I was a regular customer until today. This place has horrible customer service, most of the employees are rude, but since this is the only place close to my home I continued to shop there. A lot of items are labeled at a price but when the cashier scans them, they are about $1 more. Today I purchased an item that was scanned for $1 more than it was on the label, so when I told the cashier she entered the right amount manually. However, as soon as I exit I realized that she never removed the item after she scanned it and she charged me twice for the item. I turned right back to tell them what happen and they said they closed and didnt open the door for me. The manager refused to let me in even though she knew I was there a few seconds before, and I explained them what happened and they turned their backs at me. They know I visit this place several times a week and I spend money there. They ripped me off but they lost me as a customer

They are overpriced even for non organic products. Their customer service had improved but they arent even halfway to considered so so good. For fruits and vegetables I prefer to wait until Sunday morning and shop at the farmers market also in the neighborhood. The manager in this store is cold, unfriendly, with zero customer service skills, never greet his customers and he is very arrogant. For some reason, the cashiers now started looking at you now when you check out and saying a very shy "have a nice day". Most of the staff arent friendly and have no idea of what community means. I had never ever seem a customer there having a conversation with staff. Because they are the only "organic" store in the neighborhood they believe business is doing good however if the owner could think big they could be much better.

This market was my savior, of sorts. There I was, in the middle of Queens, in need of some good, organic produce for dinner, but finding only "normal," non-organic groceries -- until I spied Downtown Natural Market. There, my losing streak ended as I was met by an array of quality organic goods, including foods and drinks and frozen fare, and even a surprisingly complete supplement section, all crammed comfortably into an NYC-sized facility (with a bathroom, even!). In the end, I got my sought dinner fixins and proceeded to be checked out by a cool and friendly cashier, without issue. Then, satisfied, I was on my way. Good stuff. Big thanks to all the fine folks of this store. You are greatly appreciated :)

Good products. Every neighborhood needs a place like this. The only downside are the cashiers. What is up with these women? They look miserable. They dont smile. They seem very unwelcoming. Pms, menopause, not enough bed time from their husbands? Please get male cashiers. They dont suffer from hormonal issues. Its because of them I gave a low rating.

Great selections. Fresh produce is usually on its way to going bad and the associates usually over charge me for fruits. Ive tried communicating with them but they didnt understand my English so I now avoid their by-the-pound goods. I appreciate their fair trade/all natural/environmental packaged goods though!

Lack of customer service. If you need help you have to go and look for somebody and then it is like you are bothering them. Overpriced and the selection could be better. I will not go back there no rather go to Wholefoods which has much better selection, prices and most importantly customer service.

This is a great store! I come daily daily to do my grocery shopping. There is a lot of organic selections. They recently opened a new one in 287 Broadway Brooklyn right next to my job.

They have an abundance of packaged and bulk items and enough sales to keep you happy. Theres lots of organic fresh veggies and fruits too. Large natural foods market.

Great customer service.They sell a wide variety of organic products. Im also vegan and my boyfriend is vegetarian this is where we buy our organic produce.
