i purchased a 2011 Mb from this dealership. when i went to see the car and take it for a test drive, they were so polite and courteous. i found a few problems with the vehicle. the sales persons immediate response was, i do not feel it, but if this is what you feel, we will take of every thing. i said find. after negotiations wich lasted two days, we agreed on the price, pending i will take the care for an inspection and MB dealership. they agreed, and i paid for the inspection. the sales person, promised to do all the repairs at their Bridgewater MB facility. the list of repairs included alignment, replacement of breaks, checking and repairing the shaking in the vehicle when applying breaks, transmission oil change, replacement of spark plugs which i agreed to pay for. after a week, they called me and said the vehicle is ready, we took care of every thing. i went to pay and immediately i discovered there were hidden fees of dealership in the amount of 498 dollars, another fees for security system they installed on the vehicle without my approval, registration fees of 200 (although the dmv fees are 149), detailing of the car 95, etc. if felt deceived that no one had ever mentioned those hidden fees. in the end, i paid all the fees and the agreed upon price. i took the vehicle drove for two miles, and then had to go back to the dealer. the shaking when applying the breaks was still there and strongly felt even at a low speed. when i confronted them and said you promised to take care of every thing, which is not true. the manager, with a innocent voice, asked me if i took the vehicle for a test before paying. i said no, i trusted you. well they asked me to bring the vehicle the next day and promised they will fix it. the next day, instead of replacing the front rotters and pads, they replaced the rotters only and left the uneven old pads on. i became frustrated, took the vehicle and drove home. the vehicle did not drive smoothy. i assumed it is due to the after market cheap tires and installed. next day, i went to Costco and purchased Michelin tires. while installing the tires they the technician found that two of the rims were bent and this is why the drive is not smooth. today, o went to the dealer, asking them to repair the rims at no cost and they refused. they argued it was not included in the repairs although i have from the dealer a three month warranty. nothing helped, there was no way to convince them that this problem was mentioned after i took the car for a test drive when i drove it on the first day. my attempts to convince them to take responsibility, made them more aggressive and said we cannot take responsibility on someone else wok-- implying Costco. overall, my experience with this dealership was very painful and unpleasant, in spite of the fact that i paid them top dollars for the vehicle.

I never filled out one of these surveys at the time of receiving the request as I had always hoped my multiple trips to the dealer would ultimately solve the problems Id been having with my car, and didnt want to leave negative feedback. I bought my car from Open Road Cadillac a year ago, under a CPO warranty. When I test-drove the car, I liked it but the brakes had issues. When I completed my purchase I learned of a hefty "reconditioning" fee, in addition to the premium youre already paying to get a Certified Pre Owned car. When I drove the car off the lot, I could tell the brakes still were not fixed. The GPS also suddenly had a scratch in it. I brought it back and they said they replaced the pads. Im not an expert and couldnt prove that, but the braking issue was fixed (though probably due to brake line, not brake pads). The GPS unit wasnt ready, so that was another trip. They did make good on a new GPS unit, which was great. On another trip in for an oil change, I made mention that I was still hearing a rubbing and a squealing sound coming from the wheel wells. The dealer couldnt pin point anything and just did the oil change. Fast-forward to two weeks ago, and I needed another oil change. I brought my car back to the dealer, not realizing that my "premium service" had lapsed, and oil changes and brake issues were no longer covered. I then brought the car to a local mechanic, and they were able to identify the cause of the brake noise, and also indicated that one of my rims was bent, likely since the time of purchase. If Open Roads staff would have given my brakes a more thorough look, I wouldnt be paying for the services I’m paying for today (rotors/brake pads). Im just extremely disappointed with how my relationship with the dealer has been handled. The reconditioning fees after paying for a CPO warranty left a bad taste in my mouth, and the inability to bring my car to the working level I would expect from a luxury dealership is insulting as well. Im really hoping that Open Road makes good on the customer relationship should i have any mechanical problems in the remaining two years of my CPO warranty, but Im not overly optimistic.

Let me start out by saying I hate sales tactics more than anything else in the world. I can tell when someone is trying to get one over on me, and when people try to play me for a fool, I get ugly. That being said, I was originally in the market for a Toyota, however the salesmen were the worst , bottom of the barrel leechy scummy scripted jerks Ive ever encountered. Ive had the pleasure of working with an ex dealership finance manager as well so Im well in tune with the crap these people try and pull. Open Road Cadillac is the exact opposite of everything I hate above. Everyone here is AMAZING. No gimmicks, no sales pitches, NO PRESSURE. I had the pleasure of working with Chris , and it was literally like sitting down to lunch with a friend and talking about cars. I had some reservations about the SRX I ended up buying, and instead of dismissing my doubts and buttering me up with one liners , he simply said "yeah, understand completely, that does suck." What a breath of fresh air to be able to speak to an actual human being and not a puppet. Even when it came down to signing papers, anything extra I asked to have removed was done so with no added hassle. Instead of being pressed to buy an extended warranty , my finance guy said "hey, you have 2 months, do some research and figure out whats best for you." Because of this respect, when I do buy a warranty I absolutely will go through him to do it. The buying process was less than 2 hours, and during that time everyone at this dealership was happy to entertain my restless 4 year old which made the purchase that much more enjoyable. Im confident that when my car does need service that Ill be treated with the same respect and kindness as I was during my purchase. If youre in the market for a car, please at least stop in here! Even if you dont leave with a Cadillac, youll leave with a better understanding of how you should be treated as a customer. Thanks chris!
