I got food from the self serve hot buffet and waited on line at the express checkout in the hot buffet area. There are 2 cash registers and I got on line behind a man paying at one of them. Cameron, who was the cashier, clearly saw me standing there. A woman came up to stand on line behind the person paying at the other register. When my turn came, Cameron turned towards the woman standing on line at the other register, and said "next" without looking at me. The woman who was there pointed to me and said "she was before me." Only then did Cameron turn to acknowledge me, and said "the line is over there" and took the other woman ahead of me. She had a smirk on her face when she did it. It was unbelievable. There is no signage to tell you where the line is supposed to be, and it would have been easy for her to just tell me during the time I was waiting in what I thought was the line. It was such a silly thing, but it was like she got a charge out of being irrationally controlling and rude. Not something Id expect from a ShopRite employee. I wont be shopping here for lunch again, just because she was so irritating.

The White Plains ShopRite offers an outstanding dietitian service. The service has been a useful, much needed added value. It is always reassuring to know that while you are food shopping you can always address any nutritional, health related concerns with a professional. Ever since I notice the registered nutritionist office at the store, I was curious as to how much I could learn or consult, or how much support could I get to improve my healthy food shopping experience. I started by sending an email to the nutritionist office, and I was very surprised by the fast response to my inquiry. Then I had the opportunity of meeting Stacey L Jackson, M.S., R.D. in person, and then again I was pleasantly surprised by her extremely professional, helpful and supportive handling of my all my concerns. I am a diabetic and I definitely look forward to a healthy relationship with your store and its R.D. Mrs. Jackson. The White Plains ShopRite has become my favorite supermarket!

Correct Store hours Sun - Sat 7:00 AM - 12:00 AM Pharmacy Hours Sunday 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Mon - Fri 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM Saturday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM I enjoy working at Shoprite of White Plains, NY. I get to meet new people and help them out on the Self Checkout. If you think I am posting because a manager asked me to post your incorrect. I am posting because I wanted to relay my experience as a Associate of Shoprite. I do my very best to make sure all Customers have a pleasant experience when they deal with me as there Cashier or Self Checkout clerk. If you do come in and I am your Cashier and you think I need to improve please feel free to provide me pointers or tips I be happy for your suggestion from you.

The problem at this location is a male employee in the Produce Section who routinely is "hitting on" all the females shopping alone who attract his attention. He has annoyed my wife with his unwanted advances on multiple occasions - as recently as several days ago. I called and spoke with a manager about it who acted surprised and seemed eager to do something about it. Obviously he hasnt done enough. ShopRite is conveniently located across the street from us, but I suppose we will need to shop elsewhere if staff cannot respect customers enough to behave courteously and appropriately.

Terrible customer service. Got the lunch buffet with my my mom, grandmother, and aunt. My mom purchased an orange juice. I kindly asked if they minded giving me a few cups, as they wanted to split the OJ. Keep in mind, this is a fresh squeezed OJ from the lunch buffet, not OJ from the super market. They very rudely said they wont give me a cup, but I can pay a dollar PER cup. Staff needs training on interacting with customers. Store management needs updated policy and training on customer experience.

Clean, big, organic produce and organic packaged, refrigerates and frozen goods. A big supermarket with lots of stuff at favorable prices compared to other supermarkets. A pharmacist (fill your prescription while you shop), a dietitian table during certain hours, bakery, fresh seafood, a big deli/prepared food counter, cheese counter. A definite best bet for supermarkets around here.

my experience today was unpleasant to a certain extent. iI asked for help several times from employees and i kept gettin directed to the wrong isle, until an associate by the name of Tasheem assisted me by getting the item that i needed. It was difficult for me to find the items on my WIC check because the sign werent there anymore to suggest what item were included.

Be prepared to wait a long time to checkout. My wife refuses to shop here anymore because of this very reason. They have 20 something checkout lanes with never more than a few open. Why not convert a couple to self-checkout lanes? Its still better than the Walmart zoo across the street though, where employees scream profanity and throw their own feces.

Very clean store, friendly cashiers, lot of products from "regular" to organics ones. If you spent more than $20, theyll reimburse your parking payment. You can also eat something before/after shopping, just pick something from their many options and take a sit at their food court.

Clean and well organized store, meat department superior to many other supermarkets I have seen. Seafood very fresh. Could do better on the produce section, not varied and prices are higher than everywhere else. Great sales every week as well.

The story really needs to get new and different soup options at the salad bar. How about a meat based chili. Or something with beef in it. Chicken soup and three bean chili is getting real old.

Cleaned and well organized. And I love the parking and the experience. I usually shop on Sunday. And spend 30 minutes to an hour at shoprite.

Half the employees are always standing around near the many empty checkouts. Always lines to checkout. Self checkout is dysfunctional.
