I found what I was looking for and it was not a bad price. However, I found a lot of the other items in the store to be very overpriced , and the woman at the register was very rude to me when I decided I didnt want one of the items I brought up to the front because I felt it was too expensive. When a person works in customer service, they need to keep their personal opinions to themselves and speak ONLY on behalf of the company they represent and its policies. What happened to being polite and courteous? Are we that far out there that we cant even treat a stranger the way that we would want to be treated? If this company would kindly pull this particular cashier away from the register permanently, and stick her in the back room away from any kind of customer interaction, I would gladly return and change my rating to 5 stars. She usually works till closing and was the only person on the register around closing time on Friday may 18th 2017. She is very under qualified in dealing with the public and their needs.

I have had numerous trips to get the correct paint, This last trip we are saying it is too grey and the guys "and if you were a painter you know the color wont match for days cuz it has cut/dry properly". Who has ever heard of such a thing !!n I was looking at the spinners while checking out and the cashier told "Dont but those, they are just a waste of your money". I was returning stain they asked when it was purchased, I give the approx date and they see it in the computer, and it still was a challenge to get a return/exchange The way these folks talk to customers is so NON-PROFESSIONAL. All I can say. I will NEVER shop at an ACE hardware store anywhere in the country now, from my experiences of today and my five trips. Still not sure the have the paint. He has a sample drying under a blower which he states twenty minutes to dry. I think this guy is given no me the business, as we all know it does not take 20 minutes

Been to many Ace Stores. They are handy, local, helpful but cost a little bit more. Well, worth it in my mind. This store is the best of the best. I am as handy as a wet noodle. They have guided me and even told me that I would have to go to Home Depot because they did not have the items (even though they seem to have much more than any other Ace Stores I have ever seen). They immediately gained my family respect years ago. One problem: that advertising jingle still rings in my head daily! ACE IS THE PLACE! How do I remove that?

Most products are in locked shelves so you need to find an employee to get them for you. If you can find one, (rarely more than one or two people walking around helping customers, even on weekends) they are very rude. One employee replied "go find someone else" when I asked if he would open a locked cabinet. Ive tried this place multiple times, and I wont be returning again.

Went by to see and hear the bird perform, announcing for available help with the customers! The store is good for regular and specialized hardware and a whole lot more.
