Faces in the dark tattoos...... These guys are absolutely amazing! Walking in the first time I automatically felt like I belonged there. Becca welcomed us in we quickly felt like we belonged there. Tye Harris is wonderful he did a black and grey rose with music notes on my shoulder it is just beautiful. Hes nothing short of fabulous. He most definitely knows what he is doing! He sings to the music, crack jokes every now and then, the workshop is always clean. The second time I went in Juan Perez another amazing gentlemen I asked for flowers he drew me something my style and it was perfect he knows what he is doing as well talkative,funny,singing I had another tattoo that I got from another tattoo shop (Platinum Ink)but after looking at if for a couple of weeks I didnt rally like it so I went back to Faces in the dark Juan Perez a wonderful job covering up my feather without a problem! Mike Flores another guy who does tats there is great as well. I watch him at times and I have seen some of his work absolutely amazing! I am a customer service freak they go above and beyond excellent customer service. I highly recommend this place for all of your tattoo needs.I know if you go your going to feel like family the instant you go inside. Prices are reasonable. You can never put a price on professionalism,safety, cleanliness, Faces in dark team make sure you are comfortable water, cokes etc. I would like thank them all! When I get another one I know exactly where I am going! There are other artists in the shop one day Ill get the pleasure of having a tattoo done by another member of the team.Thanks Faces in the Dark tattoos you guys totally rock

So many positive things to say about the whole experience! First off Mike Flores is extremely talented and just so very creative! A tattoo is a big investment and trust me, you want it done right the first time! I made the mistake by getting it done by the wrong person and was in desperate need of help! Before I came to the shop, I had recently gotten a tattoo by someone that I knew and who did my very first tattoo 6 years ago. I thought he was going to do a great job, but he butchered the hell out of my tattoo. Needless to say I was extremely unhappy and bothered with the way it came out. I went to many tattoo shops to get their opinions on cover up options and pricing, some were just plain rude and others just didnt want to mess with a cover up. Then I stumbled upon Faces in The Dark on the back of a newspaper at work, what luck right! So I stop in their shop to chit chat about fixing my tattoo. Let me tell you this place is just GORGEOUS! Absolutely the most beautiful tattoo shop that I visited and I visited many throughout Austin and San Marcos. You must check out the BLACK toilet, it will blow your mind! Everyone there was extremely friendly and the environment was welcoming. Mike was a great listener and really threw in some awesome ideas! He really made me feel comfortable and kept making sure I was okay during the process. He did an awesome job, and I wouldnt go anywhere else for another tattoo! Our next session will be to add white decals to the face and a flower to finish the cover up, Ill post more photos once fully complete!

Okay so I do a tremendous amount of research when it comes to tattoo artists, a tattoo is LITERALLY the only thing you have say in taking to the grave with you! That being said a few years back I found a whole bunch of incredibly talented artists I was interested in through instagram and WHAT A COINCIDENCE THEY ALL STARTED WORKING AT THE SAME SHOP TOGETHER! CRAZY! All of these artist are absolutely out of this world, usually every shop has at least one sub par employee but not Faces In the dark! Even the apprentice is INCREDIBLE OMG (I even hate calling her an apprentice because shes THAT GOOD!!!) Theyre all masters at what they do! I had an appointment with her (Aleah) for a realistic rose tattoo and boy, did she deliver! Not to mention shes gorgeous and so freaking sweet! Can wait for my appointment with Tye in May!!!! If youre looking for a shop, look no further, theres an artist here for you!!!!

I got my tattoo yesterday from Tye at Faces In The Dark Tattoo and I have zero complaints. The staff is super cool and friendly and make you feel like you are welcome. Tye did an amazing job on my tattoo and is a fun guy to hang out with during the process. The other artists in the shop would conversate and make you feel at home as well. The shop is kept very clean and sanitary. They have great music playing and tv shows on the walls to help keep your mind off the pain if you so choose. They offer soda and water to drink and have a comfortable lounge area to sit in. After getting my tattoo here, I cant imagine getting one anywhere else. I highly recommend these guys, check them out!

Sorry its taken awhile to post this Tye Harris! (Im the guy with the Mike Devries back tattoo). Ive been getting tattooed for over ten years by some great artists and visited many different shops. I got tattooed by Aaron springs that day and my experience was awesome. Secretary was very friendly and attended to me right away. Shop was super clean and Tye was a great host and made me feel comfortable. Thanks for the hospitality and coffee! To me this is how a shop should be like! Will be back at this shop for sure. This shop has super talented artists and top notch black and grey artists!

Going into the shop you are greeted and instantly feel at home. I got my tattoo done by Tye Harris and couldnt be happier with it! Tye exceeded what I had envisioned and that right there is a true artist. My tattoo was inspired by a Seether Album and Tye played it over the loud speakers making it that much cooler. All of Faces In The Dark artists and staff were friendly and I could tell they genuinely love what they do. I cant wait to get more ink from them! No other place comes close, if I could give more stars I would. Thanks guys!

This is one of the most professional and cleanest shops Ive gotten tattooed at. Ive been working on getting a full sleeve here by artist Andrès Acosta. Hes amazing, but the entire crew here has a great vibe and I was very comfortable for all of my three, four hour sessions! Would highly recommend getting your tattoo work done here definitely worth the wait and price, but it is kind of in the middle of nowhere, Kyle TX which is only 30 minutes south of downtown Austin! Very excited to finish my sleeve here.

Juan is an exceptional artist!! My piece plus his artistic ability yielded a tattoo that even my mom loved! You can trust all the artist to put the very best ink on you and you will love the outcome. I am going back to Juan in a few days for another tattoo. If you want great ink and fair honest artist that are worth their weight in gold, you need to stop by and talk with these incredible artists.
