Ive been in here a handful of times, usually just to shop clothes, and maybe housewares, i think. I dont think ive ever managed to buy any housewares, but ive bought a few shirts, at least. My most recent experience here was negative enough that ill not shop here again. I get the impression the employees here tend to be, or are trained to be...prejudiced. If you dont look the part of a middle-aged casually-dressed mom/housewife, you stand a good chance of being discriminated against. I was looking at some clothes on a rack, and a couple of staff members requested that i move, as they shifted away the rack i was going through. I didnt think too much of it, until it happened a second time. It would have been a little more polite to give a 30-second warning prior to pulling the rack away from a customer. I managed to find a couple of things i wanted to try on. When i went to the dressing room, there was a sign that said it was closed due to theft. So i went to the front counter, to wait in line and find out if there was any chance of trying my items on. While i was waiting, another staff member escorted a middle-aged lady to the dressing room and let her in. "Ooo, its not actually closed, we just have to check in with staff so they can keep an eye on us." So i asked the lady who had escorted the other customer to the dressing room, if i could try on my items when she got a moment. She looked me over and said no, and that they couldnt open the dressing rooms now, because theyve had problems. I was a bit shocked by the double-standard, and dropped the handful of clothes i had planned on buying. Im sorry to have financially supported this store in the past. I dont agree with unfair treatment of patrons, or discrimination, based on looks, and this store does exactly that.

This store was recommended by a friend for their kind service and flexibility on prices. In general, it looks as most thrift stores would - somewhat rummaged but generally decent items. The furniture selections were dated, but in surprisingly good condition, even with shopping around at other similar stores like St. Vinnies or Goodwill. When looking to furnish my new apartment, the sales associates took time to help me find the right couch, let me sit/lay/test it for quite a while and then gave me a VERY generous discount so that I could afford the couch that I wanted comfortably with delivery. During that delivery, they were pretty speedy and offered to help clean the scuffs (it was raining and dirt had gotten onto one side during the moving process). Im glad I went to these folks rather than buying a couch off of Craigslist.

This place is huge, so you can always find something, particularly with furniture. They have a big selection of couches and clothes and if you can catch a 50% off deal, youre gonna strike gold. When you order anything heavy they have a couple employees even come out and help you load it in your vehicle

I t could use a bit of cleaning but they had a great selection for furniture and didt over charge for anything. Like most thrift stores the shelves werent very organized but i had no trouble sifting through the shelves to find cool stuff.
