I would definitely not recommend this optometrist. When I called to make the appointment, the receptionist could barely speak passable English and had difficulty getting my name and details down. On the Saturday before my appointment I got a voicemail just before they closed, telling me that they could not find my insurance information. Obviously when I called back it was after closing so I left a return message. Monday 1630 was my appointment. No call came before 1400 so I called again. Turns out that the original receptionist completely messed up my name and personal details. SSN numbers in the wrong order, last name spelt wrong etc. This second receptionist actually had the sense to apologize for not calling back. Finally at the appointment itself, I was rushed straight into the pre-test without filling paperwork. Could not have been more obvious that they wanted to get things over with a.s.a.p. The optometrist came in; Dr.Meghdadi. Within 30 secs, she told me that I would need 2-3 contact appointments to check if I was suitable for contacts and to determine my prescription. Without even asking if I already wore contacts frequently, if they give me irritation or anything. Talk about guaranteeing future appointments and $$$. The eye exam was one of the shortest I have ever had, especially for a first time patient, 15 mins at the outside. No real care was taken. Indeed she managed to jab my right eyeball with one of their machines. Finally I was lead back outside to fill in paperwork and before I could blink she was gone. Cost of eye exam: $125 Costco: $50. You guys can do the math for yourselves.

Too often negative reviews are posted, but when we have a great experience we dont think to give proper credit. I just had my 2nd annual eye exam with Dr. Meghdadi. The cheerful, very pleasant attitudes of Dr. Meghdadi and her staff are very refreshing. I was promptly brought in to the exam area after arriving, finished the pretesting and then very soon after that Dr. Meghdadi came in. She is very thorough, informs the patient what she is going to do and then discusses her findings. She answers questions and spends the time needed to help you understand - and you never feel rushed. Then I went to choose eyeglass frames - and that was a pleasant experience as well. I was not rushed at all and received valuable input regarding everything I tried on. I called later in the day to let the staff know which frames I had decided on and I spoke with another staff member who was just as pleasant as all of the others. I am truly impressed by the pleasant demeanor of all who work in this office. It is a very well-run office and Dr. Meghdadi is great. If you are looking for someone to see for your eye health - I would definitely recommend Dr. Meghdadi and her staff at RSM Optometry.

I saw Dr. Smith this last week and thought for sure my eyes were in seriously bad shape. After spending time with Dr. Smith, he was so thorough, timely, so knowledgeable, yet very patient, kind and understanding with the questions I had for him. He was spot on with the new lenses I needed and he made it all seem just so easy. His staff was just as exceptional. Kind, pleasant and very welcoming! Given the appt. was at 5pm, when everyones day is done, the staff was still going strong, very positive and happy. The entire experience was so refreshing. I will be bringing my entire family to Dr. Smith! One and done as they say!

For more than 20 years I have seen Dr. Steven Smith and his staff for my eye care. They have been very professional and friendly, and helped even in difficult situations. The "new" (for quite a some years already) location is more tricky to find, but the office has more space, is super clean. Also you find a very good selection of frames there. I do recommend the doctors office to friends and people in the RSM area. P.S. there is no one in that office that does not speak good English. That customer must have received a wrong connection.

I have always been very satisfied with them and they have given me great service. The office is very neat and clean, the staff friendly and considerate. I highly recommend RSM Optometry for anyone in need of eye care.

We have been using this office for many years for the entire family of 5. They were OK before. However, since 2008, their services is really bad, rather to focus on the patient care, they are focus on revenue - getting as much money from patient/insurance as possible. We no longer comeback to this office and I do not recommend anyone to use.
