We love Petz Place! Petz Place is a wonderful, family owned, pet store in Goodyear. We have been buying our pet food there exclusively, ever since they opened. They have a self service dog wash, oodles of fish supplies, small pets, birds, and fish, and a huge selection of pet supplies. You name it, they seem to have it. We are on the pet food loyalty program, and last time I was in, I got our free bag of food. Our dogs love to tear up stuffed toys and consequently have also torn up every bed I have purchased... until now! Petz Place has a fantastic dog bed that is made out of a tough canvas, and my little diggie-dogs can't make a dent, but it is thick and warm and even washable. They are located on Estrella Parkway, by the Taste of Italy. They have lots of events, including adoption events - come on by and check them out!

This place ROCKS! I will always buy from a locally owned store rather than a chain store, but sometimes the smaller stores wont have everything I need.....not this store! If they dont have the pet supplies I need they always offer to order it at no additional cost. Their prices are close to the same as other larger pet store chains, but I have learned that some things are much cheaper! My kids love coming here since every time we do they are allowed to see the animals and they always learn something new about them. The owner Dud is the sweetest and has always helped me out...he even special ordered my feeder worms so they would be cheaper for me to buy in bulk. Thanks guys for being such a great store!

I have been to many pet stores and by far I like this place. Petz Place has some of the best dog foods around and the owner is one of the best owners Iv met. My two little dogs (Chihuahua and Yorkie) are very picky about raw hide treats. I told him my situation and he bought the kind I explained which were thin and flexible. They have Orijen dog food I always wanted to try instead of ordering online. I usually buy my dogs Innova. Overall good place and Id recommend them. They also carry fish as well. Fish Fridays :)

Wow! At first I thought that a local mom-and-pop pet store couldnt compete with the big chains like PetSmart or PetCo. Boy, was I wrong! This pet shop is definitely big, but very well kept and very clean! I was impressed at the wide selection of various dog food, cat food, bird supplies, aquariums, dog treats, fish, and even reptile supplies! Now I know my shopping for pet supplies in Goodyear AZ will be done here. If you live in Goodyear pet store has the friendliest staff and you should come check it out.

I have an 8 y/o Golden recently diagnosed with nasal cancer. After learning how important diet is when a dog is fighting cancer I stopped in to see what they offered for quality feed. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant to talk to. The manager took the time to not just show quality options but also to educate me about nutrition in general. They also have several high quality options along with raw food options as well.

LOVE this store! The employees are really friendly and helpful. They always recognize and say hi to my dog Kevin and I. Prices are really reasonable and comparable to big chain pet stores, but you get the satisfaction of buying locally. Also, they carry a lot of great organic, grain-free and vegan formula foods. More people should shop here for their pet needs! I would recommend it to anyone.

I take two of my dogs to see Tricia. We moved from Tucson and I was very scared to take my lhasa to a new groomer. He was a rescue and needed someone patient to trim his nails, face, etc. My family and I are so appreciative of Tricia. She not only does a great job on my dogs hair but she is professional, clean, reliable, and above all an amazing lady! Thank you!

Great family owned business! Stephanie was very helpful with products! I have two small dogs under 5lbs and she was able to suggest great treats and food for them. They have a great variety of food and treats. The store is very clean, smelled great, and is well maintained!

Been there many times for my aquarium, and their aquatics area is jam packed full of hard to find fish and are willing to special order the fish you want. Love this place and would rather drive the 15 minutes rather going 1 minute down the road to a big box pets store!

Awesome aquarium store for freshwater fish. Very clean tanks. Ive yet to see a dead fish floating around in the time I have been going there. The staff do a great job maintaining their tanks as well as answering all your questions.

This place is quite expensive in their frozen raw food and treats. Ive purchased these at other small mom and pop shops for about $3 less - the raw marrow bones, that is.
