The thing about Grocery Outlet is that the stock is constantly changing; you cant always count on being able to buy a specific item, but you often stumble across ridiculous deals, especially on organic groceries. Not everything is at a big savings, but most items are. Check expiration dates; sometimes they are excellent but other times very close so youll want to make sure you will eat the item before it goes bad. They also often have excellent deals on seasonal decor, kitchen items (utensils, pots, storage, etc.), cleaning & laundry supplies (including natural options), personal care items (often brands like Jason, Toms, EO, and Seventh Generation, in addition to "regular" brands), and a lot of random other stuff. They have tons of cereals, and tons of frozen foods. They have a pretty large pet section, and although usually the pet food is not premium brands, I once found crazy cheap Organix dog food there. You just never know, and the really good deals often go fast. Some of the organic items you see a lot are milk, cheese, eggs, yogurt, Amys frozen foods and canned soups, Pacific boxed soups, soy milk, produce, pasta, cereal, tea, chicken, sometimes beef, and various energy/granola bars and chips. Pretty awesome and I saved a lot of $$$. Very different from the one I visited in Petaluma although that was many years ago so might be a lot different in Petaluma now. This one is bright and organized nicely although there were so many things that it took me a long time, but then again Im a very slow shopper and look at everything. The Petaluma store, about 10 years ago had hundreds of strange canned foods made in the United States but labeled as for marketing in many strange countries. Im sort of a gourmet but this was really strange food and I wasnt sure if I should try some of the items or if they were too weird to eat. Canned Alligator and insect dishes, etc.

This is because Notato Grocery Outlet ALWAYS has the lowest and best prices with fresh quality produce and dairy. The added bonus is the warm, kind and caring owners and employees. Small grocery store selling overstock and poor selling merchandise at deep discount. Some name brands. You may be able to get 60-70% of what you need with some compromise. Generally save 30-50% off of Safeway or Lucky store prices.
