I considered not posting this review, but since Im being asked via email to do so, might as well. I dealt over the phone with Kristen Denning for my purchase from 2 hours away beginning on Friday the 22nd. I had a really hard time getting ahold of her, and would just leave multiple messages for her. Weirdly enough, she told me she had a cast on and couldnt go look at the truck to find out anything about it for me. She also seemed to be totally unaware of the process of selling a vehicle. Part of the time, I wouldnt get a call back timely enough and would just call the main line and ask for her. Strangely enough, I would get her put on the phone immediately. On Saturday at 1030am on the 23rd, I received her trade in form as somewhat of an afterthought of hers even though I had mentioned Friday I had a trade in vehicle, and I filled it out immediately. I then went to the bank and got a loan for the full amount of the vehicle if need be, and let her know I had done so and would be coming to see the truck Tuesday. I spent the rest of the day trying to get ahold of her and find out what my trade in offer would be. She promised me results in an hour but by 5pm told me she would have an offer by 6. I never heard back from her. Sunday passed with them closed and me having no offer on my trade in, which would affect my decision to purchase. On Monday she mentioned financing was available, again, as an afterthought- so that morning I gave her all the necessary information. I never heard back from her. Around 8pm that night, my phone dinged, and I saw she had texted me her loan offer. Strange way to do business, and rather rude to just text a customer in the middle of the night after not taking care of my needs during the day. On Tuesday I came up to do the deal and there was 6 inches of water puddled up in the storage compartments under the back seat of the truck I was interested in. I couldnt believe it. Kristen barely said hello to me, and just stood there idly while I looked at the truck, and could barely answer any questions I had on the vehicle. I test drove the truck, and decided to buy it. During the startup of the paperwork, Kristen just up and left to go pick up her children from somewhere! Im a family man myself, but how unprofessional. Gabby took great take care of me from there, and I realized, I just got someone new, and someone less experienced. My trade in offer had been 6,500 dollars but once my vehicle was test driven by the owner of the business, I was told that he would only give me 4,000 because he didnt care for the truck that much. I was flabbergasted. NADA rough trade in value was around $6,900. Ridiculous to offer that lower, especially with all service records. Especially with the non-negotiable internet prices of the vehicles on the lot. I basically gave my truck away and then purchased a truck full of water which of course I received ZERO discount on. Ive never had good luck with buying vehicles, so Im sure this is just my experience. But I really wanted a manual tranny diesel like I purchased so I did what I had to do. Im sure this business rarely performs like this, but it is what it is, and that was my experience.

Todo fue question de dos a tres horas para que gabby me dejara saber que el vehículo que yo había elegido podía ser mio ese mismo dia y asi fue. Gabby es muy excellente en el servicio al cliente ya que me explicó paso por paso para que yo pudiera tener lo que buscaba agradezco también mucho a Jaclyn a la asesora financiera ya que ella me dio muchas formas de elegir mis pagos mas convenientes agradesco la information que me dio ofrecerme un buen plan para proteccion para mi vehiculo tambien agradesco a Cherry del departamento de mantenimiento por todo lo que hizo para que nuestro vehículo esté en la mas forma segura para mi y mi familia Gabby , Jacklyn , Cherry espero poder elegir mi segundo vehículo en el futuro con American Auto Brokers. saludos desde Austin,Tx
We were hesitant to purchase from another auto broker since we had a bad experience in the past with purchasing a truck for my son from a broker in New Braunfels which we found out when we got home by purchasing the car fax on it that it had a blown engine. We had the dealership come to our house and tow it back and return our check. So then we purchased a truck for him at a Dodge dealership.. But this time my son found the perfect truck that he couldnt find anywhere else at american Auto Brokers online and I called and talked to Nan Dillie, She seemed to take a personal interest and wanted to make an appointment for us to come in and drive the truck. We came in last Friday while it was raining, Nan was there to greet us and had the truck pulled up in front for us to drive around on our own to get the feel of the engine and transmission and check out the interior and then we parked and checked out the oil level and looked under the hood and walked around to see if there was any damage to the truck. We were so surprised how good the condition of this truck was in and it had everything my son was looking for down to the perfect blue color. My son could not be happier if it had been a brand new truck. It is a 2005 3500 Dodge Ram Dually Crew Cab with 6 speed transmission in perfect condition.The CarFax is fully disclosed on every vehicle right on the website, you do not have to pay for it. Nan was completely professional and let us sit in her office all morning talking to us while we were waiting for the bank loan to come through then she suggested some places in the area for us to go have lunch and the paperwork would be ready when we got back. Everything went smoothly and we were treated very well there, like family. We would definitely purchase another truck there and would reccomend others to purchase a used truck there as well. Thier truck inventory has the best selection of the most popular used trucks on the market. It was definitely worth the trip into San Antonio in the rain. Marla Rechenthin 9-26-2013
