I went in with a problem with the engine which they avoided till the end and I was upset about. They said I needed $1500.00 work after looking over the truck (which cost $90.00). After their inspection the problem I brought it in for was not important to them any longer and was the very last thing the at they fix which turned out to be a loose connection at the pressure sensor switch. They want your phone number when they start because the price they gave you was a starting point not a quote. The job ended up costing $2150.00 after their phone call add ons. I cant say if all the parts were needed except for a water pump. You have to take there word for it. I dont know what would happen if you said you would not pay more than the $1500.00 because they had a lot of new parts on and a lot of parts off. I was told by Heritage Ford that I did not need break pads in the front of the van at this time but if I changed the pads now that I would not need rotors. I did not need the breaks at the time. Heritage Ford turned the rotors to deep which destroyed the part. The rotors they use are very expensive. They had to replace seals rotor with labor cost $500.00. I only replaced the breaks to save the rotors at Heritage Fords recommendation. This is the first dealer I have gone to since about 1980 at a Volvo dealer and they treated me nice. I think when you are older people dont treat you with that much respect. This time at the dealer I felt like I was in their way and unimportant. I have lived in this small town for about 20 or 30 years and I still dont know that many people. Corydon is a cliquish place, our main friends are also outsiders except for the kids across the street. I think I will try a dealer in Louisville for service or Carriage Ford which I used and liked eventhough I live a mile from Heritage. I think Heritage is the worst and most expensive service I have had in my 50 years of driving. I still cant believe this mess. I was upset an they took advantage of it. Borderline crooked best describes their service. I was an upset senior and they went after me like a shark smelling blood. They would not have done this to a 20 or 30 year old person. I know the water pump needed to be replaced but that is it. They replaced the battery because they said it fall below specs but it worked fine. The breaks would have lasted me two or three years the way I drive. I suggest you getting a second opinion on any work over a couple hundred dollars because I think 80% of the work they did for me was unnecessary. Save yourself the heartache and go to a different Ford dealer for repairs.

I have never purchased a vehicle from a dealership, so I will begin my review saying that I have no other experience to compare it to. With that said, I definitely think there was some room for improvement. Prior to purchasing my Equinox, I had done my homework, so I knew a lot about the specific car I was interested in. My dad was with me and didnt know any of this info, so he asked multiple questions. The salesman didnt know many of the answers and typically answered that hed have to check the CarFax. (That is fine, but it seemed he would benefit from having more knowledge about the vehicle being sold.) I will say that he (Chris) was very friendly. A second thing that definitely needed some improvement was the detailing of the car. It was not cleaned well at all. Even Chris admitted it wasnt up to par and sent it to be cleaned before we left. Even though they cleaned it a second time, it still wasnt very clean. When I got it home and looked at it, the seats still had dirt in the seams, there were spots on my windshield and rear view mirror from the cleaner they used, there was still dust on the dash, and the front floor and mats were still decently dirty. Lastly, I have never financed a car through a dealership either because I have previously just used my credit union. Steve was the guy who went through all the financing stuff with me and he really wanted me to get the 5 year extended warranty. I told him no when we were out in the show room, but then he had to go over it again while signing paperwork. Getting the warranty was going to take my monthly payments about $23 over what I wanted to pay, so again I declined. Steves response was, "Youre crazy, Rochelle." It caught me so off guard, I couldnt even think to respond. So, although this experience wasnt terrible, I definitely think there are things that need to be worked on regarding customer service.

Terry Elliott salesman and General manager were quick to make us feel at home and at ease. They have a no pressure, small town, family feel with this dealership. We showed up 30 min before closing. Thinking we would just get a chance to look at the two vehicles we saw online. I was interested in the 2016 Ford Escape and the 2012 Ford Edge. The staff was quick and helpful in pulling both cars right up to the front door. So I could get a side by side comparison. I knew very quickly that I was more interested in the Red Ford Edge for my growing family. Terry offered for me to test drive, even though by this time it was their closing time. And reassured me they would stay as along as they needed. When it came to getting a fair price the dealership was willing to work with us. We do feel we got a great fair price. We had a great overall experience. We will be in the market for another vehicle this year and will definitely go back. On a side note I had my 3wk old baby and they let my nurse in a back office with privacy while the paperwork was getting filled out.

Bought a 2012 Fusion from Heritage Ford in Corydon, Indiana on 11/11/15. Everyone we dealt with was great from Tamis prompt email replys, Dale our salesman who was great at going over everything with my wife and I. Steven who took care of the loan papers quick and painlessly. Bob who while not directly involved with our buying process was wonderful to chat with and made us feel at home. Plus Randy and Richard everyone was very nice. Ask for any of them by name and they are right there to help you. All that added to a great price on a certified pre-owned fusion and I can honestly say we would tell friends and family Heritage Ford in Corydon, Indiana is the place to go to be treated right, have all your questions answered and be worked with every step of the way and in "NO" way feel pressured. Just Good folks, Good prices, Good cars. Those Three things I look for when buying a car or anything for that matter and "HERITAGE FORD" Gets my A+......After reading this I see it kind of sounds like an advertisement BUT it is not just the truth

I had already been to neil huffman honda as well as carmax to trade my car in. Nothing worked out with either of those two. I received an email from heritage after i blue booked my car so I thought lets give it a shot. They were able to get me out of my basic kia forte with no gadgets, power locks, windows, etc into a barely used ford escape sel fully loaded. From email to meeting them in person they were definitely the nicest car people I have ever worked with. Bonnie helped me get my car appraised at a great price. Mike the manager helped bonnie get me the best rate for my car as well as a phenominal rate on my escape. Terry showed me around and answered any questions I had. Joi in finance talked me through this financing with ease and explained best what i actually needed on my car and what I didnt. Unlike most car places they were not pushy at all. Going to heritage ford was the best choice I could have made. If I need a new car in the future they will be my first choice!
