Finally found our Jeep!! Weve been in the market for a Jeep for quite a while now. We were looking for specifics (Black, manual trans, four door, well appointed, clean Carfax - 2007 to 2010, right miles, right price, clean overall). We were looking for something nice enough to drive on the road occasionally, but not too fancy or costly to be afraid to take it off road and get it muddy once in a while. We only found a few that (mostly) matched what we were looking for. Sadly, most were overpriced, extremely high miles or included a problematic Carfax report - or any combination there-of. When we would try to work with the dealers, we were met with instant resistance and immediate cold shoulders to the point where we felt as if we were not even welcome. We felt like we were getting nowhere fast with stubborn, overpriced dealers. In response to my internet inquiry, I received a call from Jonny from S&H Motor Sales this morning. He indicating that they might have what we were looking for, and emailed me the info on the Jeep, several pictures as well as a clean Carfax report right away! We told them that we liked what we saw and were on our way! We made the trek from Fort Wayne to Elkhart - same day! Upon arrival at S&H, we were met by Brian Brisco with a handshake and a smile. He set us up with a test drive right away (And trusted us to take it out by ourselves - almost unheard of anymore! Kudos S&H!). We were able to put the Jeep through its trials without a salesman breathing down our necks! We were quite satisfied with the Jeep overall! We returned to the dealership and sat down to talk about a deal we could both live with. Brian was quite polite, and made the experience quite comfortable for us. Car dealerships are in the business to make a profit - thats the point of being in business! But in my experience with S&H, they are also in the business of putting you in the car you want at a very fair price! It was a nice change of pace from the countless dealers weve been trying to work with. Pleased with the Jeep and the price, we quickly sealed the deal with a good old fashioned handshake! Outstanding! If youre thinking about car shopping, it will be well worth your while to visit their website, call or stop by, even if youre having to travel there like we did. They have an exceptional selection of gently used automobiles that are priced RIGHT! Youre met with a top notch sales staff that really know what theyre doing! My Experience with S&H. Stopped in on a Tuesday to look at a car and dealt with Brian. Asking price was a bit above my max budget and after making the mistake of mentioning financials to him he immediately came down to match my budget. Then he goes on to tell me that if I dont take it today that hes sending it to auction. His exact words "They could show up at any time to pick it up". Not to be pressured, I left. Hours later I decided to follow up with him and discuss the car one more time. I decided I would at least get it checked out by a mechanic and go from there. He tells me if Im really interested hell save the car until the following day but he was still going to send it to the auction he just wouldnt sell it and he would bring it back. I told him I would be there the next day around 1pm to take to the mechanic and ended the call. The next day (Wednesday) Brian calls me at 12:36, while Im driving to his location to inform me that someone is looking at the car and they drove all the way from Chicago to test drive it. That was the last straw, used cars are a dime a dozen and this was getting ridiculous. Apparently the Chicago couple ended up buying the car. Better them than me. I will never deal with this place again. Unfortunately this is just how this industry operates regardless of how many stars they get.

My car shopping/buying experience was absolutely phenomenal! Everyone from the sales person to the office staff were so friendly and really made the process of car buying enjoyable and stress free. I really appreciated their honesty, and willingness to help me find something in my price range, that I could realistically afford and still be a perfect fit for my family, instead of trying to get me to buy more than I can afford. All my future car purchases will be here and I will continue to tell everyone that is looking for a car, or just browsing to come see these guys!

Great experience overall, couldnt recommend them more. No hassle and no unexpected extras or fees tacked on at the end of the sale like some dealerships are known to do. Probably the best dealerships in the area. Went far above and beyond my expectations in customer service by staying open much later on a Friday night just to get things squared away for us. Great vehicles at the best prices in the area. If they dont have exactly what you are looking for at the time you are there, they will get you exactly the car or truck you want. Highly recommend visiting them for your next vehicle purchase.
