I am a new patient of the Tayani Institute and I am a little frustrated with how long it is taking to get a pair of glasses. I set up an appointment at their Irvine office to get an eye exam and buy a pair of glasses. I went to the 1st appointment but no one told me when I set up my appointment that they do not have all the equipment needed to complete a full eye exam at that location. I was informed at the end of my appointment that I needed to come back a second time (which means another copay w/ a specialist) to complete my eye exam. At that visit I was also told they did not have anyone available to "make" my glasses. I then set up a second appointment the following week at the Mission Viejo location and when I arrived I was asked to pay a second copay and that they could finish my eye exam but again no one was there to "make" my glasses. I decided to leave because I thought it would have been silly to pay 2 different copays and in turn still not have any glasses. I was told when I set up the 2nd appointment that I would receive a phone call if the person "making" the glasses was not available that day but no one called me so I figured everything was all set. I made a third appointment for next week so hopefully they can finally finish my eye exam and provide me with a pair of glasses at a reasonable price.

Recently Dr. Tayani performed elective eye lid surgery on both eyes that resulted in tremendous improvement. I felt more confident interacting with others. Naturally I believed that I was too old, too vain and just acting inappropriately for my age of 72. After meeting with him for a consult a sense of calm quickly occurred. Dr. Tayani reassured me that this is not an abnormal procedure. Physically I was indeed a candidate due to the severe genetic bags under both eyes. I hated it so much. I walked around with my chin lifted so high that I bumped into things thinking that no one would notice my eye bags. How silly is that? He is a fantastic professional surgeon. Eyes turned out great. FYI- the procedure was very reasonable as well. Dr. Tayani is a wonderful person. He is so kind and gentle. He reminds me of a giant teddy bear. Dont hesitate to consult with him about any issues that concern you. I am so thrilled that my age did not prevent the procedure. Go for it. You wont regret it!

The Tayani Institute Is Excellent. All their physicians are absolutely first class. Dr.T. is especially professional but is also a great guy. The same is true of Dr. Martinez. All the other physicians are excellent too. Additionally, the staff is not only helpful but actually cheerful. Nobody is cheerful these days but they are. I talked to the staff about why that is the case and it happens they actually like each other and even do things together away from work. I never mind going to the Tayani Institute. Lets face it if you have to go to an INSTITUTION let it be theirs! Thanks Gang! Keep up the good work and attitudes. Lance Schmidt

Ive been going to the Doctors at Tayani, for over 20 years now, and wouldnt trust my eyes with anyone else. Ive had regular checkups, and have been following Dr. Ngs advice for the care of my eyes. I was near-sighted for many years, and wore contacts or used glasses for most of that time. Over time my eyes self-corrected and I only need glasses for reading now. A couple of years ago. Dr. Tayani did cataract lens replacement surgery on both my eyes, and I see better than ever now.

Had an issue with my eyes and was recommended to Tatami Institute. I was fortunate to be seen by Dr. Eng. She made a quick diagnosis and prescribed some medication which took care of my condition immediately. Dr. Eng was not only caring, but also very engaged in describing what was causing my issue. I could see that not only was she an excellent doctor, but someone that truly cares about her patients. I STRONGLY recommend Tayani Institute and especially Dr. Eng.

Dr. Moina made a very thorough examination of my eyes. She updated my prescription for glasses. She tested my eyes for glaucoma. She discovered some scarring in my eye and the ongoing development of cataracts. And, she referred me to one of Tayanis ophthalmologists. She was very pleasant as were the physical surroundings of the Tayani Institute. Art Zuniga helped me choose eye glasses from a very large selection. He was very helpful.

I have been a long time patient of Tayani Eye and have had nothing less than a great experience. My cataract surgeries went perfect! My first visit to my post-ops went seamlessly. I do have to say the wait was a bit long but, it was worth the wait. Dr.Joson is a great surgeon and I would recommend him and his staff to all my friends and family.

Dr.Tayani was awesome! I had a motorcycle accident a few months back and Dr.Tayani was the doctor that saw me at the hospital. He kept telling me I would be ok after I busted my eye and I believed him. A few surgeries later I am back on my bike and look back to normal. Thank you!
