Although I was told I was approved for any used vehicle on the lot I was charged over $11,000 for a vehicle thats worth $2800. I didnt get a change to give the car a full test drive. I was sold a vehicle that couldnt have past the safety and emissions because I was back in the shop two days after leaving with it to have the brakes and rotors replaced because they were not just unsafe but just in very poor condition. I was having issues with it starting and was asked by their mechanic to put fuel cleaner in because he thought it was bad gas. Come to find out not only is there an exhust leak, (which you cant pass emissions with) and the starter was bad. We also had another issue with the car, shocking, the we thought was a recall item in the year make and model of the car and they didnt want to have anything to do with even checking it out for me. I have been charged late fees and forced to pay more then my usually amout because their systems didnt take out the auto draft that week. After fighting them I got the money refunded and it took less then 24 hours to be refunded. Lastly, my car was broke into the early morning of the 16th and my whole world was taken including my wallet that had the rest of my bill and grocery money in it. I called to see if I could get the money back for my payment to I could feed my kids until Monday when the bank will be returning my money that was taken. I was not only hung up on from Laurie in the office, When I called back I got the manager on the line telling me if she does refund the money for my payment theres no guarantee that I will get it back in time (5-10 days). Tried telling me I missed a payment when they have auto deducted out of my bank account twice a month. We set up a payment deference because of the year of good payment history and they told me I was late and charged me for it. She faught me and put me on hold for a very long time to tell me that she would refund the money but she inactivated my car because we missed a payment, the deference. So, I was able feed my kids for this weekend, thank goodness but I cant make it to work tomorrow because they have inactivated my car because of this. And I may very well lose my job because I have no way to make it to your tomorrow. Oh they arent open on Mondays to make sure the payment goes through to reactivate my car. Menlove, you say youre the last of the little guys; boy are you mistaken.

It is no mystery why the two cars we have bought in the last 10 years have been from Menlove. They are incredible! The most recent experience is inductive of what we have had each time. We let them know upfront that we were not convinced we would be leaving with a new car and if we did, it would be on our terms and within our budget. We had three of our kids with us who the awesome office staff took to a room just for kids with toys and a movie ("Cars" in this case which absolutely transfixed my sons) and had popcorn for them. We talked about what we were looking for in a car and that we were likely not going to be driving one out that night. Then we went with one of the salesmen to the lot to see what they had. They had a decent selection and were getting more within the week. We were asked what our budget was and when we told him, he showed us only the cars that fit that budget. He also let us know which cars he wouldnt let us drive or buy even if we wanted to because he didnt feel they were quality vehicles. I have never had a salesman do either of those things. Im used to someone trying to upsell and overstep and all that. Ultimately, we found one we liked and test drove it. When we got back to the lot, he asked the dreaded "if the numbers work..." question. We told him we would have to see what everything looked like and then decide. We got back to the office and started talking numbers. He was able to give us a good deal on our trade and we had cash for a down payment. Taking all things into consideration, he actually came in under our budget. We were floored. The paperwork process was quick and painless. My kids were entertained and the office staff was so great with them. Since purchasing the vehicle, I have been able to ask questions about all sorts of things and they have been so helpful and, more importantly, responsive. I never felt like a burden or inconvenience. Would I recommend Menlove Fresh Start in North Salt Lake? You bet I would. Will I buy another car from them? They will be the first place I go. My daughter is turning 16 in a couple of years and will be needing a car, so we know where we will be going for that.

Hi, I just bought a vehicle from Menlove and I am so very glad I gave them the benefit of the doubt! Before I went to Menlove, I looked around on the internet for customer reviews. All I came across were negative after negative review. Some with childish ranting and claims of mechanical negligence on Menloves part and some that may have sounded a little "scapegoat-ish". Consequently, I was somewhat apprehensive about going into their business regarding a vehicle purchase. Well, I went to their store exactly a week ago and do not regret it one bit. I have bought four (2 new/2 used) vehicles in my nearly 20 years of driving and it was the BEST dealership experience Ive had. Dawn and Randy were so great to work with and sincere during the entire process. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and there was zero pressure. They genuinely wanted us to make a purchase that suited us, our budget and transportation needs. The process was swift and uncomplicated without us feeling bullied or rushed into a decision. They even assisted us in getting adequate insurance (Thanks!) and we got a great deal . They went above and beyond my expectations and I know I made the right choice. Anybody can leave a crummy review on a website.... but Menlove just invalidated all of it with the customer service they provided. The 2 year warranty they offer makes me feel safe and secure with the maintenance of my Ford Escape. One week with my new SUV today and its running great, gas mileage is great and Im proud to say that Menlove helped me get a fresh start in a sweet ride. Thanks Guys! Bobbie Gene and Bill

I just bought a Nissan Maxima today from Menlove Auto and the whole experience was quick, fun and rewarding. I didnt think I would get approved when I sent in my online application cause my credit is far from good but to my surprise I got a quick response from Chett saying I was approved and I just needed to come in and check out the cars. I went in still thinking I might get turned away since some auto companies will say anything to get u come in even if it means they have to lie and say ur already ur approved when u arent.... But not Menlove auto!! They were awesome!! Chett was very easy to talk to and made me feel very comfertable with my auto decision. He made sure I got the car I wanted and did his best to get the monthly payments to match my budget. I highly recommend Menlove Auto. They dont lie, they dont hassel, they dont annoy u, they just work extra hard to get u in the car u want for a decent price and low monthly payments.
