Grocery Outlet can have great bargains but when food shopping ALWAYS CHECK EXPIRATION DATES. Ive noticed that the super cheap items are either already expired or will expire in a few days. I live in Davis and I save tons of money when I shop here. The prices on produce and frozen foods alone are worth making the trip. The only food items that dont seem to be a good bargain are the breads but other than that everything is great. Dont limit yourself to the food selection because they tend to carry tons of perfumes and beauty products. Last year they had a big lot of Baby Phat fragrances for $20 that retail for $50 so its also a great place to look for gifts. They also have great hair care products and facial creams for really good prices. I recommend this store. They tend to have a great selection of things over the summer and right before the holidays.

are you struggling to get by? do you like to eat healthy but cant afford to shop at "fancy stores"? this is the store for you. the only negative thing i have to say is that the products they carry will vary by week or month. They dont always have the same stuff, so dont get too comfortable buying any particular item and expect to get it there all the time. I do believe there is an old saying about variety being the spice of life. some of my favorite deals are the produce, which include a variety of organic fruits and veggies, and the cheese. depending on the location, there is a good selection of gourmet cheese. i save around 50-80 dollars every time i shop there compared to shopping at ANY other grocery store, including walmart.

Its like playing a game of slots, but with Groceries. A lot of the stuff here is questionable, but every so often you hit the jackpot and find something really great for really cheap.

It has low prices, groceries selection is not very wide. Freeway access could challenging even with GPS because of multiple street cross sections close by.
