Did not get what I was sold! I thought everything had gone well. We got home with the new car, and we were happy. We had paid cash for a 2010 Ford Explorer v8, Eddie Bauer edition, or so I thought. I started to realize that I was seeing nothing in the manual or anywhere else to indicate that it was an Eddie Bauer edition. Im pretty ignorant about these things. So I started researching and figured out that we had an XLT instead of the Eddie Bauer edition. Wow! Our sales agent had told us it was an Eddie Bauer edition. I wonder what else they told us that was wrong, I thought. So I decided to verify that the engine was really a v8 like we were told. How do I figure that out? Im not a car guy. The engine only mentions 4.0L. I had to look it up to figure out that that 4.0L was a v6. More bad information from our sales agent! I then decided to do a value comparison on KBB between what we were told we were getting and what we actually got. A $2000 dollar difference!!! When I confronted the salesman about this he apologized and said he would talk to his manager. I got a call back that said they would do nothing and all sales are final. Really?!? So I went in to talk to the manager myself. I received no apology from the manager. Instead he went on to blame us for the mistake. We should have caught it ourselves, he said. While that may be true, we put our trust in the sales agent to provide accurate information, and that trust was broken. We made the purchase decision based on that bad information. I never would have bought this car at that price had I been given correct information. Now the salesman is trying to dig out of this by claiming he said he "thought" it was a v8. Not buying it, Jason. We were told Eddie Bauer and v8 multiple times. The complete unwillingness to accept any responsibility and to make this right displays a lack of integrity at the core of this business. I will never do business with this company again. Please look for a car somewhere else!

I Had a wonderful experience with Jason May @CaR city. They will absolutely go out of their way to work you into a vehicle. They have a nice selection of trucks and cars and everything that i drove during test drives were very mechanically sound clean automobiles. The rest of the staff while Jason May the sales Representative that was taking care of my budget concerns made sure to keep me comfortable and entertained and very friendly.
