I just recently found out about this store from a friend and went to the Pokemon go event they hosted recently to check out the store and meet up with some friends. Most of the staff was very helpful and very nice especially the lady that was helping out at the booth at the event! Unfortunately their was two separate events that made me not want to return to this store. One of the staff members was very rude towards me when I had a question about the event that I could not find on the Facebook page. All I asked was when they were recording the highest caught cp Pokemon for that hour and he talked to me like I was stupid and he never actually gave me a straight answer. Someone who witnesses what happened even asked me what I did to pissoff the guy and they actually answered the question for me after I told them what happened! The other time was when a friend and I visited the actual store although the store was packed with people from the Pokemon go event they had an employee follow my friend around the whole store. We were not carrying any bags and my friend was the only black person in the store so needless to say it came off like they racially profiled my friend. I was in line to buy some things when I noticed this so I returned the things to the self and we left because it was making my friend uncomfortable. Although most of the employees were nice after these two incidents in one day I will not be returning to this store Ill just buy what I want off of eBay and Amazon.

Dont bother trying to sell anything to these guys. I tried to sell my wii for some extra cash and had called ahead to verify that they were buying them. When I got there, they tested my wii in the back out of my sight, and said that they wouldnt take it because it wouldnt take a disc. I went out to my car and tested it and found that it worked fine. My husband then went in the store to demonstrate that it did work and see if we could sell it. Even after showing that it took discs with it laying flat and on its side, the extremely rude guy behind the counter claimed that it was broken and said that hed give us $5 for it. He tried to say that they had too many and they could "only sell them for $50." What a joke. Theyll take your stuff for pennies, then sell it for dollars and insult you in the process of doing it.

Ive been doing business with the owner of Play and Talk (Jonathan) for many years now. Whether I was buying, selling, or trading I was always treated fairly and was completely satisfied with the deal. If I had any questions regarding any game or system , all I had to do was call and ask. There are way too many stores that operate on people bringing in "great stuff" and offering them little in return. This store is NOT like those and will treat you fairly. They can even help explain what you have and give you values based on what you bring in. If you are looking for something rare or unique, there is a good chance they will have it. Inventory is always being updated with new items so def check them out if you are close by to one of the stores!

My IPhone 6S decided it wasnt going to work any more this afternoon. I was able to google "area cell phone repair shops" on my laptop and one of the links that appeared was for Play and Talk in Gulfport. When I got to the store, I was helped right away by one of the staff. It turned out to be the store owner, Jonathon. He was able to replace the battery while I waited and I was in and out in about 30 minutes, which was fantastic! In addition the repair charge was very reasonable. I have become so dependent on my cell phone, it would have been a major inconvenience, to be without it. Because of the great customer service at Play and Talk, I didnt have to be experience that inconvenience.

There were actual, literal bugs in my copy of Star Fox for the SNES? Everything else we bought plays great! But I guess, I wanted to write the review to let them know to open up the cartidges to clean them extra well when theyre recieved. We cleaned it out and it works fine, but other people may not know how to open them up and may think its broken, and end up tossing a perfectly playable game. I doubt its the stores fault, the problem probably lies with the person who sold the game to the store.

Look no further because Play and Talk has all of this and much more to offer. I was astounded by the sheer magnitude of video game selection and rare gaming collectibles! And if the volume of quality merchandise wasnt enough, the owner and staff went to great lengths to make sure I was well taken care of. This place just made me feel good!

Alright where do I start, the guy at the counter was being rude. Every time I walked up to the counter to ask a question it felt more like he didnt want to deal with me at all. I decided to go ahead and purchase a ps2 and a few games one of the games was not functional and the ps2 came with the wrong power wire. It doesnt help that I live about an 2 hours from the store. EDIT: Owner did what he could to make sure I got what I needed and helped me with all of the issues I had.

I had waited for a store like this to show up for a long time. Ive been going since day one and have had great experiences every time. Ive purchased multiple systems, well over 100 games, along with various movies and collectibles and have had no issue. Ive also had a screen repaired after getting it done somewhere else and having it break, and have had no issues with my screen since. The prices have always been fair and for a collector like me, its the perfect place to go.

Play and Talk far exceeded all my expectations! The staff was friendly and attentive and they were able to repair my cell phone quickly and for a reasonable rate. The prices here are certainly the lowest in terms of cell phone repair. Their selection of used games and consoles is incredible. Whether youre looking to have the screen on your phone replaced or in the market for some new games, Talk and Play should definitely be your first choice!

The store is large, selection is great, and the staff has proven to me to be knowledgeable. I was searching for a Genesis game (Shadowrun) that I hadnt seen in years. This store did not have it. I was bummed. Instead of walking me out, they told me about their second location in Mobile and had the game sent over for me. It was nothing but class and next level service and this is the only retro store on the coast that I would ever recommend.

If you play classic games this is one of the best game stores you can possibly go to. Their prices are decent, but the selection is unbeatable. The employees are very helpful and polite. however, with everyone i speak to (friends and people i know who have gone) and from personal dealings, one of the managers named Victor is typically Rude, and Sarcastic.. Overall though, this is a great store, which i highly recommend.
