REVIEW UPDATE - 2015 KIA OPTIMA PURCHASE EXPERIENCE on NOV. 19, 2015: On Nov. 19, 2015, I came in to resolve a problem I had with the used 2012 KIA Optima I bought 6 months ago & the staff - Mike & Trajce, particularly were more than happy to resolve the problem... ... But it gets BETTER! While I was waiting for them to take a look at my car in the service area, I was approached by another sales guy (he might have been named Mike as well as apparently there are a couple of "Mikes" there) -- & he explained that KIA was having a huge Holiday Savings Event. I ended up trading in my 2012 KIA Optima that I bought with 55,400 miles (& had only put 1,200 miles on it in the 6 months I had it) for a nearly identical 2015 model which left the lot with no more than 15 miles on it! My new 2015 KIA Optima is gorgeous and the buying experience was superb from the ENTIRE team, especially Trajce & Monica -- who was my financial adviser this time. This whole situation turned from me requesting them to fix an issue on the used car I had that was overlooked -- (to which they were genuinely apologetic & happy to not only fix the issue, but reimburse my friend who paid for the repairs (and was my co-signer) for the mechanical work & parts he dished out money for) to a "we not only want to admit our error & reimburse him, but guess what -- we can likely put you in a new car & make your car-buying experience with us even BETTER." That "BETTER" was putting me in a FAR BETTER financial situation by offering me a new car during their 2015 KIA HOLIDAY SAVINGS EVENT PROMOTION. This provided me with a brand new vehicle, under an excellent warranty at *nearly* the same monthly-payment-price as the one I just bought from them 6 months ago, & saved me $8,500 in interest charges by dropping my interest-rate from 14% to 0.9% -- an interest rate that wont keep me up at night -- not to mention no payments for 5 months! A good business admits their error, fixes the problem, & often will offer you a reimbursement if it is appropriate. A GREAT business does not only *that* -- but looks to see what *else* they can do to make your buying experience even better. Willowbrook KIA, Salespersons Trajce, phone person Cheryl, my financial adviser. Monica - & whichever "Mike" I worked with concerning the brake repair reimbursement are a GREAT Sales-Team. Trajce and Monica are top-notch and I would be very comfortable sending friends and family to the both of them if they are looking for a new or used vehicle. You folks have a life-time customer in me, my room-mate who co-signed for me & *also* bought a car from you, *&* my husband. The two of them were overjoyed to hear how the whole situation turned out, simply from me coming in & asking for you guys to fix an issue that was overlooked on your end. In my past, Id been in customer service for over 20 years -- as an Assistant Retail Manager, Customer Service Operator for a major cellular company, and also held a position as a Marketing & Advertising Director -- & I will attest -- What I experienced with the staff at WILLOWBROOK KIA is how "its DONE." *THIS* is how you keep customers. *THIS* is how you go above-&-beyond. *THIS* is how you not only do your job for yourselves -- but you do your job with compassion for the financial situation of your customers & that is RARE in todays world of greed & big business. You have my thanks, appreciation, and genuine ENVY that I *rarely* had the opportunity to work, myself, with a sales team of your caliber. Keep up the 5-star customer service and sales techniques! Thank you. Ms. B. Downs ======================== ORIGINAL REVIEW FROM MAY 21, 2015: Bought a 2012 KIA Optima. Excellent customer service with my sales rep, Trajce Cvetkovski and my financing adviser, Mr. Lopez. LOVE the car and both gentlemen as well as Cheryl at the front desk answering the phone have gone above and beyond in doing everything within their power to make me happy.

I finally decided to purchase the new vehicle. I did my research and asked my friends for advice. One of my coworkers had recently purchased Kia Niro. I found this little car good match for my needs. Great fuel economy, typical for Kia generous set of standard features and long warranty makes it appealing choice. So I put mu contact into the Kia website ans also contacted Costco car buying program. Unfortunately Costco participating dealership is too far from my house. Two local ones I selected to contact thru Kia site responded very quickly. I selected to go to Willowbrook Kia first. Once there I was approached by sales people who to my relief were not pushy. Slavica, who was introduced to me by Carrie (my initial internet sales contact) did show me my selected model with options and color I was looking for. She found out technical information I requested. I took the car for fairly long test drive. Car felt good so decided to pursue it further. Slavica presented offer and accepted my counter so we had a deal. Formalities went fairly quick. I was presented with typical speech about extra rust proofing, but again one no was enough to finish (thank you Tom)and progress to financing. Kia offers 0% option so with $0 down and no trade payment is easy to calculate. The whole thing from my arrival to departure in new car took 3.5 hours, but could be quicker if I was in hurry. This was least amount of pressure I experienced buying new car (and I had few). I feel I got good value for my money and hopefully car will serve me well for few years. I will keep this review updated if anything worth mentioning happens.

I just wanted everyone to know about the terrible experience I had with my family at this dealership and what makes it even worse is that I brought them there. Anyway we picked the car after all the B.S. they try to feed us, by trying to sell us some used cars, taking advantage of the fact that my brother in law did not have a good credit score. Finally my mother in law co-signed for him and we tried to talk the price down, the finance manager was fighting over $75. I told him that is unbelievable that he would fight over $75. Finally my mother in law said she will pay that stinking $75. Afterwards, the finance manager that was closing the papers with us was trying to sell us an (extra warranty) I told him fine, give us something off on it and we will take it. Besides the fact that he continued to insult our intelligence(practically saying that we are stupid) I can believe that they put somebody like that to work with people that spend thousands and thousands of $$$. Finally after spending a whole day there at the dealer, I got upset and raised my voice (which maybe I should not have done) but everyone has a limit, Right?! While Im holding my three years old son in my hands, because he was so tired. He proceeds to ask me why am I talking to him like Im getting ready to hit him" Can you imagine that they would talk to you like that in front of your family, not just that but A three years old child. Terrible, please save your self some time, energy and money. DONT GO TO THIS DEALER. TERRIBLE
