I have been purchasing and leasing cars for the last 22 years. Every car buying experience is different. One thing I always feel uncomfortable in common is dishonesty, pressure from sales and then when the deal is done, another wave of pressure you get from the finance manager during closing to make an additional profit. I understand that car buying experience is always a tag of war between the dealer and the buyer since the dealer wants to make as much of a profit versus the buyer who always wants to pay less. However, in most cases, this tag of war goes beyond being a pleasant experience that whenever I have another car due for purchase, the stress related to choosing a dealer and the hassle of dealing with the sales person is overwhelming. Another frustrating point to car buying is when I, as a buyer have done all my homework of gathering enough information of market values, expected payments, financing rates, car options and current inventory status of a particular dealer find out that the sales person is either less knowledgeable than me or is deliberately hiding that obvious information to try and make a better deal that would benefit the dealer beyond the norm or market average. Some dealers even go to the extent and try to make you believe that there are additional fees like window etching, new car prep detailing and even protection packages fees that are built into the car and has to be part of the selling price without room to exclude or not buy at the buyer’s discretion. My experience with Prestige Volvo is the best dealer experience I have ever had in my 22 years of car buying/leasing. The offer, counter-offer back and forth process was smooth, all numbers were presented to me was in a transparent manner, I was not pushed to buy add-ons I did not want and there was no unpleasant pressure I could feel from the sales person and also with the finance manager at closing. Most part of my deal back and forth was made via e-mail which was my preferred method of communications since I dont like making personal calls during work hours and the honest explanation I was receiving as to why my selling price and monthly payment had been reached to an agreeable point was also transparent and crystal clear. Other Volvo dealers out there simply did not prefer to communicate with me via e-mail, provided automated answers that were totally off from what I was requesting or asking and/or were hesitant in providing me with transparent written information over e-mail. During closing, finance manager was willing to listen to my needs rather than convince to sell me something that I did not need. I ended up purchasing a lease protection package due to my needs. These are one of the main reasons I gave my business to Prestige Volvo even when I knew that Prestige Volvo was not the dealer giving me the best deal of the century. I had better pricing offers out there but the most important part of being transparent and honest made Prestige Volvo my choice. Will keep posting on how my service experience goes at Prestige Volvo.

I had a great experience buying my CPO 2013 XC60. I had been to this dealership prior with my father, years ago, and we were basically snubbed the three times we went. He had wanted to purchase an XC90. However, upon researching for my "new" car, I came across the XC60 this dealership had in stock. It had just about everything I wanted in it, and loaded with safety features. I was a little apprehensive at first, remembering our past experiences, but I took a shot in the dark and emailed the dealership through AutoTrader (where I had found the car). Rebecca DiFede responded back to me within an hour or so to answer my questions and provided great customer service. I was very surprised to get a response so quickly. After corresponding with Rebecca, I made an appointment to discuss the vehicle with a salesman and find out more about it, including pricing. I went to my appointment and was met by Ron Landstrom as my salesman. He was extremely nice, respectful, funny, and knowledgeable. I didnt even really have to ask any questions because he answered them before I was able to ask. He went over every detail and feature of the car, and everything about the CPO warranty and certification process. The test drive was nice, as Ron had planned a nice route where I could really drive the car for a good amount of time. It also turned out at his previous company, Ron was the representative that my fathers company bought items from. We had no idea, until talking with Ron and finding out his sales background. Small world. The buying process was quick and painless and PJ Lee and Ron helped me get financing. We were offered a $300 discount on my car, which was lovely, as well as a $300 discount an extra warranty that covered the tires of my car, among other things. This was my first time purchasing my own car and I had such a great experience here. Its very clear that things have changed (for the better) since the last few times my father and I went here. It looks like they cleaned house and got new management, and they did a great job picking their staff. Everyone is kind, smiles, and says hello to you when you walk in. It was a completely different experience this time around. I loved it. Ron made sure to tell me that if I needed anything, or had any questions, to let him know and hed be there for me. I love my Volvo, and Im so happy to have gotten it from a Dealership who cares about their clients.

My husband Brian and I recently purchased a new 2016 Volvo XC90 T6 AWD in Magic Blue with amber leather interior, the Momentum Plus and Vision Packages, along with a wood steering wheel, 19" wheels, Apple Carplay, and the Homelink option. Our salesperson, Deborah Amster, was an ABSOLUTE PLEASURE to work with and was extremely honest and so friendly! We were willing to wait the 3 months it would take to get the specific XC90 that we wanted, and Deborah communicated with us often about when it would be arriving at the dealership. She went above and beyond to find us a vehicle with the EXACT specifications and options that we were looking for without trying to "oversell" options or packages that she knew we didnt need. In fact, she saved us over $5,000 in total between bringing down the cost of the vehicle and throwing in a package at no extra cost. The $1,000 Volvo loyalty credit along with our $2,500 trade-in helped bring the cost down even more. She also kept us informed weekly about a delay in shipping our new XC90 due to a computer system conversion delay at the dock on Volvo Corporations end. Once our car arrived, there was a seamless transition between meeting with the financial manager at Prestige, to filling out the final paperwork, getting the temporary license plates, and then finally sitting in the drivers seat! Deborah spent several hours with me and took me through a very extensive demo of the cars functions, controls, computer system, etc. and went over all interior details. After I arrived home, Deborah contacted me the very next day to see how things were going with the new car and told me to stop by the dealership ANY TIME to go over any items that I may not fully understand. In addition, I have come to know the service manager (Jay Rosen) and service representatives (Pat and Bill to name just two) by name. They ALWAYS have a loaner vehicle available when we need our car serviced (we had a 2004 XC90 prior to the new one) and are extremely accommodating! The dealership has always been clean, organized, and very welcoming and it offers free WiFi, beverages and snacks, televisions, and a lovely comfortable waiting area. The dealership has recently undergone some major renovations and remodeling and the showroom and service areas are absolutely stunning! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Prestige Volvo (and Deborah!) to anyone who is looking to purchase a Volvo vehicle!
