Dont expect your furniture any time soon. I placed an order in early september and was told that there was a 8-10 week time for delivery on our furniture. We asked again because we had heard some stuff about shipping times not being accurate, but we were then assured that we would have our furniture by our sale associate. We were a little concerned but figured we would have 12 weeks until we really needed our sofa so why no go with them. Well we just got word that our furniture will not be arriving until January 16th. 18 weeks after we placed the order. How is this even acceptable? I asked why this is the case and its because its a custom order, i let my sales associate know that, she knew that at the time of the order. She then went on about how the 8-10 weeks is the estimated time for the furniture to get to the warehouse, from there it needs to be packaged and shipped. This is exactly why we asked twice when we ordered the furniture, yet here this sales associate was telling that there must have been a misunderstanding. There certainly was no misunderstanding, when we specifically ask when will we HAVE the furniture. The furniture being in a warehouse is not us HAVING the furniture. And good luck if you dont live directly next to the warehouse because they apparently only do shipping twice a month in our area. Absolutely horrible experience.

.As a long time customer of Crate and Barrel and their affiliate CB2,I wanted to share my discontent and frustrations regarding the staff at KOP, Philadelphia. I recently purchased a bed during a promotional weekend. In fact, the sales person repeatedly assured me that I would receive 20% off on my purchase. However, when I checked my bill later, I realized that they failed to give me the discount. I understand that things get lost in shuffle and I contacted the salesperson to rectify this issue. He later said the discount didnt apply to that specific bed! I find this lack of clarity so misleading and frustrating. On the top of that, I had coordinated the purchase of a mattress which I had to cancel and resulted in a $150 penalty fee. I contacted the manager of the store and am still waiting to hear back; its been 3 weeks and counting. I would never recommend this store to anyone and I totally hesitate to go back to Crate and Barrel or any of their affiliates.

Horrible customer service and nasty manager! First we chose to buy some botanicals. At checkout they rang up more expensive than the price marked on their display, when we pointed out the discrepancy and showed them the display. They agreed that the items were clearly mislabeled. However, when they called over the manager for assistance, she refused to match the price, insisting that we should know the difference between "taca" leaves and "palm" leaves. Second, we chose to take our refund in the form of a gift card knowing that there were additional items on our registry we would love to purchase. When we went to redeem the gift card it had a ZERO balance, only after spending my Sunday morning on the phone with customer service was the issue resolved. I will never shop in King of Prussia Crate and Barrel again, customer service is everything in todays world and if you cant provide it you dont deserve my hard earned money.

Two out of three workers were extremely rude. While I know its the holiday - the store was completely empty and I asked for some help about a product. The lady made it clear that she didnt have time for my question and that it was dumb. Id never been to a Crate and Barrel before - I was looking forward to it, but her rudeness was something Ive never experienced in retail before. The cashier was very friendly. She offered wrapping services and insisted even when I said no at first. I dont like inconveniencing people, and felt like I had to the First woman. Finally, on the way out, I met in the doorway a third employee. It was dark and I didnt realize someone (an employee) was walking into the store as I was pushing out through the same door. I said excuse me and mentioned that I didnt see her. She ignored me and my apology. Im going to assume most people just dont like working here, so dont even bother going.

Just left the kop store where I intended to purchase a table for $600+the items I had in my hands from their 1st floor marketplace area. I swear there were more employees in store than customers and yet I could not get the help I needed. Decided to get in line at the one register that was open after taking several laps around the store. Because the customer ahead of me needed confirmation that the $30 bowl she was returning (sans receipt)was only eligible for store credit, the employee behind the register essentially shooed me away to "go find another register thats open ". When I expressed to her that I had done that already to no avail, I decided C&B didnt want or deserve my business. This is not a one time experience in this store either. Ive purchased plenty from them over the years and with such rude service over and over, I have to say, not again

Drove all the way to K of P to return a rug today. I recently washed the rag rug and the sides frayed. The store manager, Geri, I believe, refused to credit my purchase because it was over 90 days. She also claimed that she couldnt issue any type of credit because she "didnt know how I washed it." Are you kidding me? When I told her that I washed it in my washing machine, she just stood there and started at me. Did she think I took it to the Brandywine River and beat it on the rocks? The product was clearly defective and I deserved a refund. No apology for my situation, no store credit, zero customer service.

This store is hit or miss. The reviews reflect it. I have had good service buying a dutch oven and then fairly lousy service buying an expensive bed. That being said, I ask and read about returns. To the gal who wanted to return a rug , she washed, 90 days after purchasing it, I just saw this. "Non-furniture items are returned within 90 days of customer receipt. A valid proof of purchase is provided (see below). Non-furniture items are returned in good condition—unused and unwashed." Kind of seems like you either did not ask or can not read. I dont return things 3 months after buying them.

Went to Crate and Barrel to register for my wedding. I was so overwhelmed but Rob (a store associate? maybe a manager?) walked me through it. Made recommendations on the amount of stuff to get, explained the differences in certain products, found out what our entertaining styles were, and literally walked us through the entire store answering our questions and putting me at ease. I wouldve continued to put off the whole extravaganza had it not been for him talking me out of my anxiety. Plus, how much fun is that little shopping gun? MANY THANKS to Rob from Crate and Barrel.

I love Crate & Barrel. I lose track of the time when I am in here. The kitchen items are handy and sturdy. Ive only ever bought items on the first floor but they have such a variety for different styles and tastes. And some of the selection is actually quite affordable. Ive wandered up to the second floor and there are a few pieces Ive had my eye on. The customer service people are great and so willing to help. Theyve helped me to my car when I had several fragile items to carry.
