This stores meat & produce is awful. This happens week after week. On numerous occasions my husband buys a bag of broccoli; its already bad - it smells, the ends are black. There arent fresh ingredients (i.e., parsley). Our tomatoes are already going bad that we bought on Sunday 6/12/16. Numerous times weve bought fresh chicken & its disgusting; weve cooked it in a crockpot, BBQ, oven. Its hard, tough, cant even cut it. I use chicken we buy from Costco & cook the same way; no problems, its perfect. Fresh chicken thighs we bought on Sunday 6/12/16 were cooked up for the week; some of them are thin, like paper. We cant even buy fresh Salmon there; they either dont have it or its bad (thus, more money wasted). Its just sad that I feel like we cant even shop at our local Safeway anymore without being dissatisfied. I either have to travel 20 minutes (instead of 5 minutes) to go to the Safeway in Vacaville, or stop shopping there all together & switch to Costco/Nugget stores. We spend approximately $200/week on groceries & for that much money, I at least expect to be able to enjoy the meals were cooking for my family.

Dixons Safeway feels more like a locally family owned grocery store than the big business chain store it is. The employees who work there are local people who live in Solano county and are part of the community. Dixons Safeway has the small town feel of the mom & pop grocers of the past. It has more of a warm neighborhood store feel. You will experience friendly helpful people. People who are not impersonal with forced smiles like that of big chain stores. Makes me a regular customer because of their customer service.

stores well stocked and clean. but.. dont eat the donuts. they bakery department cleans the glass of the display case with some spray cleaner and leaves the donuts inside while doing it. not ok. foodsafe chemicals or not. deli counter always has terrible service, sometimes they hide in the back trying to look busy and avoid eye contact. maybe more then 2 lines should be open. the place is like a bank, 12 lines available while 2 are in use

I go here all the time for breakfast burritos and usually they do OK but there is one girl who always shorts me on the product in the inside. Y isnt the staff taught to do it the same all the time??? And she just throws it in there and rolls it together. Sorry but if Im paying for something I want attention to detail on every one! Y is it OK for ppl to be lazy?

Im a regular customer at Safeway. My discount is always at least three cents a gallon, but usually it ten cents a gallon, and it has been as high as twenty cents a gallon when they have certain promotions going on. But who really cares. Its not like Im going to stop buying gas. I have to get around, you know?

This is the most poorly run grocery store Ive seen. Ive seen them sell dead flowers, expired goods, old vegetables and fruit. The wait time in line is always 10 minutes plus and the attendants dont know how to manage customer service. Walmart is light years better than this place.

The pharmacy has the worst service ever! You call and they answer only to put you on hold. They are rude and clearly dont u sweat and that we customers are why they the workers have a job! I need to find a new pharmacy

Although the lines and wait times can get ridiculously long, customer service is awesome. The best part of all is that its open 24 hours a day.
