I called Smile to make an arrangement for 12 pounds of Kal-Bi for a family Korean BBQ. I called on a Thursday for a Saturday morning pick up. I was nervous because I had to talk to multiple people because the employees couldn’t understand me (I spoke in English as my Korean is poor at best). Both workers had a hard time understanding me so I spoke very plain and slowly. I confirmed my order with both employees (Male and a Female). Saturday comes around and I find that the market did not have my order ready and even had the audacity to say that there was no call or order that was taken. I was furious and had to scramble to find a solution for the family BBQ. I definitely won’t go back again.

MOST OF MY SHOPPING EXPERIENCES WITH THIS STORE HAVE BEEN THAT ONCE YOU ENTER THE STORE YOU ARE ON WATCH .. LITERALLY MAKING YOU FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE AND LIKE YOUR SOME KIND OF CRIMINAL.. GUILTY BEFORE PRESUMED INNOCENT. OH, BE FOREWARNED THAT IF YOU PAY WITH EBT, THEY DONT GIVE YOU FREE BAGS, THEY STILL CHARGE YOU FOR THE BAGS.. I THOUGHT THAT WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE TO INDIVIDUALS. PAYING WITH EBT?!?? PLEASE ADVISE. ANYONE WITH INFORMATION ON WHO, WHAT, AND WHERE I COULD SUBMIT FORMAL COMPLAINT TO, REGARDING THIS STORES PRATICES, FEEL FREE TO SAY SO.. IT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED! ESPECIALLY MAKING PROFIT BY CHARGING FOR FREE BAGS ... UGH ASIANS!!!

I stumbled upon Smile Market as I like to call it when I had some errands to do in the area years ago. It has a little of everything for your Korean food cravings. They have warm food made daily that one can just pick up and take home to eat and they are quite tasty. You can tell it has been around a while as older people come to buy their necessities. There are groceries and other good things one may have on their list. The reason for the 3 stars is that the place could use a facelift/reorganization and although the staff are always nice to me, they can get short with other people.

야채 관리 시설이 조금 미흡 하지만 요리전에 물에 담그어서 하면 평소에 물먹인 야채보다 향이나 신선도가 더 좋읍니다.평소 진열대에서 물먹던 야채는 냉장고로 가면 물러집니다. 그리고 한국에 봄똥배추와 속음배추를 유일하게 판매하는곳 입니다. 봄똥배추 출하!

개인적으로 로케이션이 편하고 대형마켙처럼 크지않아서 필요한걸 바로 사서나올수있기땜에 자주이용하지만 야채나 과일이 싱싱하지않은경우가많아서 결국 싱싱한곳으로 더샤핑가는경우가 많다.

일반적인 상품은 나름 갖추고 있으며 다른 한국상가보다 2~3% 저렴하지만 단,야채류는 신선도가 너무 떨어지고, 육류는 냉동만 있음, (냉장은 없음 )

Friendly owners/employees, decent selection of packaged Korean goods and small boxed banchan, and lots of bottled/canned cold drinks like Calpico, Milkis, Yogu Time, Binggrae milks, etc. Great little place to check out if youre in the area.

This place needs to be renamed Grumpy Market. An older korean woman with glasses went out of her way to be very rude to us. She needs to be taught to smile at least once.

Its a nice little store it has so many ingredients and the ice cream they sell is so good I recommend it.
