I visited The dealership on November 16, 2016 to look at the Chevrolet Silverado 1500. I had purchased my current vehicle from Hoskins Chevrolet in 2001. I also had purchased several trucks for my business from Hoskins. The dealership was sold to Castle approximately a year and half ago. **I spent 4 hours in the dealership** I found a truck that I liked and asked for the best price , what would they allow for a trade in on my 2002 Chevrolet Avalance. Steve Hoch the salesperson informed me that they would take $1,000.00 off the truck with $500.00 going for a trade in. I told him no way I would give him my truck for $500 and would take the Silverado for $27,700.00 with $5000 down and they provide the financing. ( which they make a percent of the loan) . They asked me for my Drivers license and proof of Insurance which I provided. I was visited by a female with a copy of my drivers license and Insurance card, and was trying to sell me Auto insurance, this was ridicolous. I have state Farm Insurance and I didnt appreciate being solicited for insurance. I didnt come to a car dealership for Insurance. I was introduced to another gentleman and he was preparing the paperwork and telling me about the dealership. after 3 hours I finally got speak to the finance person. I signed all the paperwork and he kept trying to sell extended warranty and gap insurance, I had enough, I only wanted to close on the truck deal. I told him i wasnt interested and he kept pushing the gap insurance which I finally accepted under duress. When the loan papers were printed the final signatures the contract price was $28,700.00 This amount was wrong and he called Steve Hoch the salesperson. Steve said it would be $1000 if I traded in my truck. He had a piece of paper with the $27,700 price written on it which he produced. If they offered me $500.00 for my trade in which we both agreed was not enough were did the other $500.00 go??? They lied to me after 3 and half hours. I got up and left the dealership. The next morning I realized I didnt have my drivers license and my Insurance card. i went back to the dealership and spoke with a salesperson and asked if the manager was available he said he wasnt and asked if he could help i mentioned that they didnt return my drivers license and insurance card. he said he found it on the copier and returned it to me. I wasted 3 and half hours in this dealership, and do not recommend using this dealership. i will be posting this to the BBB and Yelp. Respectfully Phil Davis

If my own Dad (God rest his soul) had sold me this car, I dont think I could have gotten better service than I got from Castle Chevy North salesman Mike Pirozzoli. The Impala I bought Friday is the first car Ive owned in 25 years, and as such my only form of transportation from the city to Elk Grove Village was the Metra. My plan was to take the train to the closest station, then get a cab to haul me over to Castle. But Mike was having none of that. Instead, he picked me up at the Bensenville Metra stop and drove me the rest of the way. On the drive to Castle, Mike was very friendly and very informative about the car. He convinced me that the car -- a 2014 edition with 23,000 miles -- was in such good shape there probably was no need to take it to a mechanic. But Id already made plans to have a mechanic look the car over, so I went ahead and did that. As expected, the mechanic said the car was perfectly clean and in excellent shape. So I bought the Impala for what I thought was a fair price (and so did Kelley Blue Book, by the way). Four or five times Mike said to me "If anything comes up with the car, just call me." I believe him! Hes a great guy. He introduced me to a number of Castle employees, all of whom were friendly, helpful, and personable. In a nutshell, Im glad I found Castle. I would buy my next car there and I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a new or used car. Sincerely, Robert Garvey, Jr. Chicago P.S. I also loved seeing the herd of elk across the street from the dealership! Evidently Elk Grove Village keeps a (fenced-in) herd of Elk in its forest preserve. UPDATE, NOVEMBER 13, 2015: My car needed its first oil change earlier this week -- well, the first oil change since I bought it, anyway. Before driving out to Elk Grove Village, I texted my salesman, Mike Pirozzoli. Im using my Impala for Uber driving, and the need for an oil change materialized sooner than it normally would, so I asked Mike if I still qualified for a free oil change. (My Impala comes with free oil changes for the life of the car.) Mike said "Yes, bring the car in," which I did this past Monday, November 9. The service was fast (about 45 minutes) and friendly. I appreciate the nice folks at the dealership as well as Mikes helpful information. The car runs smoothly and looks great. I get lots of compliments from Uber riders. Thanks, Mike, for all your help, and thanks to everyone else at Castle Chevrolet North! Sincerely, Robert Garvey, Jr. Chicago

I bought a car in April and it was a pretty good experience for a dealership. We chose this dealership because they had fair prices. We werent greeted by any of the male salesman outside near the entrance, which was fine because they were smoking. Katie was the first to come out on the slightly rainy day. She was patient and friendly. It went relatively smooth because we already knew what we wanted, we had researched the model, and knew what they had on the lot. Once we wrapped up our test drive and were ready to negotiate, the dealership seemed willing to work with us for our trade, which seems to be more and more rare. The only complaint there was they tried to tell us our 4-wheel drive didnt work on our truck. I said that wasnt possible, meaning it wasnt possible it didnt work as we have used it, that truck was well maintained, and not a daily driver, and they (a bald guy, maybe a Manager?) promptly tried to twist that and say "its not possible to put it in 4?", which I quickly corrected. They said a service guy would test it again and we saw that it never left its parking place. Eventually they told us they got it to work and we moved on without other tricks. We were ready to sign the papers and moved to financing. This was a terrible experience. I have good credit and got a pretty disappointing rate because they only use one lender and its a local bank. I asked how many places they ran my option through and they said just one; they have the best rates. Not sure what kind of kickback they are getting, but I refinanced the following week with my bank and they cut my rate in half. Walk in pre-financed.

GO MIKE PIROZZOLI!! I had been in the marketing-searching for a vehicle -that was affordable (esp insurance wise) and with a monthly note that would fit into my budget. After reading customer reviews and researching various dealerships online-I decided on Castle North (Elk Grove). I was instantly greeted by Mike Pirozzoli. My, was this guy awesome! I had chosen one vehicle-but after conversing with Mike at the dealership he recommended another that was FAR BETTER budget wise than the one I had initially chosen! I was so impressed with his professionalism (Not once did I feel intimidated or pressed to "buy this one NOT that one, etc...) that the following month I returned with my twin sister-who purchased a vehicle that was JUST RIGHT! But, the story does not end here! My former sister-in-law was shopping for a vehicle and I told her about Chevy North and told her if she met Mike-he will do his absolute best for her in choosing a quality vehicle that she would love, along with an affordable note and great follow-up service. We met her there and she purchased one also! In 2 months, myself, my twin, and sister-in-law were driving great vehicles! NO pressure! Mike scanned the inventory and selected vehicles that were better and more affordable than the ones we had initially picked out. I know this is a long story but were talking THREE VEHICLES. Thanks Mike for your professional, patient AND on-hands help!
