With how dumpy the area outside is I was expecting something more affordable to cater to my underprivileged paisanos. Boy was I wrong. Yummy breads and good quality tamales. Homies in the carniceria section are A+ but the customer svc anywhere else is meh.Id give 2 stars but Ill give 3 to compensate for the person giving 2 stars because their pinata didnt have candy. Since when do pinatas come equipped with candy in em already? You wouldve thought to at least shake it -_- smh

This is like the old community stores we grew up with. It isnt flashy or new, but it is spotless and the butcher and produce is outstanding. There is such pride evident here. All the cans are just so and even the bags of dried beans look like they were shelved with a ruler and plumb-line. This is my new favorite store!

Forrest Gardens

Ive stopped in on a couple of occasions for random foodstuffs; the place is clean, organized, and open. Im annoyed however that a piñata I recently purchased didnt come with candy. Now, Im at a 4-year old birthday party with a piñata thats worthless.

Horrible customer service from a old lady, I think she is the manager because was called by another cashier to help her in the computer to send money to Mexico. I wont come back to this place and I wont recommend it !! . Worst service ever!!!

Always a great deal on produce and bakery is my favorite for fresh pan dulce. Meat department does not disappoint either - Carnitas is on point.
