Today I picked up a new rear wheel from Bikes Plus after my old one was was run over by a car. The staff was courteous and helpful when I stopped in to see how or if my damaged wheel could be repaired. They tried on two separate occasions to remove the freewheel (rear gears) in order to save me money on a replacement wheel but the gear was frozen in place. They ordered me a new MegaRange freewheel and installed it (the next day) on a new wheel for me ...all at a fair price. Today I arrived to pick up my wheel/gears and found they had removed my old tire and tube and reinstalled it on my new wheel as a courtesy. I found this business to be a well run enterprise with a customer oriented attitude. They also have a wide variety of new bikes....though sadly, most are Chinese made. It seems this phenomenon is now commonplace in the bicycle industry except for high end bikes. :(

I bought shoes, pedals, and cleats from them on Saturday May 14th. I used them twice and was not happy with them. I brought them back to exchange for something better (one week later on Saturday) and the owner was not helpful and told me they had scuffs and he wouldnt be able to resell them as new. He said they would not be able to give me full credit for an exchange. I proceeded to look at the shoes to exchange and they conveniently did not have my size in any of them. They said they would have more next week. I had already driven 30 miles to this shop and do not have the time for multiple trips. In the end, the entire staff ignored me while I waited for my wife. No apologies. Very sad because we did like them enough to spend $5500 on bikes last July. Lesson learned.

I searched for 3 months looking for ANY bike shop in the area to work on my bike! I was refused by every shop, stating they didnt have time, space, or it wasnt going to be a "money maker." When I talked to this Bikes Plus about it, they were optimistic and felt my urgency and concern for restoring a bike that meant a lot to me. They exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond to provide timely, precise, and personalized care. When I saw the bike, I literally was moved to tears at the transformation. If you are looking for a repair place that cares and loves what they do, go no further. Professionalism, passion, and perfection all in one place. That rarely happens anymore...

I just purchased a Giant Defy Advanced 3 from them. I drove all over the city and went to each bike store more than once. These guys did an awesome job. They got me the bike I wanted for a great price. There is a guy there named Tony that works on bikes and he was especially helpful with getting the bike adjusted to me. I highly recomend them.

Some of the most helpful and friendly service I have ever received as well as knowledgeable assistance in selecting the correct parts even before I intended to make a purchase. I ended up spending my money in the store vs. online simply because of the helpful assistance I was given and would gladly do it again.

I visited in the afternoon of August 5, and liked my experience. The stores layout was good with room to view and mount bikes. Staff was knowledgeable and courteous. If I ever get the $600 needed to purchase that Specialized hybrid, I will seriously consider Bikes Plus.

Called to inquire on the price of a bike rack for vehicle, he told me $400. I asked what makes the rack so great, price comparing I saw 75-100$. The young guy said hold on. He told another guy, talk to the Bitc@ I Hung up. No business from me! God honest truth

Took me three trips twice ordered or did the wrong thing on my bike charged me $180.00 after I just spent $80.00 for a new spoke and chain bike kept slipping. All I needed was a new $22.00 cassette. These guys are a joke and never will be back.
