I just left this market completely turned off! I ordered the 2 egg platter with eggs over medium, beef sausage and hash browns. When i receieved my order the person at the counter and gave me a side of hash browns. I asked him why did he give me homefries and hashbrowns, the menu said either or and I selected hashbrowns. I figured it was a honest mistake but I didnt want to be charged for that mistake. The person took the container of food back, opened it, removed my eggs over medium and beef sausage with his barehands and placed it in another container. The yoke broke and the eggs were now destroyed and smashed in the corner of the container. I was completely grossed out by the fact that he didnt have on gloves and was cross contaminating food. He then made someones sandwich without washing his hands. I checked the hands of the others behind the counter and they had on gloves! After he handed the container over to me, I proceeded to the counter...hungry as hell...but not hungry enough to ingest germs or bacteria! I handed it over to the cashier and told him that I can not pay for the food and told him what had happened. I walked home...sad...breakfastless....and now I am eating oatmeal.

Ordered 2 roast beef hero with American cheese mayo lettuce and tomatoes. Warm the meat and do not toast the bread. Called the store direct for delivery and when I got it. A mess. Called back spoke to Sal who promised to credit me on 7-3-17 which was fine with me so I called back the next day 7-4--17 ask for Sal someone by the name AJ stated Sal is not in today. I asked him to check my order I made yesterday so he can have a clear view. Told him the entire story and he said he cant help me so I ask for a manager who can better assit me. AJ had the nerve to say no managers are on today only employee due to the holiday. I then ask in case of an emergency whos in charge he told me no one. He would call the police. SMH terrible business. Bad Customer service. I order frequently. I also will report this to PLG. .

Good food but horrible business practices. This was going to be my after workout spot but unfortunately that wont be the case. They manually put higher sales taxes in their register to overcharge people. So beware. My meal was was 10 bucks, why would you charge almost 2 dollars extra in taxes and not expect someone to say something? As working FOH with business over 10 years I can calculate sales taxes in my head so you you retorting you provide good food when I mention that, is an insult to my intelligence. Either fix this or I will be reporting you to consumer affairs.

If you absolutely need something that you cant find anywhere else --go here-- but watch the cashiers closely. The first time I noticed something amiss I was home and checked my receipt to see I had been overcharged $10 on $22 of food. Ive shopped there 3 times since and twice Ive caught something wrong at the register -- once overcharging and once forgetting to give me $6 back in change. When I mentioned the discrepancy at the register things were sorted out but I have a hard time calling 3/4 times a coincidence. How do I avoid this? By running across the street to OEG.

This store has practically everything you need for a wholesome way of eating! I was able to find grain less granola for Petes sake for our paleo palate! They had a variety of non dairy milk and fresh vegetables including ripened avocados! They also have a delicious deli with many cold and hot food options! Its a tad bit small but so clean and so organized it works for me when I need to grab a few staple items and go!

Just an average overpriced independent semi-deli store. Wide variety of snacks and insufficient amount of healthier kinds of food. Compared to Whole Foods Market (typically, an expensive store), you may find some items priced twofold at Wholesome. Its ridiculous, yet the staff is nice and the store is clean and trustworthy.

Great spot to grab a picnic lunch before hitting the park, also my go-to late night post-bar hopping snack spot since its open super late. The prepared foods are delicious and their selection of snacks is awesome. Its very pricey though so I would personally never do any grocery shopping here.

Best local deli in the neighborhood with good sandwiches, salads, chicken fingers and more. It also is a small convenience store although some items are a little over priced. Not highly recommended for breakfast since they dont sell real Bacon so you cant get a proper Bacon Egg & Cheese.

Wholesome Gourmet is way too fancy, and is a harbinger of all the negative things I hope not to see around PLG. Having said that, they are open ALL the time, and have a sick mustard selection. Everythings super expensive, but the mustard is very fairly priced.

I ordered grilled chicken on a whole wheat wrap, instead I got grilled chicken with a grilled BUG (cricket to be exact) on a whole wheat wrap!!! When I took my order back they pretended as if there was nothing wrong with the bug wrap!

Broad selection of healthy and/or trendy foods and snacks. Nice salad bar, good selection of prepared to order sandwiches. Prepared products at often pricy, but thats to be expected at a gourmet store open 24 hours a day.

This place is alright if youre gonna walk in, but ordering from there never turns out well. They do have a good selection of organic juices and healthier snacks, but sometimes their ice cream is freezer burnt.

In terms of the take out/ delivery, quality is very reliable and sometimes surprisingly good and delivered quickly. The chicken tenders with fries is perfect. The grocery on the other hand, is overpriced.

They are disgusting. Eating in front of customers. Vacuuming the rug & dust flying everywhere. Condensation dripping on the cakes. All in one visit. They all need to get fired.

Nice store, clean cool staff, but when comes down of cooking eggs are eggs but home fries!nahhh also make you own salsa. Other than the cooked staff the place is very good
