Macomb mall has gone through a lot of changes for better or worse. The interior has been revamped and looks much nicer and more open then its previous incarnation. Media stores and toy stores have been absent for a long time, there are 2 pretzel shops and a Charleys inside so not much variety but there is a good pizza spot attached to the mall. The cinema was torn down, The pet store is gone as is the partystore that used to be by Olgas (which of course is also gone)..The little Caesars disappeared as did National Coney. The woman oriented and clothing stores are doing well still and Lastly, there is a large sport outlet . Anyways it pains me to say but Macomb Mall has lost most of its charm and i miss the version that i grew up with that had much more variety. That being said, judging it on its own, apart from its past, it is a solid place to do some shopping for clothes nowadays that is admittedly brighter and more modern looking.

All the renovation updates do improve the look of the mall. However, I think they have too many shoe stores competing in one small mall. The worst part is the lack of refreshments in the mall. One time I walked into the mall to shop, I felt a little thirsty and would like to try some nice drinks, they only have one food/drink place and you have to walk all the way to that one corner of the mall and line up to get your order. They used to have a nice delicious convenient food/drink stand in the middle of every hall, dont know why its gone now. It would be nice if they have a food court just like all the other malls nowadays. That would increase traffic flow tremendously, who doesnt like food when they go shopping!?

The updates to this classic Macomb County shopping mall now provide a beautifully-appointed spot to stroll and window-shop, fill your closet with the latest fashions or snag that perfect gift. New stores have joined the anchor businesses in an impressive array of variety with an open, modernized feel, thanks to new flooring and oases of seating--all former aisle clutter and sometimes-invasive hawkers are gone. You wont have to brave insane traffic to get to the hinterlands anymore for H & M, Ulta or Dicks, while favorites like Kohls and Sears have remained locally. Dont leave without trying Auntie Annes Pepperoni Pretzel with dipping sauce--A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

I am teetering on the fence here. I grew up in the area and 20 to 25 years I spent a lot of time at this mall. It has went through a number of changes over the years, some for the better and some for the worse. There has been a big push to improve the appearance of the mall, and on the surface they have succeeded. The problems I see are the stores in the mall are very limited, not a large variety of store types. There is really no food choices in the mall, you really have to go outside or across the parking lot. No coney, no olgas, no charlies, no little Caesars, there is 2 pretzel places though.

To be honest, Im not sure how this mall stays open. As a kid growing up, I lived down the street and this mall was as booming as Oakland Mall or even Lakeside, but now I just dont know how it stays open. It doesnt have very many well known stores in it at all, the Sears is messy and the Kohls thats attached to it is a mad house. There is an Old Navy inside as well. The surrounding area includes a Red Robins and a Del Taco!! (one of the only ones this side of the Mississippi). There is no food court in this mall and I dont consider this area a very safe place to shop.

I love the remodeling at the Macomb Mall it looks real good its a shame the bus is cant drop the people off at MaComb Mall like they did like 10 years ago its the owner that dont want the buses going to Macomb Mall because of the the guy that owns Macomb Mall owns Lakeside so the customer has to go and do some shopping at MaComb Mall hes got to walk through the parking lot if its pouring down rain time he gets to Macomb Mall hes soaking wet

While there isnt a Dollar Show or food court there anymore, the improvements of the shots are very impressive! It seems like they have shifted the entryway of the mall to be closer to the Dicks versus the Sears side....but it makes sense seeing that Sears will be closing soon. The additions of Torrid, H&M and Ulta have really piqued my interest! Bring back some great eateries and this will be a mall to rival others further North

Macomb mall used to be a hotspot, the operative word being used to. After removing the extremely cheap theater, the Jeepers, the Little Ceasars, and most of the other locally beloved business the impressive restoration project seems like a lie. While new stores may be popping up they do not fit the wants or needs of the local community, and seem a ploy to draw in a "higher class of client".

Macomb has came a long way. Adding more stores and one of my favorite stores Torrid before coming here I would have had to go to Lakeside or Great Lakes Crossing mall. I also like the Old Navy and Ulta stores. Only 4 stars because Im a little disappointed with the removal of Silver Cinema which I think the $1.50 movies no longer exist. The addition of Aunti Annies is a nice touch too.

For a smaller Mall It has the important major stores you need. You can do some good shopping if you cant get out to Twelve Oaks or live on the Eastside but dont want to drive to Lakeside. They have most of the same stores. They are always adding new stores and its much higher quality than it used to be due to the new ownership.

This mall has made many improvements over the past few years. My experience is nothing less than good when ever I go. I love kohls, lids, champs, shoe carnival, rue 21, Ulta for my lady, ! H&M, spencers and the underground station. They also have many restaurants out in front of the mall. Come and check it out.

I used to love this mall but throughout the years the place has become filthy. The stores have all gone downhill with quality and there is many young trouble makers that hang around. The bus stop outside the mall creates an annoying parking lot. Overall I dont shop there ne more if I want quality clothing

This mall is the mall Id always go to when growing up, its the closest mall to me..Im glad theyve got rid of sears lol hopefully they will replace sears with Forever21!! or put a Macys in the mall :) however this mall has became a little ghetto over this past year & prone to be having a brawl soon.

Mall is okay. Nothing special. It doesnt have many stores inside, but its neat and pretty quiet. No Forever 21, no Windsor, no Macys, etc. But has stores youd typically find in an outlet mall. The mall is otherwise pretty empty. Does have an arcade/play place, food, nail salon, the basics.

This is a small older mall that has been renovated and rebuilt and redecorated several times as shops moved out and changed locations. Its easy to walk through the mall and see the variety of shops, with some bigger stores to explore like the newer Dicks sporting goods store and Ulta.
