Worst customer service in the North Florida market. Their cabinet department is a waste of space. Chris is a nice guy and tries hard but sells a terrible product (American Woodmark) The product itself is terrible, same quality as the in stock cabinet at 5x the cost. When there was an issue, Chris and Ryan the store manager were worthless and honestly dont seem to care. They cant fix any issue or choose not to action which could potentially resolve an issue. 3 of the 12 cabinets we waited 2 months for were wrong and delivered mis-manufactured. Chris says "dont worry about it, we can get it fixed after the install....WRONG. 5 business days later he comes back and says "oh wait that is a problem". Now I have to wait another 3 weeks, pay someone to un-install a wall of cabinets and then pay to have them re-installed. The store manager leaves by 3 so dont bother trying to find Ryan in the store, "he usually works 1/2 days on Friday...Nice leadership. The next best person is James. He just escalates the situation and provides no options or even hints at providing a resolution. He didnt feel like dealing with the situation at all so he snuck out the back (literally). HD corporate needs to a take a hard look at this store and their conflict resolution.

Purchased a LG Refrigerator and within 5 days had Frost build up in freezer. Called LG and they set an appt within 3 days. On the day of appt. LG cancels (Tech sick) they rescheduled for next day between 1 and 5. 12:30pm That day, I get another call from LG they cancelled (Tech still sick) Hard to belive.LG said it would be another 5 days before they could get anyone out ..They could care less..I found that unacceptable. I called Erik Holgersen at the Home DePot store Southside, where I purchased the frig and he was very helpful. He got right on the situation and followed up letting me know what was going on. He made arrangements to have A & E Factory Service Repair come on a Saturday vs the following week with LG, and that fixed the problem with the freezer frosting up. It appears the GE guys that delivered and installed the frig did not have the freezer drawer in correctly. So I want to say Thank You Erik, you are seriously about good customer service. Judy

We had an excellent recent experience dealing with the Southside Blvd. Home Depot Location. Previously we had went through one of their competitors on Phillips Highway for their door installation services and received sub-par customer service in terms of both the stores and their installers response time. We decided to give another commercial outlet, such as Home Depot a try. The service person Erv within the Mill-working and door installation services department went above and beyond to assist us. Good old fashion excellent customer service is what he delivered as well as the customer service front store section who finalized our check-out of our special ordered interior door. Thanks so much for making the experience for us a good one and not a frustrating ordeal:-)

I live very close and have shopped here a lot but today was the last stop for me. Ill drive a little further to Lowes in the future. Ive been here, to spend money, 3 times in 24 hours and each time the associates are RUDER than the time before. The final straw today was when I saw a Weber Charcoal grill clearly advertised at $99 but when I paid for it $149 rang up. I pointed it out to the cashier but was told that it was too late, Id have to take it to Customer Service for a refund. Customer Service? Is that supposed to be ironic? The girl at Customer Service rolled her eyes and essentially accused me of fraud saying that this was a different model even after I showed her where I got it. Never again will I spend my money here.

Flooring, US Install, Jennifer at HD: I called the 800# for HD. The Southside returned my call which was Jennifer. She states that she contacted US Install and they would be contacting me to schedule a time to install. Rapid install which is supposed to be taken care of within 7 days of purchase of the carpet. Its day 7 now and we havent heard from US install. I tell her we need a call to update us on a date, not necassarily important to be installed within 7 days just an update. Jennifer states shell give US Install A call and tell them "To step on it." Jennifer did not listen to my request, which was for an update from US Install. US Install has yet to contact me for a time and date. Do not use home depot for flooring.

First of all I usually go to the Fleming Island location with no problems. However at the Southside store, I went there to buy a Freezer and found the model I wanted on the floor. I was informed the store had none in stock, that I could go to any of the sister stores that each had 4-5 available. I did not have time to drive beach side or to orange park so I asked how much the floor model was. Only to be informed it wasnt for sale because, Then I wont have one to show. For what? To sell the models you dont have in stock!!!??? I left and bought one at Lowes no problems.

Keith and kristin in paint are amazing. They are a very fine examples of all around perfect customer service. They helped me every step of the way and were very friendly. They treated every customer with the best respect and service. They were showing children how the paint machines and were so cool. I own my own business and no what great leadership looks like and these two have it. They deserve every bit of recognition the company can give. They wanted nothing but to give the best customer service. I am giving 5 stars because of keith and kristin in paint.

TRASHY STORE TRASHY EMPLOYEES GARBAGE STORE MANAGER This Home Depot refuses to make online orders, they said that I have to pay $59.00 shipping fees even if I pick it up from the store. I spent over 45 min on the phone with customer care and they said that they tried to make an order with a store supervisor and the store supervisor refused to do it. NEEDLES TO SAY: TRASHY STORE TRASHY EMPLOYEES GARBAGE STORE MANAGER

I purchased a washing machine online. The price was 20% below everyone else & included delivery. Delivery was prompt and exceptional. Arrival, unpacking, installation and instructions in less than 10 minutes. Delivery guys were professional, respectful and considerate. Home Depot has earned my future appliance business. I wish they sold cars.

Weird policy: "where is Mister?" - my wife arranged for a sales person to consult and present what solutions home depot has on water filtering etc at our home but he walked out on my wife because I wasnt around. As per the policy he can only consult if "mister is there". Weirdest policy we came across, will not buy anything from home depot anymore.

Awesome staff, but this is a small version of Home Depot. Some of the materials are in constant disarray. Having sad that I still like the place and go there almost every other days. I would add this,, the home Depot Im talking about was the one in orange park in Oakleaf Plantation.
