Old Stock of Food and Poor Customer Service. Vegetables are usually not fresh. Recently I bought puffed rice and it turned out to be old. I asked for refund. He said he wanted to see the actual packet. Who maintains these packets. You just throw these into the garbage and hope the food item is of good quality. In Cash and Carry on El Camino, the manager instantly refunded me for a similar issue one time. Not here though. He is blaming the supplier vs taking ownership of the stocking old/stale items. I dont think this place will remain in business for long. Silicon Valley deserves better quality.

This is the Indian grocery with the highest turnover rate in the South Bay, maybe even the whole bay area. So if you want the freshest spices, this would be your best bet. I came here to buy a pack of fresh green cardamom and got exactly what I was looking for. Other things you can find here: Amul butter (made with buffalo milk) and CTC-style orange pekoe black tea from India like that of Brooke Bond Red Label which is great as a base for homemade masala chai.

Very good customer service. The quality of their products are always good. They also accept Android Pay and Apple Pay at their counter. If you are looking for "Grand Sweets" mixes and snacks, this place has them in stock always and arrives fresh every week. But they do not run a lot of promotions unlike other Indian stores in Sunnyvale. Also it is sad that these people ONLY take cash if your bill is less than $10 which might be inconvenient at times.

Its a One stop for all items. You will find everything you need for Groceries. Fruits, Vegetables, Cereals, Masala powders, oils, Indian frozen food, frozen veggies, all kinds of rice , Utensils , Dosa batter etc. The staff is very nice and helping , Even though it will be crowded on weekends, billing happens so fast , you dont have to wait in a long Q. Compared to other indian stores around, This is less expensive.

I have grown a liking to this grocery store over these years. I have seen their inventory growing to add many items from Tamil Nadu that is hard to find in other grocery places. The vegetables are pretty good, with items like drumstick leaves showing up ocassionally.Since their recent expansion, they have had a good selection of pooja items, and more groceries. Being right next to Madras Cafe is a big plus.

A neighborhood store with lots of Indian grocery items No price tag for most of the items. Difficulty in choosing when multiple options are present. I prefer this store for items that I cant wait to buy till the weekend. They insist cash for less than $10. Depends on the cashier. Cash is rudely demanded when a newbie is at the cash-till Prepare to shell out cash even when you buy items for 8.95

Great store, has only gotten better in the last year. The only thing I dont like about this place is that their cashiers always seem to call the next person in line while youre still paying for your stuff and collecting the things. Seems very rude. I get that the place gets busy, but seriously, thats maybe 5-10 seconds that someone in line could wait.

Its a great place for Indian Groceries and household stuff. It is clean and spacious. The items are properly displayed and never lying on the floor. The staff is courteous. They have a separate section for Pooja Items, kitchen utensils and almost all the stuff that you would get in Indian grocery and medical store.

At the grocery you find all dried pulses (Dal), with your options of rice and wheat flour. They have a good collection of all Indian spices. I bought ready made idli batter from them. The idlis turned out to be light and fluffy. I have even tried their ready made ( not frozen ) fenugreek roti and they were tasty!

The only store that you need for all your Indian grocery needs, in the South Bay. Spacious, clean and lots of fresh produce, organic staples, chutneys, you can even find some Indian utensils like Idly maker etc. Frozen section is great too with a wide selection of paranthas, rotis, theplas, naans etc.

Excellent selection of South Indian staples. And they stock grocery items that are difficult to find in other Indian stores like organic brown sona masoori rice, organic lentils/pulses, etc. And they occasionally import sweets and crunchies from Grand Sweets and Snacks in Chennai.

Packed but thoughtfully laid out Indian grocery store. Decent produce and cheap prepackaged goods. A lot of very cheap spices and curry mixtures. If you need bulk spices or items specific to your Indian recipe, come here! Also try Madras Cafe next door. Its incredible

I have been all over south bay trying to find pure red henna (lawsonia inermis) and neutral henna (cassia obovata) and not only do they have it, but its organic. The store is also very organized and has nice variety. I got some dass too and they were tasty.

Unlike other Indian grocery stores, this store offers a variety of organic produce. The store itself is well maintained and clean. For south indians and especially us chennai-ites, they have Grand sweets products stocked here regularly!!!!!! Check it out!

felt they are a little bit pricy than my grocery store. but I went there for foxtail millet, which I could not find in my local store. But their collection is very good. I may go back for Foxtail millet but rest of groceries, I prefer my local store.

Indian grocery store which would have almost everything that an Indian kitchen needs. Good selection of pre-packaged food. Fresh fruits and vegetables also available. Friendly and helpful staff. Overall, a good grocery experience.

A great place to find Indian products or spices. Friendly staff always ready to help you find the products you are looking for. Mostly busy with people looking for Indian products. Waiting to check out is little high.

Clean aisles, well washed and kept vegetables, smaller and appropriately sized carts. Found everything which is available in any other Indian grocery store and in a much less chaotic setting. Definitely recommended.

My go to place for ingredients for Indian dishes. I have not come up with anything for a recipe that they do not have. The lines are often quite long and slow inside, but I cannot think of a better alternative.

They got frozen chappthy , vegetables etc. Cheapest price compared to other indian stores. Its 1$ more if you buy the same chappathy from nearby indian store. The store is huge and they got a lot of stuff.

Very well stocked, but there seems to be some inconsistency in what they sell. At times it is hard to find stuff that you bought previously. Also, the staff can tend to be on the rude side sometimes.

Is tiny bit expensive from Indian cash and carry but since it is a small store u can get your things quickly and get out fast. Also it was very close to my house. And they accept NFC payment.

They have almost everything that an Indian household would need for daily consumption. The lines move quickly and the staff is helpful. It also helps me meet my cravings of faluda icecream! :)

Madras groceries has been my favorite grocery shop near Sunnyvale for years, fresh stocks, quick billing and near to many other regular visiting points such as Madras cafe and Filepes market
