0 Estrellas!

Okay, where do I even start? I have waited 2 weeks or so to even write this review as I wanted to cool off from being so angry at the situation and write it with a level head. I find that I am just as frustrated about it two weeks later as I was when I left their lot. This is the first place and last place we went when starting to look for cars. We made this extremely clear that we didnt need to buy a car that day, we just started our search, and we didnt want to sign anything. That being said, at first they did seem very helpful, until it became clear that we werent interested in driving off the lot with a car. We were interested in a Ford Fusion hybrid that was just listed on the site. First of all, this car "just came into their lot" so it hadnt been serviced or cleaned. We even found a bloody band aid in the side of the driver door. Gross. Im not sure why on earth you would even let a customer get into a car that is at this level of grossness, the longer we sat in it the more dirt and grime I found. There was even a plastic knife in the glove box. Also, during the test drive, the check engine light came on. We asked if we could pull the code to know what it was because we werent willing to BUY THE CAR WITHOUT KNOWING what was wrong with it, which I think is perfectly reasonable. They preceded to say that since it was Sunday, the shop wasnt open (we could see and hear people inside). We tried to say can you pull the code tomorrow and give us a call? and they said, we will just write in a clause that that issue will be fixed. Still not good enough for us. They pressured us into doing a credit check after I raised concern about it and preceded to tell me that I was wrong that it would affect our credit score if we ended up not buying the car and went elsewhere needing to do another check. I am very on top of my credit and I now what the score is every week. I know what affects it. After doing the credit check, we still werent interested in buying a car we didnt know anything about what was wrong with it and we werent happy with the APR and payment amount. Then we got the bait and switch with sales people. The next lady told us we could pull the code right away (so why did we fight about it?) and then she said that they could do a "simulation financing plan" based upon what we said our credit scores were and do a check should we choose to buy the car (so why did I just give you my social to run a check that we didnt need?). Also, they kept saying its probably something stupid like the gas cap over and over. When they pulled the code, imagine that! It was the gas cap! (THIS CAR DOESNT EVEN HAVE A GAS CAP!) They said theyd take care of it and it was only a $50 fix. We still werent happy. They kept going back to let me ask you the only question that really matters, if that check engine light was taken care of and we could knock a couple thousand dollars off the price (without us even asking mind you, which makes me think, "whats wrong with the car?") is this a car you would like to own? Us saying potentially yes meant we were sold on the car to them. When I tried to get out of there by using the "lets go to lunch and discuss" card, they offered us to take the car to lunch unchaperoned. Well instead of lunch, we took it to a local professional that pulled the code to make sure it matched. It did. They said it wasnt the gas cap though and that the part alone was $75, so he didnt know how it could be only a $50 fix. We went immediately back to the dealer said we werent interested and tried to high tail it out of there. Then they preceded to try and show us more cars we werent interested in. Waste of my time. We were there probably four hours. All in all, Id say there was some pretty sketchy things going on and I wouldnt recommend them at all. Maybe its because this was my first used car salesman experience but, it highly discouraged me from continuing our search, which we havent. Also if you notice, the owner only responds to good reviews.

I bought a Cadillac Escalade from Steve Briggins Nov 2014. My husband is military and lives in Germany so all signings would happen through me but all numbers were dicussed among the men. I came in knowing exactly what I wanted, however with this being a used lot it was not gauranteed to be there. Looking through the inventory selections they did not seem to have one in my price range. Steve took me and my family on a tour of the lot to see if I found anything I liked. He did not pressure me or even try to guide me outside of the features and/or style of car I was looking for. He was aware that a sporty family car was important to me and safety was non negotiable. He is a huge family man and us relating happened immediatly. As we were looking BOOM!, there it was, my Escalade!. It was not in the inventory log because it was still new to the lot. The vehicle was missing the third row seat, stereo, and a few other little things in which Steve promised to get taken care of with no charge to what I was looking at paying. With the help of Randy we were able to agree on an AMAZING deal and signed the paperwork. Walking out the door at 11pm, Steve told me if I ever had an issue with the vehicle to feel free to give him a call as he knows his mechanics as well and he would try to help me out. A few weeks later the vehicle was making a weird noise. I called Steve at the dealership and he waited for me to get off of work to bring it in. Their service team took my car in and Steve managed to find a way to get me a rental. It was nothing special, just a trade in that had not yet been cleaned out but he provided me a gas card since it was on E and sent me on my way. I came back for my vehicle a week later with no more issues. Since then my vehicle has been on 3 roadtrips and is my everyday commuter to and from work. Steve is absolutely amazing, a true man of his word. Nothing like your usual salesmen. He listens to your needs and does his best to fulfill your expectations. He definiltely is a human being first and a salesman after. Thank you!
