Was there to pick up an antibiotic that had been sent in 5 hours prior. They informed me that they dont prep medication till the next day because they do not expect their patients to pick up their prescriptions the same day and that I would have to wait another 20 minutes for my script. All while another two employees were in the back laughing and talking. They very well could have been prepping prescriptions especially ones that were sent in hours before. I took off time in my work day to see a Dr for problems I was having, left work and was on way to school when I went to pick up the script after waiting five hours to pick it up, which would have been more than enough time to have it ready. Im not happy with the service here. The pharmacist tech claims this is a corporate rule, but I have never once seen or experienced this rule. I have used many other pharmacies and another Publix prior to moving here and Ive never had this issue. Ive come to the conclusion that theyre just not checking their faxed and escripted prescriptions as much as they should be. Its quite sad that the patients and their medical issues such as an infection are not being treated as soon as they should be.

Love the friendly staff at Publix and its so convenient. I can find ANYTHING I need there and quality is always top notch.
