I went to this toyota dealer to look for a car that I found on their website. I drove more than an hour just to come here and see the car. When I got there, Martin, a salesman, came and greet me. So I told him that Im looking for a specific car. He told me he would bring me to where it parked at. On our way to the car, he said the car that Im looking for probably sold that morning already but he has another car with same model around the same price to show to us. I was like okay sure, lets take a look. I asked him how much is the car and asked if he can check on the price and print us the carfax. He simply said I cant print you the carfax without showing us the car first. I was like what? I dont understand because Ive been to so many dealers past couple of days and they dont have that set of rules but I was like okay fine whatever. So I asked him the price again and he said its $12000. Well since I had done alot of research on this specific car (Camry SE 2012,2013,2014), I have not seen any of them around this price range. I thought that the price is way too cheap to be true. I kept asking him if hes sure thats the price, and he kept saying YES, IM SURE!. We went for a test drive and me and my parents decided to take the car and start the deal. We went to his table, he printed out the carfax for us (without telling us the actual price after he look it up in the system). We read the carfax and very satisfied with it so my dad decided to do the offer for the price. He printed out the pricing with the tax and fees for us. The paper said the car is $13991 and if discounts it goes down to $13,200 something. WELL, HE TOLD US THE PRICE WAS $12000!! He lied to us and wasted hours from us! He really doesnt know stuffs and all he wanted to do is pushing the sale on to us. Well, my dad still want the car so he decided to write down the offer hoping that he would get back to us and negotiate the price back and forth. BUT NOPE! HE DID NOTHING AND KEPT TELLING US THE PRICE IS TOO LOW ITS NOT WORKING. I asked him can you go talk to your manager and ask him for other possible price then? HE SAID NO, I CANT. I started thinking why not? Then my mom asked him, can we talk to your manager or decision maker person? HE SAID NO.... At that point I was like, I dont understand this guy. Then he said this is the final price and thats it. Cant go any lower. Well, you are salesman and you are supposed to negotiate the price with us to get the sales! Instead he did nothing! and kept refusing to negotiate any other price that will work on both of us! I still want that camry SE but I dont trust you guys salesman anymore. I might not go back there even if I still want that car. Martin couldve gotten the sale from us by negotiating further with price but he simply ruined it and dont know how to negotiate as a salesman. When we walked out, he didnt seem to even care for stopping us to negotiate or anything. He just let us walked out without saying a word. Im very very disappointed! Do not make a deal with Martin if you are planning to negotiate the price! Hes horrible at his job!!

We got a great deal, but we were left with a bad taste in our mouth and right now would not refer anyone to them. As a veteran, a caregiver and a former sales professional, I know what it means to serve - I dont need their type of service. My wife and I had a simple request: We noticed that the cigarette lighter was missing from the used 2012 car we decided to purchase, so we asked our Sales Professional NICELY that it would be replaced. It was pictured in their photos posted, so it should be in the car. He said ok, but had to check. He asked a senior Sales Professional and he LIED, saying: "...the 2012 does not come with a cigarette lighter." What are we stupid? Its a simple request, if the dealership doesnt want to replace/supply it, just say so. Dont lie and treat us like were dumb. Then a comment was made, "you dont smoke, so why do you need it". He said it jovially, probably didnt mean any harm, but why the push back. Just order it. Plus, they didnt know if we smoked or not and It was none of their business if we smoked or not. Maybe we preferred it in the slot, because aesthetically it looks better, or whatever. Again, if the dealership doesnt want to replace/supply it, just say so. Another comment was made...we ignored it...and finally in the end we were told it was being ordered. We went to do the paperwork and pick up the car. Found out it wasnt ordered. Why the impression was given that "it was ordered", I dont know - probably wasnt intentional. Okay, no problem, we had to do the paperwork first - sign a form. And well have to come back for it. Got the car... A day or so later a "Quality Service Rep" called. We spoke well of our Sales Professional, but mentioned the unwanted pushback over the lighter. She apologized and said to expect a call from a manager. She processed her report. Next day, we got a call from our Sales Professional, the one we spoke well of, and unfortunately (so we thought), seemed to have gotten the blamed for the blunt of the criticism. He apologized, made a promise to get the item in and also said he would help in getting the transmitter (keyless entry) fixed - we discovered it didnt work. One Month and six days later: 1. No call from the manager 2. Never heard back from our Sales Professional (after I left two phone messages, sent two emails, and called the dealership -they transferred me to his voicemail). 3. I decided to call the parts dept. (20+ days later) to see if the lighter came in - GUESS WHAT? It was NEVER ordered. Now some might say, "All this over a lighter, ah, just let it go." I say, if you are all about the customer and about quality service, then, why all of this over a lighter???

AVOID NALLEY: Low Prices are Compensated with Low Trade-In. They lure you in with low prices, but then they adjust their margin somewhere else. I bought my eighth car, a new Toyota Sienna, from Nalley. I hate shopping for cars. On every occasion, shopping for cars has been an adversarial experience, in which dealers have tried to gain advantage in unsavory ways. Nalley was my second best option, pricewise. The first option on my list, in South Carolina, tried to pull a bait-and-switch on me; when I was on my way to Columbia SC, the dealer decided to disclose that the “new” car I intended to buy actually had 1,500 miles on it. Nalley was no exception to the adversarial rule. I was very dissatisfied with the value of my trade in, because, according to the manager I talked to, “a 9-year old car is difficult to sell”, and hence the car was graded as in “poor condition”. Except for paint peel on a corner of a bumper, the car was actually in excellent condition, with only 75K miles. One of Nalleys employees bought it shortly after, which comes across bad… ha! So hard to sell. A couple of hours prior to coming to Nalley, I stopped at another Toyota dealer and they appraised my Prius at $6,000. Nalley gave me $4,250 (after haggling… the first offer was $4,000). The difference between these two dealers including financing was that Nalley was $750 more expensive. I went to Nalley because the offered the lowest price, and I thought that they would be the best option. I had planned a trip two days later (on Saturday) to Orlando, Florida, for which I had rented a minivan . By the time the negotiation ended, around Thursday 11 PM, I had to decide between going to other dealer that was actually $750 below their price but did not have the car I wanted in stock (and hence no guarantee of getting it on Friday), or pay $1,000 for a rental ($80/day for two weeks) to haul 6 people during our vacation. I took the hit from Nalley because of a pressing need, not because of their great service. Nalley made me waste my time and my money. Had I gone ahead with the other dealer I would have given them enough time to get my car. Nalley lured me to them with the promise of a low price, but they tried to compensate with a very low trade-in. I find this disingenuous and dishonest. Yes, I made business with them... because I was in a tight spot and needed to solve a pressing need. Avoid Nalley. Go and do business somewhere else, where they might quote you higher prices, but will be more honest about trade-in and financing.
