I went to the bathroom to wash my hands, once there, i realized that i got to watch out myself when it comes to buy my meat, produce, dairy ....cause its bathroom was filthy, dirty, I WONDER IF STOP AND SHOP EMPLOYEES EVER WASH THEIR HANDS?????? !!!!!MANAGER DONT MIND KEEPING THE RESTROOM CLEAN I GUESS HES TO BUSY?? BTW, I WOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN IN THE STOP AND SHOP BATHROOM IN THE FIRST PLACE, IF IT WERENT FOR THE FILTHY, NAUSEATING, DIRTY RECYCLE PLASTIC BOTTEL ROOM THAT STOP AND SHOP KEEPS IT SO PROUD BY THE ENTRANCE DOOR !!!!..THE RECYCLE BOTTLE ROOM IS ATROCIOUS!!!!! AND DISCUSTING!!!!!THE FLOOR IS WHITE BUT HAS TURN OUT TO BE BLACK!!! FULL OF MUCK AND MIRE !!!!A DISCUSTING PLACE TO BE IN!!!@

After having a couple of rough experiences here subsequent trips have been much better. The staff here are very friendly and extremely helpful. Ive gotten some really great produce here too(blueberries and strawberries in particular). Cheapest per-liter price on lemon-lime Seltzer I can find. The customers have a habit of abandoning items and taking the self checkouts out of service, but besides a good beating I dont think this can be fixed.

Good for fresh produce, some International specialities, basic flour, sugar type items; Have not bought meat, seafood here in a long while (except for name brand ham shank and some carefully chosen frozen shrimp! Costco, less then a few minutes away, has fresher meats. I mingle between Costco, Stop and Shop and one secret chain in Stamford, CT that can sometimes create an almost perfect shopping experience!

Mostly clean very busy market with free parking. The parking lot is very busy, dont bother going on Sunday after noon when even with every register open there is a line at every check out. The yogurt section cant be filled quick enough on Sunday after noon. The organic section is small but there is a good two aisles of natural foods and products. Prices are very competitive for the area.

As with most big grocery stores its the attention to detail that this one lacks. Very busy on the weekends around noon and be lucky if someone could find anything or point you in the right direction. Produce stockers are usually on Bluetooth headset and pretend to ignore you as they talk to their friends on the phone.

The four stars I give this place are relative to other Stop & Shops in the area. Its still not an amazing grocery store, but its definitely much better than the other S&Ss nearby. The parking garage makes it more pleasant in the winter and summer months, giving you a little respite from the unfavorable weather.

This stop and shop use to make me cringe everytime i had to enter. I still do a little. I wish they kept things a little cleaner, especially their entrance. Employees are helpful, their produce sections have gotten way better. I wish they put more people on the register and not only when its a busy holiday.

Filthy and unsanitary restrooms. Seems like this store has a hard time keeping stock items in stock, especially dairy section. Hot food area is subpar, bakery dept does not produce enough rolls or selections daily afternoon shopping finds most things out or not available. This place definitely slipping.

I live in Port Chester and i always come here. I do almost all my shopping here great place and the people who work here and really nice. The worst part about going here is the parking but besides that it great.
