Ive never had such a good experience at a tattoo shop as I did at Babylon Tattoo. Most every tattoo artist Ive met has been kind of snobby, but everyone at Babylon was very down-to-earth, are excellent artists, and affordable. My husband and I walked in not really knowing for sure what we wanted or if they would be able to even do it in the short time we were visiting the area, but they helped us figure out what would be best for the areas we wanted tattooed. I got leapord print on my arm by Mel the night we walked in and my husband made an an appointment and came back the next day to get a throat piece by Novi. Both of them did excellent work and were very friendly, talkative and professional. One look at their portfolios and I knew we were in good hands. :) I was also surprised at how quickly they were able to complete such awesome work - my arm only took about an hour 1/2 and my husbands throat piece took about 2.5 - 3 hours. I hate that were going home so soon, but we will most definitely be making the trip back as soon as possible for more! I dont wanna go anywhere else. Thanks guys. :D

Went in to find out about having a previous piercing redone. It had been closed up for about 6 years. Kelly was amazing with explaining everything and going over jewelry options and recommendations. She even offered to special order a specific jewelry type that I asked about. I hate the anxiety with getting pierced. Tattoos are much easier for me. But when I went back in(walk-in), she took a break from the tattoo she was doing, and did my piercings, all while giving my piercings her full attention. I was completely comfortable and 100% satisfied with my experience. Cant wait to go back to get some ink. Would gladly recommend Babylon to anyone!! All of the positive reviews Ive seen seem to be spot on accurate. The shop was interesting and very clean. Staff was extremely friendly, professional, and easy going. I will definitely be returning for more work. If you are looking to get pierced in the Ft. Lauderdale area, do yourself a favor and check out Kelly @ Babylon Tattoo!!

I had a terrific experience at this place. I had a botch tattoo from another store that then had a botch cover-up on top of it from yet another place. Novi was recommended to me by a friend, and he managed to create something beautiful out of the mess. I couldnt be happier! All of the artists were super friendly and willing to sit down and talk about our options for a while, and I was genuinely impressed that they all seemed to have a classical art background in addition to tattooing experience. Ive been a bit of a store jumper since I started getting tattoos mostly because I never found a place that I was completely crazy about, but now I will definitely return to Babylon for more work!!! Thanks to everyone there for a great experience and a tattoo that I can finally be proud of!

I personally dont like tattoos period. I went there and got a tattoo long story… I hate needles as well. Perhaps I do think it hurts to do a tattoo and I almost past out lol. I really enjoy the experience and I was very happy with the service, staff and my tattoo. I dont blame them for the pain and the panic I got in to it,lol. I hate needles, I hate the sound of machine and I dont like tattoos. what a great combination. I give them 5 stars they deserved it. they informed me guide me thru process, patient with me and help me when i was not feeling good. If i ever going to do again a tattoo definitely go there. Real reviews. My friend as well have a tattoo done great experience he said his didnt hurt as much, perhaps he survived, lol

My son wanted two tattoos as a HS Graduation Gift of which one was to be as a Father & Son tattoo. Living in California I wasnt familiar with any of the tattoo shops in Fort Lauderdale, FL so I Google searched some shops and determined that Babylon Tattoo was to be one of three chosen based on internet reviews, if they had a website or not and portfolios of the artists shown on their website. After further research, Babylon Tattoo won out and Joey did an AWESOME job inking me and my son. We were totally happy with the results as well as the price. Joey even stayed past closing time to accommodate us. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

I was recently tattooed by Novi at Babylon Tattoo. Novi has been tattooing for like 20 years so not only was it ABSOLUTELY EXACTLY what I wanted, but he drew it free hand!!!! -so its an original!!!! Which was important to me! I could NOT be MORE HAPPY with my tattoo color, placement, artwork, or experience! I have friends who have tattooed with the other artists at Babylon and have had the SAME experience as I did. I have since made my next apt! Review to follow! THESE GUYS ROCK!!!!!!!

I have ordered jewelry from and have been pierced by Carla, and she is absolutely splendid to work with. She is extremely patient and goes over everything with a fine tooth comb in order to make sure you get the best quality jewelry you pay for. With piercings, she checks with you during each stage of the process, and is quick and very professional. Overall, Ive loved my experiences here, the shop is clean, the people are nice, and this is my go to spot in the SoFlo area!

Where to start? This place is amazing my daughter has been coming here for years and each time she comes home with a beautiful piece of artwork. Like most mothers I wish she did not have so many tattoos but if shes going to get them I am so happy shes getting them with Mel because she is a top notch artist. Everything that she has put on my daughter is absolutely incredible. She is so amazing Im coming to get a large piece put on my upper back and arm.

Had a spur of the moment tattoo trip to Babylon just two hours before they closed. Mel was such a sweetheart and an amazing artist with a great style of tattooing. Great portraits and realism, She changed everything to be exactly what i wanted and was very professional. Will def be going back to see her for some more great pieces. Its a small shop but very down to earth and honest. Worth every penny. :)

I came by during the day and had spoken with Novis wife and she called him and booked my session with him and I couldnt have went anywhere else and got the attention Novi gave me. It was actually my daughters experience and she loved it. Carla did her nose ring and she couldnt me more please (still wondering if I left enough tips). I, myself was chatting up a storm with the in house tattoo artist Keith and if I would have had the time I would have definitely had let him work on me. All in all a great experience and friendly staff.
