I am in the Real Estate Business and The employees are friendly but I am buying paint listening to the paint mixer flirt and talk improperly to a female customer . I try to get questions answered about the paint the sell but he is too interested in flirting with the other customer. I finally get my paint which I have never bought there before , We tried to buy other items but they were low or out of inventory. I live near this place for years and have tried to buy here but they always frustrate me. The paint I purchased was off a shade and terrible . After three strokes it still didnt cover , Royal was the brand horrible quality . It looked like something was wrong with it and it was streaky . I tried to take it back but the manager was more concerned with not taking backed mixed paint then my concerns . It was only 1 gallon of paint and I expected better from a local business, What happened to being happy with the quality of the product . I drove a bit more and bought from Home Depot . You try to help a local business but they are more concerned with something the cant resell then trying to build a good customer . They gave out chicken and popcorn to the customers but I would have preferred store credit. I gave them back the paint and I expect to see it on the discount rack. A few dollars lost them $1000s I can promise you that. Finished trying to take the short trip to help a local business .

This is the best hardware store with the most knowledgable and helpful staff in the city. I prefer it to the big box stores for many reasons, foremost they tend to only stock the best of any given product, so rather then wasting time choosing among dozens of options at Lowes, I just come here and trust that what they stock is probably the best of what I need, and theyre always willing to explain everything.

I frequent this store often and today I just didnt have a good experience. Normally friendly cashiers today the cashier Shabba didnt greet me as I approached the register . Maybe because I had interrupted her conversation on the phone.. Very sarcastic when I asked her a simple question.. Not to mention the unprofessional long pink nails and those hideous eyelashes.. I will wait a while before I return..

What a nice and informative bunch of people at this store. I could drive another 10 minutes to save a couple of bucks at one of the big boy stores however the value and customer service cant be beat. Special thanks to Larry for all his help. Way to go guys, Ill be back !

Ace on University Blvd. west. has the very best nursery and Jim that works there is the best in Jacksonville on helping you find what will work the best for your yard... outstanding place to go regarding finding really above average plants ....

tomato plants are cheaper than big box stores like lowes n home depot. But found alaska fertilizer to be $2.49 higher than everyone. 32oz $7.49 @lowes, $9.99 @Ace. So be careful on prices. Do your homework. Alot of their prices are higher
