We purchased some "Embellish your Life" items - spent around $600 on them - and asked to return some that we purchased from the store floor after choosing the ones we wanted to keep. We were told that they were ALL special order items, which was not true, and were not allowed to return any of them. We took the issue to the BBB and the owners still insisted that ALL items were special order. We will no longer be shopping at ANY Turner Ace Hardware. We strongly urge Jacksonville customers to find another Ace hardware. I recommend Proctor Ace as they are larger, cleaner, and have a better selection, AND have informed me that they actually take returns on special order items, according to the cashier.

Bought a wood splitting axe from these guys and took it home to split some logs for firewood. I split three logs with the thing and then it snapped in two. I was very upset. I took it back to the store and the manager showed me on the axe handle a major dent where I had hit the wood I was trying to split, which caused the axe to break. I had thought the axe was defective but it turns out it was operator error. The manager still let me switch out the axe for a composite handled one even though the reason the tool broke was my fault. That is customer service right there! Thanks guys!

I was at this location today getting my tank refilled and there was a stock boy working and the owner came out and started yelling at him. cussing him up in down calling him an idiot. As i heard what was going on i turned right on around and left never to com back. I alredy notified corporate over my experience with this ace and i know i will never come back

Ordered a deluxe tulip arrangement and they delivered a standard. I only found out b/c my wife happened to bring them home from work. To make matters worse they had the gall to try to tell me I had to take the flowers back to get a refund. "Excuse me honey, let me have your flowers. I have to take them back now because the florist cheated me."

Step back Home Dumb-po and Lousy! This Ace has every thing you do not. Plus more. There is always someone ready to help you at this store and if it is not there the manager will order it for you. The people that work at this ACE are not just there for a check they truly are real people who care. Oh!!! and everyone here speaks english too!!

-1 star the owner and the employees seem to hate working. They are the most mean rude people. Im very sad that I spent as much money there over the years. Every visit I leave wishing I drove to another store. I finally get it dont go there if you dont want a bad experience. This ace is the place for a huge let down

Sucks. Walked in to buy string for my trimmer. The trimmer string was easy to find, but locked so I couldnt pull it off the rack. I walked around for about five minutes looking for someone to help me and had no luck. Welcome to the ghetto where even trimmer string needs to be locked.

Over the years of shopping here, I have found they have a large selection of products, many hard to find. Large selection of plumbing, pvc, and electrical with useable advice. Prices are very competive with the big box stores.Personal service, wide selection and price.

Very helpful staff and always available. Even the cashier was helpful. They really enjoy their work. Couldnt ask for better customer service.Tired of ghost town big box stores with no one there to answer questions? Then Turner Ace is your place. Very nice store.

I needed a key to my strongbox as I had lost mine during a move. Jerry H was very pleasant and patiently tried every key he could until one finally fit. Then it was just a matter of making copies. Jerry H. and the store definitely deserve a 5 rating.
