My first experience of American Freight was about 5 years ago, and was pleasant then. Purchased a typical sofa and loveseat in microfiber suede for our apartment. They survived impressively throughout the years, even with two cats the whole time. Purchased a suede recliner 3 years ago, and it too has lasted and is still nice, and comfy to this day. Wanted a sectional to replace the old sofa and loveseat, and went to Rooms 2 Go, American Signature, Havertys, IKEA, West Elm, Lazy Boy, and even Ashley Furniture. I needed a particular size, and for a good price. EVERYWHERE was asking much more, and wasnt even close to the size to the sectional I found at American Freight. Came back twice and a Sales Rep, named Rich was very helpful both times. He was very helpful and reassured me that the delivery would be on time, and would be delivered safe. If I ever needed any more furniture, Rich would definitely be my go-to salesperson. The delivery was also very nice and welcoming and never did I feel like anything was going to go missing throughout the process. I also bought all of our Master Bedroom furniture last year from American Freight. They are also of awesome quality, and look excellent! Overall, I cant say enough good things about the company. Again, consider all the places I named earlier, and when it comes down to it, dont judge by the looks of the establishment because the products are excellent quality.

Ill start by saying that I cannot review the quality of the product because I never received it. Buyer beware. If the product is not in stock, DO NOT PURCHASE!!! I walked into American Freight on Philips Highway on April 12th and bought a couch. I was told it was their "most popular" model. I was also told that since it was not in stock it could take anywhere from 7 - 30 days. Ill give them this... the salesman was very honest about the delivery time. I was willing to wait up to the 30 days, however, on the 30th day I was told they had still not received it from their distributor and they had no idea when they would be getting it in. Apparently, there is zero communication between them and where they receive furniture from. I was then told they might have another shipment coming on June 1st. (remember I bought the couch on April 12!?!) On the same day I cancelled my order (Monday May 18) I walked into American Signature on Atlantic Blvd, bought a couch and it was delivered by May 21. Save yourself a lot of hassle and dont buy anything from this crap house.

I was highly pleased with the level of service Jordan and Irish provided me with today at the Philips Hwy location in Jacksonville, Fl. All associates were professional and upbeat unlike most furniture places. When I first arrived Jordan greeted me and walked with me to the furniture I looked at online, he gave me expert information on the sectionals and allowed me to walk around to take a look at the store. After about 7-10 mins I finally decided which sectional I wanted I then asked about their dinning tables and was walked over to them by Jordan. Jordan had to take an escaltion over the phone for another client and left me in the hands of Irish. Because I was undecisive if I needed a dinning room set Irish came to check on me a few times to make sure I was okay, on one occurance he even sat down with me at one of the tables just so I could feel it out. At the end of my transaction Irish finished the paper work and I was on my way. I will recommend my friends and family thanks for making it easy!

I recently got married and my husband and I moved into our first home. We both had great pieces from our previous places but definitely needed more furniture to fill the place we plan on living for years to come. Many of our friends have raved about American Freight, so we figured wed go check it out. As soon as we walked in, we both realized this place had exactly what we needed to make our house a home. Immediately we were greeted by Rich. We walked throughout the store and my husband and I showed Rich pieces we liked. Not agreeing on everything, Rich was able to show us things that fit both our tastes perfectly! It was literally a one-stop-shop as we got all the stuff we needed to furnish our new home. We are SO pleased! My mother-in-law came over after everything arrived and was in place and now she is dead set on refurnishing her house! You guys truly met our needs and Rich is an asset to your team! Thank you so very much! Will indeed recommend!

While they have great deals, and a wide selection, the independently hired delivery drivers are awful. Jeff at AM was great, we got an awesome deal and he was super friendly. Unfortunately the drivers showed up, almost two hours late, and refused to attempt to get the couch in, and left within 10minutes of showing up, and berated my gf that she still owed him the delivery fee because they "get paid to show up". I rescheduled a delivery for a day where I would be home, and they never showed up. Even after I had called to verify they were delivering. At this time, the only reason I havent asked for my money back is because we already paid for a delivery, or else Id be out $70. While looking around at couches we had decided on other things we would purchase in the next week. After this experience we will never shop at American freight again. At this point losing the $70 is almost worth not having to deal with this anymore.

I worked with Rich on 2 of my purchases and he was great!!! Ive purchased a sectional couch, mattress, another couch, loveseat, and coffee table set from these guys and they are always awesome to deal with!! For my most recent purchase, I wasnt able to get the coffee table set I wanted so I had to go back and pick out a different set. At first, they were going to charge me the $50 difference, even though it was not my fault I could not get the original set. It was out of stock, indefinitely. However, the manager made good and said they would cover the additional cost. When I got the tables home, the package was missing the hardware needed to attach the legs and I thought I was going to have to drive back to the store. Nope, I called and the manager got in his truck and drove over the additional parts I needed. Now THATS amazing customer service. I will go back to these guys every single time for furniture!!!!

New to Jacksonville area, Ive been looking for a sectional for my living room. I went to multiple furniture stores but the prices did not meet my budget. I researched the surrounding areas, and landed on American Freight. I decided to check it out, and ending up buying a sectional at American Freight Furniture for a lower price listed somewhere else. Great customer service and great prices. No pressure in trying to get you to buy like other furniture stores. Greg was very reasonable with the prices, and would work with me to get a discount off the price. Even though there was a little mishap with the first sectional that they delivered, after speaking to Jordan (store manager), and Greg (assistant manager), they swapped out the sectional, and delivered me a brand new one the next day. They promised on what they told me they would do. Thank you for everything guys. I appreciate it.
