been on the shelf for a long time. Will go back to ShopRite. Their produce is good. Was hoping to have a good supermarket nearby. This was a big disppointment.

What a rip off. The prices are too high, in fact I can drive 15 miles and pay 30-50% less for the same items. After you finish picking your grocery out and ready to check out, this dump of a grocery store does not have enough registers open and it has averaged 25 minutes to check out on the weekends. De Cicco in Katonah is as expensive but so much better quality.

was great at first ...it is now slipping into high prices with inferior produce and less sales...I have spoken to the mgr several times about getting v8 low sodium SPICY juice....writes it down but never gets it. Have to go to shoprite to get it.

This stop and shop is probably the best around, their hot food buffet for lunch and the salad bar that they offer is really incredible! I am here everyday for lunch and I do all my shopping here! The store is clean the staff is friendly!

Good for pantry goods, but dont have vast choices. First aid section is a 1 out of 10. Produce and fish are a 5 out of 10. Butcher is a 7. Prices are mid-level
