Having H Mart so close is a gift! Some of their produce is cheaper than the Chinese and other Korean markets (my family shops at most of them). The aisles are quite narrow to save space for more stuff I guess, so be careful as youre wheeling a cart around. Fill out an application for a card membership to earn rewards and get special discounts on certain items. I love the food court -- if youre going on a Friday night, get there before 6pm otherwise you wont have a table. Theres a Koreanized Chinese food restaurant, Japanese fusion with hamburger patty sizzling plates, and So Gong Dong Tofu House with traditional Korean food. My brother ordered for the Japanese fusion place and enjoyed his plate, but he wished the portion was bigger. I went with pork bulgogi at SGD Tofu House and it was so good with pretty big portions.

In A Nutshell: -East Coast Korean grocery store H Mart (not to be confused w/ South Koreas infamous "e-mart") finally graces the Bay Area w/ its hangul presence. -I do wish the location was more central (its on the border of Cupertino, Saratoga, West San Jose). -Tons of fellow Koreans in attendance for the Grand Opening (4/5/17). -I dont see much inside to really point-out. -Small to mid-sized grocery store. -Small food court w/ three options: Korean, Japanese & Chinese food. -Checkout was surprisingly speedy, however, I would wait to judge this after the Grand Opening. Overall, for now I think I will continue to support local & shop at Super Kyopo!

The fruits, vegetables, and meat selection were decent quality, however, the way they organized and structured this market is terrible. If theyre going to open a large market that is high in demand, they shouldve thought about the parking issue. There are other businesses in that plaza and when you try to squeeze in a big market can result in several accidents. The food court was terrible. Way over priced for low quality. Dont be surprised if your chicken boolgogi is bland and lacks flavor. Ugggh waste of my time. Youre better off going to kukje market.

Pros: No need to go to 3 other Korean supermarkets. Cons: Ask where the product is from, I bet a lot of stuff came from CHINA. Even Fruits & Veggies are not from local farms cheap doesnt mean its all good. Watch out for the parking on the street you will get $63 fine for the street cleaning!!! Also, forget about shopping on the weekend, you will not have a space to move around with the cart. Crazy drivers in the small parking lot so you better watch out for the accidents!!!

Parking is a serious issue here, it is very tough to find a spot, people have to park at near by residential street. If you are able to park your car and get in, the store itself is pretty good, has a large selection of seafood, meat and produce. The location is very convenient for people living in Saratoga, much closer than other Asia food markets, with similar selections. The price maybe slightly cheaper too, but it could be due to grand opening promotions.

Very disappointing. The aisles are way too tightly packed that two carts cant pass by. Selection is decently diverse but not to the degree where Id go here weekly. Parking lot entrance is flawed as theres a severe bottleneck at the entrance. Theres no place for a line to form at checkout counters. Understand that they are trying to be the Wholefoods of Asian markets but over ambitious planning in a small space has caused everything to crumble.

This supermarket is modern and well maintained. They serve loads of Korean food, sauces and anything Korea related. I love their fresh meat section where they offer all kinds of Korean BBQ meat. Unfortunately they put MSG on the meat which is a shame. Since they use very little though you dont really notice it. It can get crowded here so rather dont take a cart but rather a basket.

The market had a wide variety of Asian and American products but they day we went (Monday around 1 pm) the shelves were somewhat empty. The food court offered 2 Korean and 1 Japanese fusion options. Seating felt limited and the whole store felt a little cramped. The seafood looked really good as well as the marinated and sliced meats. The shabu also looked very good.

Hmart carries a lot of merchandise but they are expensive in comparison to another Korean market I shop at which carries about the same items. They have a large parking lot but its shared with other businesses in the same plaza. I cant say how easy or difficult it is to find parking since I went there at 9pm on a Thursday (not exactly a busy time for a supermarket.)

Very clean and well organized. Their meat department is incredible, great selection and quality. Like kimchi? They got you covered, a whole section dedicated to it. Briefly walked the produce and seafood, both looked great. Food court was nice as well, not too crowded and the food was good. Definitely a great alternative to 99 market ranch.

Produce and meats are high quality. There is more parking in the back. Either follow the signs on Kentwood to "DeAnza/85 parking" or enter the lot on the right side of the store. Avoid the time around lunch time until the novelty of the grand opening wears off. Youll get fed up looking for parking AND having to wait in line to get in!

I was initially frustrated because of the lack of parking due to its opening, but I was very wrong. This market is amazing because of the variety of items they have as well as the food court. The food court is by far the most impressive part of the market because of the quality of the food. Im very happy that this space opened.

We always check out the Asian markets in the Bay Area, particularly if they have Korean items. This was our first visit to this market. We found it to have a decent selection, though the store felt cramped. Aisles seemed unusually close together. Store was well maintained and clean. Prices were average.

中午來內部韓國餐廳用餐順道採購,比較不會有找不到停車位的問題。賣場內部乾淨,肉品看起來很新鮮,有很多亞洲調味料和食材。

Clean and well arranged Korean supermarket. This place is better than any Asian supermarket in South Bay. Prepared foods and seafoods (sashimi!) are great. They have a small food court with quite good Korean foods. But its parking lot is crowded and corridor inside is very narrow two carts in a row.

Parking is difficult and the aisles inside the supermarket is too narrow. Other than the above, there are many selections of seafood, snacks, and produce. The food court inside the market offers sushi and Korean food. You may get some discounts if you use their loyalty card.

They had 4$ for 4lb of grapes. Grapes were good quality last week (7/3/17) but the following week it was not as good. Probably from the same batch. They sell whole sale Korean BBQ meat cuts by the pound. Cuts look good and could be worth buying to bring home for at home kbbq.

Great Korean super market, many options of fresh produce. It is a little crowded in there because the aisles are narrow and they put display items in the middle of the aisle. There is a food court, but the food in the photos do not look anything like reality.

Glad its here. But too small compare to other Korean markets, prices arent that impressive especially those side dishes and broth made here are way too expensive compare to other locations. Food Court is also pretty pricey-- but the food was definitely tasty.
