This store used to have an awsome Bakery now it sucks. It went downhill in the course of about two years. Back about two years it was the best place to get baked goods in town now safeway has a far superior bakery. If the cashier is a man odds are he is a total ass or an oblivious stoner. They often forget to remove the sale tags on sale items when the sale ends. So check your recipt befor you walk out of the store. If you happen to notice while your being rand up the cashier will most likely scowl at you as if its your fault. Those are all the faults. The meat department has the best selection of stakes.

Been shopping at Nob Hill for years, since the old store in Morgan Hill. I found NobHill to be friendly and helpful. Except today, when I was in the meat department in Gilroy. The butcher with the beard and beanie was most unhelpful and unfriendly. How disappointing. We asked if there was any chicken thighs. His answer was cold, he said, no, just this one choice and blamed the manager for not ordering. We did find other thighs in another part of the case on our own. He ran off to the back in a haste. Luckily the lady checker was very friendly and saved our decision not to shop elsewhere.

Snob hill! This is where the rich assholes of Gilroy shop. Never have I seen so many lazy idiots get help to there car. And Im not talking about old folks. There was this one young cat who helped me on the soda isle, but other than him, deauchebags everywhere. Even with a nob Hill rewards card, count on items being at least two dollars more than Safeway. I only go here out of necessity.

Although my husband likes shopping at Safeway, I prefer Nobhill! Safeway seems to have lower prices but it is so cramped and dark. There usually is a long line when I go there. At Nobhill the space between checkout and the store displays is plentiful. With the great lighting and spaciousness they have, my shopping experience is more pleasant.

Excellent, except the Checker stood and complained to the bag boy about inexperienced other bag boy the whole time she checked us out. She never once acknowledge us. Just complaied the whole time. She obviously thought she knew everything as she said she had 15 years experience. #925078. Otherwise, your grocery store is wonderful

What can I say ... LOVE IT ! Special orders are handled efficiently. ANY difficulty is immediately address and resolved (only a few in almost 15 years). BEST place in Gilroy to get the best veggies and meats. Wonderful people, always a pleasure to shop there.

Really clean and full service. Prices are a little high compared to other grocery but you get it back in high quality goods and services, such as mail and bank, plus many types of peanut butter. Good place to shop.
