I went in for a fit on a bike I purchased from a nearby competitor in Valparaiso. If Id known this store offered lifetime free tune-ups on bikes purchased from them. Especially after seeing what an excellent job they do taking care of their customers. I had to wait for the fitting, as there were two people ahead of me. Not a big deal. I walked the store, looking at product. All of the associates in the store were taking very good care of everyone that walked in the door. Impressive. The employees are of the younger generation, except the gentleman that fitted me. Im guessing he was about 60. And he did an awesome job of fitting me, and explaining how and why he was doing what he was doing. As well as giving me pointers and advice. Why only four stars then? I rarely "award" any place a perfect score. The service has to be absolutely stellar. This place was close. Perhaps a few more visits and they will earn a stellar review.

First the good. The store is very clean and has a nice selection of bikes, the staff are courteous, and bike repairs are done in a reasonable amount of time. The bad. The repair staff didnt appear to be very knowledgeable or experienced. It had the vibe of a high school temp job atmosphere. I spent over $150 on some minor adjustments yet when I got the bike back the new cables were in the way of pedaling and my new stem was so loose it was dangerous. I could tell no one test rode it at all. On top of that, I asked for a good stem for hard mountain biking and they installed the cheapest Bontrager one. I dont have much confidence in it and now Im stuck buying another one on my own. I dont know what else is in the area but if you are more than a casual rider just stay away. I could have done this on my own but my time is limited with a 100% travel job, so I just wanted to ride the next weekend with a tuned up bike and was very disappointed.

This place is a boutique, not a bike shop. Everytime Ive been there, Ive been disappointed. Went there one day with money to burn($1500) on a new road bike, but happened to be dressed in my Sunday worst( work clothes, boots, driving my mill truck) and was ignored by the 5 people that were standing around gabbing while I was checking out road bikes for about 20 minutes, and one in particular I was going to buy. In rolls Mr. BMW in his Sunday best, every joker in that place practially tripped over themselve to be first in line to lick his boots. Needless to say, I bought elsewhere. To buy some replacement parts, if you only like Bontrager, Shimano, and SRAM thats all youll get from here, and thats all the staff knows. Be preapred to talk to teenagers.

Went in the store to get a flat bar road bike for my birthday. I looked around and a very helpful and knowledgeable woman named Kaitlyn I believe, assisted me with figuring out what style,size and level of bike would be best for me. Im 5ft 10in tall and she set the seat height on a Trek 7.2 and told me to try it out on the bike trail RIGHT BEHIND THE STORE. She gave me a helmet and off I went. I returned a sweating satisfied customer. I purchased the bike, ( well my girlfriend did, as I said Its My Birthday Present), and Im looking forward to many miles and years of enjoying this bike. Excellent customer service and very thorough in their knowledge of what a bike rider would like in accessories as well. 4/09/2014

Ive been a satisfied customer of the Trek Bike Store since they opened, and actually before that when they were the Bike Pros. Ive purchased three bicycles from them, and they have done any maintenance that I do not perform myself. Their employees have been helpful, and their customer service has been solid. Recently, their customer service was stellar, as they resolved a frame warranty claim on one of my bikes. My satisfaction was their primary goal, and they resolved any issues involved in the rebuild. You get the benefits of larger shop without sacrificing customer service. Whether you are in the market for a new bike or gear, or you need service on one of your bikes, they will take care of you.

Bad costumer service. I took my trek in to get the right breaks fixed and new reflector. Five days go by after numerous calls from me asking when my bike will be fixed. On the fifth day it still wasnt fixed so I told them Im gonna come get my bike. Well they did finally fix my rear break but broke my gear selector somehow and said it was like that when I brought it in. They didnt even put a new reflector on like I asked either!!! Im so mad);

October 26, 2015: My knees were getting sore so I took my Trek Mountain bike in for a saddle adjustment. Paul jumped on it, probably spent 30 minutes getting it in order. Picked up a new (used) saddle and some over size gel grips (installed too). The knowledgeable professional care I received made me a future customer for sure. Everyone I encountered there knows their stuff.

Pathetic. Took them a month to replace a rim, and install a tubeless tire with valve stem on another rim. Never called to update me, finally called to say all was complete, after two visits and two calls to manager, and well one wheel was done and the forgot to get me a tubeless tire. There service department is a joke and will look down to you unless you have a trek.

Trek is awesome I went there my very fist time not know knowing what to expect and I must say the staff there is awesome. I spent about 3 hours there and tried several different bikes finally I found the right one. They also did a great job with my fitting. Ill end by saying my money was very spent and I would recommend anyone there. GREAT JOB TREK

Just bought my first Trek since 2002! The staff here are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The employee helping me was no doubt the youngest on staff, regardless he was well spoken and answered all of my questions without hesitation! There is no doubt I will be returning to this store!

There are other bike stores with more qualified people. I just purchased two new Treks and a Giant from Bucks in Valpo because they know bikes and their service for maintenance and repairs is outstanding. Much more knowledge and experience there...and I race.

I had a small tune up done, for no small price. I ended up having to do it all myself anyway. Waste of time and money. Fixing bikes isnt hard, a good book (maybe the library?) a few tools, and some time will be far better than paying these jokers.

Very knowlegable and patient……had some small issues after the purchase and the staff took the time to correct on the spot. Would highly reccomend giving them a look if you are the market for a quality bike.

Me and my wife were very impress with their customers service and they manage to take an extra step to make my wife feel comfortable with her new bike
