I agree with what everyone else says here. This place is just horrible, the biggest issue is that everything is so overpriced and the quality is not very good. You go in there for a couple of basic things and wind up spending $50 for nothing. I never see anyone doing any kind of major stocking up at this place. They have a "homemade" virginia ham at the deli that, unless a ham is perfectly square, is obviously a canned ham with a pineapple on top. And everything premade at that counter is horrible. They have the baked chicken quarters and macaroni and cheese that they sell on the side that just make you want to gag. I have no idea who eats this stuff. One of the things I find most annoying is that they rotate their stock. You will go in there to buy something and all of the sudden they will no longer stock it for a few weeks. Then all of the sudden they will start carrying it again a couple of months later. I have lived in this neighborhood all my life and Key Food has not changed one bit in 30 years. Every other store you go to tries to modernize and offer better products, but not here. Theyll just go and put something new in the corner and be like "thats enough". The selection is just horrible. Ever go to Pathmark by the BQE? Well when Fairway opened they knew people had a new option in the area, so they started to sell better products and more organic and fresh stuff. Key Food will never do that. Its always full at the beginning of the month when the old people get their checks in the mail, so why bother. The problem is that the neighborhood is extremely residential and they will never have any competition around here. I mean where can you build a supermarket in this area? So they just charge as much as they want for bad products because they know you have no where else to go unless youre willing to drive to Pathmark by the expressway, Foodtown on McDonald Ave. or Fairway in Red Hook.

They came back into the neighborhood after being out for a few years. Now its much improved and with a new pharmacy (CVS) partnership. The product/produce selections have improved and parking is now available. From the perspective of a 35 years local native. Its definitely a very welcome establishment. The pricing still remains like any other "Key Food". Which is also much appreciated. Its like a hidden gem tucked away in a quiet residential (Park Slope) neighborhood.

Just dont even bother going there - its terrible. Whoever manages that place should be removed from his/her position and replaced. Try all else before resorting to this grocery store. The COOP on Church St. is excellent. The Food Town on Caton Ave is much better too. BEWARE THIS PLACE!!!!!!

Everything is overpriced and the selection is very small. It hurts to shell out five and a half bucks for cereal and I wish there was another option in the Windsor Terrace area. And for some reason Google wont let me give it fewer than five stars.

Incredibly overpriced and outdated, staff is pretty rude as well with the exception of a few. I go in there to get basic paper goods and walk out with $50 bill regularly. Ouch! HATE IT!!! Go to Fairway or Trader Joes if possible.

Good variety of inexpensive to higher quality foods. Prices are reasonable and there are some good sales. Aisles are quite narrow which can make the store hard to navigate. Always a lot of cashiers which makes checkout quick.

This market is basically key food but smaller, because walgreens invaded, but their wide selection of foods, like Whole Foods, makes up for it. You can find sushi and pastas there, and the local produce is trustworthy.

While small and can sometimes sellout of an item, the staff is super helpful and will go to great lengths to help. If they sellout theyll often order it special for you for the next delivery if you let them know.

Not always said out well, but produce is fresh and almost everything you might need is here - huge advantage compared to tiny groceries throughout the rest of the area.
