I saw on there wep pag a jeep liberty with all wheel drive and new brakes and tires on it . So I went to check it out it had no inspection sticker on it 2 windows were jamed up with wood . I asked if it would be inspected first the owner said that would be the buyers job to do . I asked about the windows he said they were off the track easy fix and I asked if it was 4wd he said all jeeps are 4wd our AWD . I looked for any bad reviews on the places nothing really bad on them so I bought it . It came with a 3 month warranty . First thing I did was check out the windows they both had bad motors 100.00 dollers each. I took it to get inspected my macanic told me it needed over 3000.00 dollers just to pass plus a couple hundred dollers in motor work to plus it was not all wheel drive just 2WD HE SAID IT WAS NOT WORTH putting the money into he told me to try and get my money back . I called the owner of AME he said we would work something out . It took me almost 2 months to get my money back he kept giving me the runaround would not be there when he said he would would not take my calls I had nothing to drive . When I gave up and told him I was taken legal steps I started to get somewhere with him. He did not want to give all my money back he said I had to pay for the warranty my self he was not going to be out of pocket for it I myself was out over 300.00 dollers 200.00 for the transfer of the title and 100.00 for a new window motor I put in . I called the warranty company and found out he never took one out on this jeep like he said he did . I asked him to show me proof of the warranty he could not . So after 2 months I finally got my money back . Ill never buy from a used lot again you cant trust them .

My wife purchased a 2004 Trailblazer on 4/21/2016. Didnt even get the vehicle home and check engine light came on. She tried diving it the next day and the light started flashing. It turned out to be a coil pack miss firing on cylinder 3, Tony did replace the coil pack. Got it back home and check engine light came back on, this time it turned out to be a bad O2 which I paid for. Also felt the truck riding like it was a boat on the ocean, turned out rear shocks were bad, also my expense. Also replaced brakes and front headlight socket needs replacement. Front end is making noise. With that said I would not buy another vehicle or recommend anyone else buy from AME. Also ask Tony about the "dealer fee" of $200 (OR $300) he charges??? on top of his asking price....never heard of such baloney.

In February of 2017, we contacted Tony about a 2006 Volvo XC90 that we saw listed for sale at his car dealership. He was very responsive and quite helpful. We took the SUV for a test ride and fell in love. Tony explained that he had just put on 4 new tires and had the car inspected. Also showed us the paperwork for recent repair work that was done at the original dealer in Red Bank NJ. We felt very confident that this was a quality car, with a great price tag. Within a week we had the $$ to purchase the car, and the buying process went very smoothly. I would recommend Tony & AME Car Sales to anyone looking to purchase a "new to them" used car. We will definitely going back to see Tony in 2018 to purchase an SUV for my husband.

I bought a Benz recently and I completely love it. I cant stop having fun in it. Such a solid car! Some of theses review on here complain how they have to pay more than what they bought the car for in repairs. Here is what I think... You get what you pay for. He doesnt sell any junk. And hes very helpful. The service there was instant. If you see a car you love, youve done your research, you inspected it yourself and you have the money, hell have you in and out in about 30 minutes. Im definitely coming back here to buy cars in the future and have referred my friends to come here to this shop.

I bought a 2004 Chevy trailblazer from Ame about a month ago. I absolutely love the car. When I got home the air didnt work, I called tony and he fixed it for me. I really dont have any complaints about it at all. The car fits all three of my children in it well, with extra room, will be great in the winter, and now blows cold air. I am very pleased with my purchase, as well as the fact that it has a six month warranty on it (paid extra for the extended three months and can even buy more if I want to.) all in all it was a great car buying experience.

I bought a 97 Honda Accord in March 2016 with about 36k miles for $4200. The dealer did not notify me that the car has a salvaged title, i noticed when i received it in the mail. The dealer told me the car passed inspected, but my car had dry rotted tires! Ive had to change the tires, the muffler, the brakes, and now most recently the radiator! Dont get me wrong - my car is in really good condition (interior and exterior) but it would have been nice to know and it would have been nice if he fixed some of the things before i purchased it.

I brought a 2006 Mercedes E350 in January and this place are scammers with lemons. The guy offered me 2 years Car Protection for $1300 and told me I was only responsible for $100 deductible. I barely drove the car a week before it became a loud clunker and the belt broke. Put it in the shop and the repairs were almost $700 and the Protection only covered $61. I have been calling the dealer everyday and he wont answer. Please do not trust that guy,Do Not buy the fake car protection and Do Not buy any cars from him. Crooks

I drove by and saw a used 5 Series Beemer in the parking lot, next day I stopped in and asked questions about it. The guys there really seemed to know there stuff. I test drove it, it ran very well, the price was unmatched for the miles and good condition it was in. Good thing was I was in and out no long wait hassle. They set me up with a great warranty, signed the paper work and drove home in my new whip...I would highly recommend them for great used car service for the area. Thanks again guys.

We bought a 2006 Honda Accord for $4200. We brought the car home and not even an hour later it would not start. We called to tell him that there was an issue and was told since we signed the "As Is" agreement there is nothing he can do to help. I found out today...3 days later...that it is the alternator. It wouldve been great service if he had been helpful and honest. Be careful buying a car from him. Have it checked out by a trusted mechanic first.
