HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE in the grooming salon! GO TO PETCO INSTEAD! Im not sure what the names of the 2 women were, but the women in the grooming salon, both working early this afternoon, older women with dirty blonde to light brown hair, were rude and very unpleasant. One of them I spoke with a week prior and she informed me of policies and failed to mention key details about the policies causing me to waste yet another long trip to pet smart just to be told my dog was not able to get her nails trimmed. Not only did they fail to mention specifics that could have saved me a trip and the hassle, they were just rude an seemed inconvenienced that I was even there. Its always been the way Ive been treated by both of these women in particular, but Ive had enough. I REFUSE TO EVER GO THERE OR TO ANY PETSMART EVER AGAIN BECAUSE OF THE BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THEM!!! Id rather go to PETCO and pay more money for the same thing, drive further to their store and find a different brand of dog food since they dont carry the brand I have used for the last 3 years! Im posting bad reviews and telling all of my friends, family, coworkers and my customers never to go there again, especially that location. I left pet smart and immediately went to Petco and they got me right in, took my and my dogs information and trimmed her nails and even offered to help me find a comparable brand of dog food. I can get the same products from a lot of different places, but if Im not treated right or valued as a customer, I will not go back. When I told the lady I would never come bad she looked as if she could care less. Im glad Im never going to have to see her face or the other lady again. There are other nice people there, but its not worth my time or effort, not will I spend any more of my money there again.

I usually go religiously to the PetSmart in Colorado for the Furmintor treatment on my service dog. While home in Tampa on Leave i recommended PetSmart grooming to my parents for their two dogs. They decided to try them....HORRIBLE, i was apauled at the attitude of the staff in the grooming salon. The girl who was checking the dogs in acted as though we were a complete inconvienence to her and made cruel and nasty comments about one of my parents dogs because she was a rescue mutt and we couldnt give her an exact breed on her. She asked another worker what kind of dog she was "because THEY dont know"...the other girl said in a demeaning way "mutt". I didnt realize that only purebread dogs are able to utilize the grooming salon in south tampa! This topabled with the dirty salon and rude staff made my mother and i take our dogs and leave PetSmart. I cannot beleive this kind of service from PetSmart. As perviously stated i rave about the salon in Colorado and ive gone through all of the trainings there as well (with my other dog)...I am shocked at the attitudes in this particular store.

Stopped in store to buy deworming meds. Went to back where meds are and couldnt find them. So I start walking to front of the store half way there is we an employee (very tall African American man) who tells me the cashier can get me the dewormer. Go to cashier and was told by cashier that the dewormer is in back last isle where meds are. I then tell the cashier that a gentleman told me you had to get it for me. He then says "oh it must be locked up the manager will have to get it." So waiting for the manager comes up front (which happens to be the very tall African American gentleman, I am now kind of pissy because he was the one asked in the first place) so I tell him again I need deworming meds for my dog. He goes into the office and brings me "tapeworm dewormer" I then said this is not what I want. I want quad brand and dog is 10lbs. He then brings me the correct one. Customer service is the worst I have even seen and will never go here again EVER! I also asked about dosage and manager could not answer my questions. Only wanted to know is it just one dose or .....?

We were taking our new dog to an excellent vet on Kennedy, but then I thought it was more conveniant to go to Banfield as we get some of our supplies there. The two vets there utterly terrified my dog. They had no people skills and apparently no animal skills as well. They made no attempt to establish rapport with my dog (whom we got from a shelter so has stranger anxiety) and with each visit my dog would become absolutely paranoid about being there (my prior vet was able to keep my dog calm and playful.) Their main agenda is to only push their vaccines, meds, and Petsmarts products on you. Whatever you think you will save by their "unlimited visits" and exams is offset by some of the unneccassary meds they will push on you. Im planning on transferring to a different Banfield, but after the one year period runs out I plan on going to another vet.

Had a 7am appointment for my 8 week old kitten. A confirmation for that appointment was ready for them but still was lied to at the door. Claimed that the store does not accept appointments as early as 7am. After realizing their low intelligence level and error they let me in and lead me to the back for her grooming appoinment. A lady called michelle had called prior to inform me she was waiting for me at 7am. The lady at the vaccinations blatently lied about the address of this store and tried to send me away. She lied again by claiming there was no michelle working here. Until i had to resort to my email confirmation to call out their pathetic efforts to not work, they shut up and did their job as they should. Thank you petsmart people, keep doing your job thats why youre there not to complain. Thanks haha

Grooming is terrible. Have never had a good experience there. Last time was the last straw. We dropped our lab off to have his nails grinded and literally two minutes later they called and said he was ready. When we picked him up his nails looked no different and were still extremely long. The staff then proceeded to tell us our dog got extremely aggressive and tried to bite them but they still did his nails. 1. Our dog has never shown aggression in his life and 2. His nails were not cut at all. This is only the tip of the ice berg of the grooming staff at the South Tampa location. Go elsewhere!!!

This place is great for finding everything you would need for your pet. Unfortunately, the grooming there is just not very good. Weve been going here for a few years now & most of the time when my dog gets groomed here its amazing, but there are other times where I guess the groomers dont pay very close attention to how near my dogs skin they go & so we pick him up & notice cuts or rashes of some sort that actually start to bleed sometimes & its extremely sad to see my pet suffer through that. So a word of advice to the PetSmart groomers, PLEASE STOP HURTING MY DOG.
