This location has more conventional than organic food, and they find reasons to close parts of the store early. At 7:40 the meat counter decided they didnt feel like cleaning their grinder so they wouldnt grind near to order despite having plenty of staff on hand and not closing until the store closes at 10 pm. They used to have a nice light quiet place to eat with kid friendly toys but replaced it with a beer and wine bar and no kids toys. Not sure who is managing this location, but every change made has been negative. They even removed the fresh squeezed orange juice machine in favour of them doing it in the back. I like to see where my food comes from, and I wont buy pre ground meat or pre squeezed oranges. I realize Im picky, but at the prices here I think its warranted. Big plus about this location (and responsible for one of the stars in my review) is that they do have filteted ice and water free to customers while shopping. Also, they will slice any cheese you purchase in packages in the deli. Heading to another store for the meat I came for.... Sigh.

Use to shop (here) until I moved last year my experince with W.F. in general has always been a hit or miss nearly any W.F. Id shopped at! Some of their produce will at times hardly last more than a few days depending on what you get. Meat or other products have always caused them entirely to be Food Nazis. for not even selling local products they had at least some recalls from the B.A. News in the last 3 yrs. Just remember what you buy over there is what you get. The return policies arent always fair for what you can get back for store credit either. Anyone whose a long time loyal or current customer can tell you this.

Tons of selection. Check out out! Salad bar. Sushi, tea and beer varieties. Great fruitand veggies; just ask the staff and the will point you to the most delicious produce. There are kombucha selections Ive never heard of (and Ive been drinking the stuff for no joke like over a decade!) Indoor and outdoor cozy places to eat. Awesomely friendly staff and a full bar too! Nice bar tender too :) Itss almost like a cafeteria really. And not crowded in my experience: I recommend checking online via Google... Should be plenty of room anyway...

A bit overpriced, but generally good quality food. I got a vegan donut and some deli food. The deli is the best, with all kinds of variety. I got me some Indian food and orange juice to go with my vegan blueberry donut. There is even a wine and craft beer bar now. The seating area is clean and is in the front where you can watch all the freaks, I mean customers walk by. They get only four stars because the check out people have ab arrogance about them and they are overpriced, and do not support labeling of food.

Not a fan of the location, getting there can be a pain and so can parking. Its a nice store and very big. They have great produce and meat selection. They also have some beers on tap at the bar up front. The employees are kind of rude, which is weird to me because all the other stores Ive been to everyone is so nice. The only reason I go is for certain cuts of meat because I havent found a place better. When I do I will stop putting myself through that.

I shop at San Jose location quite often because of proximity to my home. Unfortunately it is not as good as the other ones. A lot of times I cannot have what I would like because it is simply not there. Lots of organic red meats are not available. The hot food bar is terrible quality: burnt or under-cooked, floating in excess oil, and the use of canola oil in most dishes is disgusting because it is really bad for your heart. High staff turn over rate.

Ive been here a few times because of the many choices of the buffet. This is one of the larger locations in San Jose but its nicely located in Blossom Hill off of 85. Parking could be challenging during the weekends because theres not much parking lots. The eating area is really big and theres a station to wash your hands and get some water. The tables here are really clean and the employees do a great job making this a priority.

The best thing about this place is that it has a bar so you can drink while other people shop. Its ok as a whole foods, but has a much lower quality selection on beer than Almaden or Mountain View. 4 stars if other people are shopping, 2 if you are shopping and like beer or fish (fish selection is BS, likely for the same reason in this locality). But, cant be beat if someone else dragged you here.

Their roasted ready chicken is AWESOME! Their produce is fresh & clean. They have a huge variety of nuts & dried fruit. I love the deli! This particular location isnt as bug as the one in Los Gatos but its awesome! In a pretty area than Los Gatos. Love the open parking thats just meant for Whole Foods Market! They have a pretty decent selection of breads also.

Great products, healthy and earth friendly and NOW closer to me. I would give this store five stars if it wasnt so expensive. Although some products, like milk and butter are cheaper than most chain stores. Now that they have such a huge following I think they can start lowering prices on other items. Please!!! Thank goodness for their coupons and store sales!

This is my favorite location ever. So clean, smells nice, people are great. Bakery department is the best ever, anywhere, including actual stand alone bakeries. We have a few Celiacs in our family. So, weve tried every gluten free bakery from L.A. to Sacramento. We always come back here for taste, quality, and the most reasonable prices.

In true Whole Foods fashion, they are pricey. However, the produce quality is top notch and they always have a wide variety of products in the store. I especially enjoy the bar they added here. Yes, its in a grocery store, but they have done a good job separating it from the rest of the store in case you want to enjoy a snack and a drink.

This is a full-service store, including a Tap Room. This location has a lot of good features and good products. The service is usually great in all departments including produce and the check out . The only negative thing I would say, and this is kind of a big deal, a couple of times I bought sausage here and it was so salty

This whole foods has the best selection of flower arrangements and a lot more stuffs than other stores as its big. I ordered a juice with beets for me & my sister and both of us puked right after. The juice staff need to learn how to sanitize & handle fruit & veggie more mindfully. They are clearly not happy with what they are doing.

First and last time buying sandwiches!! Thought they would be good!! They were the worst sandwiches I have ever eaten!! I could have made a better sandwich. They need to improve on the falvors, for the price they charge. They dont even put pickles or onions, and they charge that much.. Im appauled!!
