I brought in a 2014 Toshiba laptop with Windows 8. I needed $200 in a pawn. I spoke with Katrina and she was very nice and very helpful. She told me that she could do $150 and I was going to get that. Well Melissa came out of no where and just blurted out that I could only get $100. She did not greet me, introduce herself, look at the item, or anything. She was extremely rude and kept telling me that she cant sell the ones they have so what is the point? I told her that Im pawning it and not selling it. She said she didnt care and she would only do $100. I asked to speak with her manager and she said that there is no one above her and that the only other person has stepped out. Katrina told me that she would be back later and I could speak with her then. Melissa again spoke up and blurted out that she wasnt coming back today. Overall, she was extremely rude and disrespectful and I never want to deal with her again because she never apologized or anything or even introduced herself. I cannot beleieve the level of poor customer service I recieved from her. I work in Customer Service and I would never think about talking to someone that way. If you do go, never deal with her. In my opinion, she should not be allowed to have direct customer contact.

I love this place. It is one of my favorite stops and Shondra is always there to help. All pawn shops do their wheeling and dealing but I have never felt like i was getting the short end of the stick at Big Deals. Though I have never pawned anything (Im a buyer) I have seen hundreds come in with their valuables and the are treated with respect and never seem to leave unhappy. I have also witnessed patrons who have been behind on payments given extra time and leeway not seen in other shops. I also just like the people who work here. Im acknowledged when its busy, i can haggle a bit on price. and its all done with respect. this is a business that deals in cash and loans and some reviewers seem to get their panties in a knot because they dont like the price offered for their goods, but Deals always treats their customers with respect: happy or irate. Thats a fact! No cranky old men or shady characters here.....Characters yes, shady no!

Pawn Shop is a SCAM all of the employees are Scam Artist who try to rip you off. ive sold to them before regretfully and today i go to sell something and they are not willing to give me 45% retail they offered 40% and would not go higher which is ridiculous since its 5 dollars either way they are making a marginally well difference. the minute i walked in the employee i dealt with some big guy doesnt know what the product is even though its known every where he asks his employees who then begin to low ball me when i decline he decides to advise me they are coming out with a newer version soon. which is not what i asked him nor was it necessary to chastise a customer trying to sell a product if i refuse shut up and let me walk out. i am extremely unhappy with this location and believe these scam artists will get their day.

i love the experance there they are very helpful. Very understanding they always call me when my lawns are due. They always offer my top doller for all my stuff rather it is a pawn or a lawn Shawn is very helpful as well as Kat,is the ring girl if you go in to shop for rings or chains(ask for Kat ) they will bring it down to bottom dollar cash out the door,never a disappointment (,Eddie) is new but learning(,whip) he is alright always has whip speacials Ray will size any ring you need one size free as long as bought from them ,Jamie is kinda hard to deal with but he has knowleage as well. Frank good on outside stuff Whip is very good with outside merchadise,and the boss Saaran is very nice very help full always . I havent been to there other shop but im sure it is great!!!!!!

Im just gonna let this speak for itself. I was trying to pawn a 2008 MacBook Pro, brand new hp stream, and sell an Xbox 360. I was offered literally under 150 bucks for all three. REALLY?? The MacBook retails for 500 in its condition, and the other two items should have been at least a 100. I was offered less than 30% of the retail price of the used MacBook for all three items. EDIT: Shawn, the store manager did contact me after reading this review which is why I am giving this place 4 stars instead 1. He wanted to make it up to me anyway he could, which is customer service that you dont usually see. The fact that he actually reads reviews and follows up with people makes me want to give this place a try again in the future.

I went to pick up a bow that I had on lay-way. I got the bow and its wasnt the right bow. I had put a right handed on lay-way and got back an left handed. The bow I got was and Diamond Core and the Diamond Provider. Its all good. Still I got the better deal. The reason I know it was the wrong bow, as soon I left that shop and went to another store to but the light that was needed for Provider. Also an Camo arrow rest because it was black. All I have to say, what you put on layway, you better get it in written what type of item it is and an number of it. I bet that will never happen again. What I brought, I had to take it all back and buy upgrade items.

I was several weeks ago in Big Deal store looking for Jaime. Some other people were looking for him too and I heard one guy talking with the bold guy with beard trying to find out were Jaime was. So the bold guy said he is the manager and he can help him , and that Jaime knows nothing about guns. We were in shock hearing the manager talking bad about Jaime and laughing on Jaimes account. That was so unprofessional and with such of luck of Ethics. A store manager talking bad about his employees? Jaime , in my humble opinion adds maturity and professionalism to this place. That was so sad, the owner should be more selective.

Every time I go in, no matter what I need, I always ask Jaime Banquez. He has always helped me the best he can doing the most he can for me out of all the other employees. I have always gotten excellent customer service from him. Jaime is always extremely happy and always has a smile on his face. I think he does a great job every time I see him and he always try to go above and beyond for me. Im pretty sure he does it for everyone but it always makes me feel special when he does it. Like weve known each other forever. Thank you for everything. I really appreciate it. He always makes my bad days better. :)

First time that I visit a pawn shop in my entire life, this store looked neat and clean BUT I was more impressed by the professionalism, the kindness, and integrity of one its employees. I read the tag and his name said jaime. The way he treated me showed the kind of person he is. And when I left the store, he said to me "God bless to you and your family, drive safely, and I expect to see you soon!" That is the kind of employee that represents a company. Whoever is the store manager there should hire more employees like him. I will definitely return with my wife and kids and I will ask for him!!!
