Walking into this place is like walking into heaven for beer and wine lovers. There are so many choices and its all laid out in a nice organized manner. There are always people willing to help, recommend beers or wines and they always have beer and wine samples. Ive been going to Total Wine for a number of years now and theyve been able to special order beers for me even though the state of Maryland has some ridiculous laws on the books. The place is clean, the isles arent over cluttered and you get discounts when you buy cases. The people working at Total Wine arent snobs either! I happen to love a specific wine which is only $5/bottle and will get a couple cases each time I visit. Ive never been looked down upon or received any other negativity when Ive asked someone to get up on the ladder and pull me down a couple cases of what some would call "swill." If you havent been to Total Wine you are missing out!! They are in their new location just down from Target which is an excellent upgrade from the other building. Stop by, chat up some people, try some sample, pick up a few bottles and repeat a few weeks later. Highly recommended!

I visited here for the first time since Ive moved here this past month (October 2016) to look for a red wine I enjoyed at a local restaurant a few weeks ago. I was very lucky to find it and it was priced quite nicely compared to the hiked-up restaurant price. :) Besides a vast variety of wines, they also have quite a selection of other types of alcoholic beverages as well as cups/glasses in which to enjoy said alcohol of your choice. One fabulous detail I noticed was that there was no short supply of assistance to help you find for what you were looking. There were times, in fact, that it almost felt like there was an assistant for every 4 customers. This was VERY helpful when searching for the particular wine for which I was searching. The few that I talked to were also helpful in helping me find another different red that was willing to chance a try at, to a good end. Thank you! Note, they have recently moved down the shopping center to the right if youre facing the storefronts!

This place is like Target for alcohol. They have about 20 aisles of beer, wine, liquor, and more in a giant store- the aisles are so long theyre broken into about 3 sections. The checkout lines always go quickly, they have empty boxes to help you more easily load up your car, they have free wine tasting events, and they have VERY good prices. I go here all the time to find limited edition or small batch craft beers that I cant seem to find anywhere else. They also let you build your own 6-packs out of the hundreds of beers they have. And, if you want something they dont have in the store, you can talk to the staff and they can probably order it for you.

This store is amazing. I took my father-in-law here from Germany, and he was positively blown away. This place is huge and has an amazing selection with great prices. You can get literally get anything you want alcohol wise, and they have tons of nice little knick knacks that you can pick up for anyone in your life that loves alcohol. The prices were so good that my father-in-law picked up three bottles of various liquors that he couldnt get cheaper in Germany (one was Grey Goose).

Two things set Total Wines apart - selection and nonjudgmental, knowledgeable service. Theyre huge and carry SO MANY OPTIONS. You can likely find what youre looking for in stock, or you can special-order any time. For me, though, their staff really makes a difference. They are not snooty or rude and they know so much about their products. They never talk down to you or get offended at a lower budget or novice palate. Ask them for a recommendation and you will not be sorry!

I am a regular customer over a good period of time. The selection, at times, can overwhelm you. You have to be cautious about there own bulk buys that they feature to the extent that you can feel the salespeople push them on you. Some of these selections can be very hit and miss. Overall, Total is a great place to shop and spend some time. Be prepared, prepare a list of items you need, try out the sample tastings and enjoy.

I love this chain. So very helpful with recommendations, people on the floor really know their stuff and most of the time I try their suggestions. My checkout experience not so good, while I know wine isnt produce, I dont appreciate the cashier roughly throwing my purchase in the box and the cart. I bought $200 of wine/beer, left the store with a negative experience and no "thank you".

The new location is a godsend. It has an Internet order desk. It has classrooms, a walk-in humidor, bigger walk-in chiller. That selection is astounding. It has 2 tasting centers. You can walk in & peruse the aisles. Of course the staff is knowledgeable beyond words. The parking lot is now Yuge. Many people can be inside & it still feels massive. I love the selections & variety.

If youre looking for great recommendations on bourbon/whiskey/rye, talk to Sage. Only person in years that could kick me from my Jack Daniels single barrel obsession. Kind and knowledgeable and very willing to asssit. She even let me try samples before buying it to further explain. Total Wine is awesome and this store and their employees do not disappoint.

Probably the best chain alcohol store in the country. Fair selection of beer for its size. Wide array of wine selection, however it is fairly standard wines that are not very hard to find. Liquor selection is quite well stocked with nearly everything you could want. Scotch selection is actually quite good as well for this sort of store.

This is a good place to get most of your favorites for a few fewer dollars than usual. If you want bulk liquor and spirits, this is definitely the place. The big box store for wines and liquors. I still shop my local stores for any needs throughout the week, but if I want a lot and for cheap, I plan to stop by TW&M on the weekend.

This is one of the best places to shop for adult beverages. The only problem you might face is picking up something that has a flashy promotion and it turns out to be trash. They were recently pushing a line of vodkas, which turned out to be nothing more than overly sweet 60-proof liquor, I had to give it away.

When I go to Total Wine & More I plan in extra time. The biggest store in the area to buy wine , and liquor . The selections are great. People working there know the inventory very well and find for you what you are looking for. The beer selection is unfortunately just ok. They have seasonable beers .

I always have a great experience in this store. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Theyre not always looking to sell you the most expensive bottles of wine. They really listen to what youre looking for or what you like and then make suggestions. Sales are usually great too!

Love every Total Wine store Ive been in. The staff is very helpful and their Laurel store is remarkably well stocked. I was hosting friends and took them here to pick up some locally brewed beer. They even carry the brand of Sake they love. Its great to have Total Wine in the neighborhood.
